  1. hello gtz and welcome. i have had two proceedures with dr farjo and am more than happy with my results to date. i was a nw 5 approaching 6 and now a nw3 with quite good density,i am going for another with them in 2010 when i can sort the time off just to add the finishing touches. take a look at my blog as well as "fallenstar","longpig"and "brian boro".these guys are a few patients of farjo that immediatly spring to mind. as for price i think you will find him competitive with most of his peers listed on this site. good luck and keep us posted.
  2. haven't been on here much lately due to a new job,so thought i'd drop in to wish everyone a merry christmas and prosperos new year.
  3. merry christmas to you and yours fs,and a hairy new year!
  4. rapheal, brian wrote the book " Diary of a hairtransplant,a journalists search for David Cassidy hair" it is an excellent read and a must for anyone considering a ht,aswell as those post ht waiting in the doldrums.(i also get a mention aswell as spex and Bill etc. scorpio great to hear you had a good consult with mick and dr f.
  5. thana every day of the week! his use of the english language alone makes him a great choice, added to this his years of unbiased advice, knowledge and frequent appearances on here are unmatched.
  6. thana,i cant believe what i'm reading! you look like a stud my man if i was a female i definatly would!lol just shoot her the "magnum" and you'll be home dry!
  7. hi hova, unfotunatly the dr's farjo do not offer fue at present.
  8. hi spex, not really had much to add since my last 1 year update. i felt i had a bad shed earlier this year and buzzed the lot off for the summer, seems ok now and i'm trying to grow it longer than i have before. if i can resist the clippers i will post some pics in a couple of months.
  9. thought i has already commented on this one?!? anyhoo, looks great for five months. and to brandi...i would indeed like to send a comment...hubba,hubba!
  10. looks terrific fs! a real night and day transformation. are you done now?or will hg come a knockin again??lol
  11. hi hj, have you any photos of your current situ? (before and after)
  12. congatulations korec, glad to hear you had a positive experience. now the hard part...waiting. longpig, where have you been??look forward to your pics.
  13. "especially with my fat head" BEHAVE! son,you will look back at that fat head in 20 years and wonder what the fuck you were thinking! seems to me you have a bit of a warped self image thing going on,stop looking in the mirror and go out and enjoy yourself. my missus is a hairdresser and she reckons your hair flat to your head like that is not complimenting your face shape.ie get a style.
  14. i can relate to where tw5 is now. i too had the beautiful wife and kids, married for 16 years(now 20),well paid job,gym 3 times a week and a shaved head since the age of 25. i still yearned for hair, even just a little. i was a nw5/6 and shaved every other day, because my hair was quite dense at the sides and bck it left the dark shadow. i remember thinking i wish i just had some of that shadow on top, nothing much just a nw3 pattern like Statham, diesil and the like. my brother had that pattern(still does)and i think it makes all the difference. so when i planned for my ht this is what i had in mind,to go from a bald to a balding look. i am a nw3 now with average density and light density in the crown. i would suggest if you go down the ht route(after loads of research first)i would go for this sort of conservative approach. you are never going to get a woman attracting head of hair back(unless hm comes along)but then i doubt thats what really bothers you,it's the bald guy tag that you feel constantly follows you when ever you meet new people. good luck in what ever you choose to do,but just remember once done you will never be able to shave down again without the scar on show and after shaving for 12 years it is a big decision to make.
  15. lemon lol,too much information! best to give fin a year and then judge the results.tbh most guys use it to maintain the hair they have, only a lucky few get new growth. having said that though i experienced growth but then it was only thin hair in the crown area and was easy to see as i was slick bald before.
  16. freakin,i would say this isn't just shock loss as your immediate post op pic shows he transplanted about an inch in front of the forlock. your present photo seems to show little growth in this area also? just my opinion.
  17. nice big session!obviously the patient had all the right factors in place. look forward to his progress mick!
  18. mmm...interesting. to be honest i am not that big a fan of car racing hence the f1/indy comparison.i am beginning to get more into it lately since hamilton won the championship and button made that amazing start to the season.i have had a quick google and recognise what you say about the differnce between the two. my favorite though is bikes, love moto gp and superbikes!i also used to stay up to date with the ama series but they stopped covering it over here. at the end of the day if its noisy, fast and dangerous i'll watch it!
  19. sorry Bill,my bad. i still agree with the others though, for a nw4 to go through 3 operations to achieve what most clinics on here can do in one these days is a bit much. result looks ok though.
