  1. It greatly depends on whether you will be shaved or not. If not you may be able to hide it.
  2. Thanks for the comments. I will update it every 2 months. I will follow your advice, stick to propecia and some T-Gel/revita shampooing. No more experiments.
  3. the B spot, spex, TooThin, thanks for your comments. 10 days post op I started using Rogaine twice a day. 4 months later I stopped rogaine, in view of very hot climate and irritations in the forehead from the sweat. Do you think this could have delayed my growth or had any negative other impact?
  4. Hi Dr., I do not agree with what you wrote above. If somebody is at an advanced NW scale and has successful mega session, most people who know him, will know that he had HT when they see him after a year post op.
  5. Thanks for all your comments will keep it updated. So you say that because this is my 3rd op, I have slower growth than normal?
  6. As additional info, I started using propecia immediately post-op (never used before) and rogaine foam 10 days post-op. Unfortunately on June I dropped rogaine, as the weather in Athens is extremely hot and I sweat a lot, starting from the head. This resulted to my forehead skin irritations as rogaine was spilling together with sweat. This could had a negative effect in my growth (slow it down). What do you think? Also am I expecting something better at this point?
  7. 1 year update. Hello. These are pre-op photos, 5 and half months post-op and 8 months post-op (yesterday).
  8. John Malloy, try not to be nervous and anxious about it. I understand that it is difficult, however at this early stage you have to think positive and stop worrying.
  9. hair the dog, it depends on the amount of graft that you need and $$$ that you afford to spend Also the distance and the obligations play a role.
  10. After you do FUE, you will never do strip again...even if there are small scars - the trauma to the head is 10 fold less, recovery is almost instantaneous, and there is no numbness. 1000 FUE should take up to 8 hours as you said, but it is nothing like strip. Don't fool yourself. I do not fool myself, but since I start with the strip road, I will harvest anything that I can via strip and then go to fue if needed. It is true about the numbness which lasts at me 3 months but it doesn't bother me at all. I prefer to have the best result that I can than the less intrusive surgery that I can. Even more that I had a strip already, so I will have to live with long scar(s) for the rest of my life.
  11. I agree with Fookinhair, since you had a strip in the past why mess with fue? Also I don't consider 1500 grafts fue a small session, it will take all day
  12. Congratulations to you Dewayne and to Dr. Cooley, you have a really natural result.
  13. Can you post a link to the typical male pattern baldness Bill? TIA
  14. Thats what I noticed also, he looks the same as pre-op
  15. Hi Leeson If propecia is working then why switch to something else?
  16. try to keep it max 4-5 cigs per day and you will be OK
  17. I fully agree with hairthere, it looks a bit sparse, but in the hands of a very good doc, it can be used as a base for an excellent thick result.
  18. This could be a separate topic, but since it is posted, I have to say that from the few things that I know that far, I tend to agree. What do you guys think?
  19. Finasteride helps keeping the hair above the donor area, or and the donor area as well? if its the later then it protects grafts also. I had a repair job of around 2600 grafts and covered the front area, just before the crown.
