  1. This is a very good question. I guess the donor area is naturally thicker but its just a guess, I would like to see a pro answer.
  2. Do you have any feedback on X5 hairlaser? Link I ask because it is available in my country (no shipping costs) and cheaper also. Thanks
  3. I don't know what you mean by dangerous, but I can confirm that there is no drug without side effects. The stronger the drug is, the more chances for increased side effects.
  4. I explained to the security that I had undergone a hair transplant the day before, because I had to pass a liquid, the graftcyte spray with me and keep applying it every hour or so (even on the plane). In the US the person who searched me was very kind and didn't ask me to remove the bandana, although I didn't have any problem removing it. In Amsterdam (intermediate stop) I was asked to remove it, in order to pass the search point and I removed it, and told them that I return from HT and they looked me very in a very strange way, as they didn't expect it. I believe you should do the same: don't even care about them as you will never see them again. Also regarding the flight: if you sleep seated for 10 hours, I think this is the best sleep you can have against possible swelling, actually I believe it helped me a lot because my head was higher than my body at all time.
  5. Hi. I recently traveled many hours the next day after HT (like you). I used only bandana, which is way more comfortable than the hat for many hours in the plane. You can get one which is made to substitute a hat and will be very convenient in the flight as it will apply way less pressure in your head than a baseball hat, like this example. http://www.champ-sys.com/pages/detail.aspx?ID=74
  6. Thanks for the links. Mine were sutures though and the clinic gave me proper tools to remove. Not a big deal that my wife removed them, its just was uncomfortable for me and more for her I think
  7. I don't think different but its better to post some pics, so that we can suggest.
  8. Almost same with me. My wife removed the sutures, her hands were shaking in the beginning and she was pale. It took her about 15 minutes and when she finished I drunk a whiskey and smoked a cig, relieved but in relevant pain.
  9. thanks Petchski, can I use toppic now?
  10. Hello, I am nearly 2 weeks after my repair HT and I have some questions: - my wife removed the sutures yesterday and it hurt. I took a vicodin that was left and now I am off vicodin. In the pre-op instructions it was mentioned not to take aspirin 2 weeks prior to surgery for blood thinning purposes. Now that I am off vicodin can I use a painkiller thats popular in Europe like aspirin or depon or panadol? - the scar has scabs in some parts. How do I remove them? Do I still have to wash twice a day or daily will be fine for the next month? I have read here to put some aloe gel before bedtime, do I have to put anything else in the scar for quicker healing? - can I start using toppic to conceal the scar? Thanks

  12. Thanks a lot for all your honest and encouraging replies, I almost knew that 5 cigs are not a big deal.
  13. Hi, I bought Solgar's MSM after reading older threads here, but on the same shelf I saw Solgar's "Hair and Nails". Do you think I should have bought the hair n nails formula? I am asking for next time.
  14. Can you clarify in to what extend it effects the growth? I am a light smoker of about 5 cigs per day and I am 2 weeks after my HT and I have difficult time to quit smoking.
  15. Although it lacks density, the result is very natural, and if I were you, I would seriously consider to stay like this.
  16. Hi, this is without doubt the most difficult part of the surgery: the couple of months after. As an advice you can use a concealer like toppix.
  17. I know that Feller is quite good according to results I have seen, and possibly the best in your area: http://www.fellermedical.com/ Before do anything, make a research at this forum to results posted by patients and clinics, because the distance must not be a factor in deciding the doctor. http://hair-restoration-info.c...s/a/frm/f/2566060861 http://hair-restoration-info.c...s/a/frm/f/3521087683
  18. Thanks your message under construction. Please see my thread here for photos: http://hair-restoration-info.c...181093204#2181093204 Scroll in the middle of the 1st page to see all pictures. I asked about doing them all together, in order to fly again back in US in some years and not to undergo consecutive repairs every year. Please tell me your opinion, the doctor is Shapiro.
  19. Hello in a month I fly to US to have my old transplant repaired to a more natural look. My aim is to get as more hair from donor area as possible. However I am thinking if at the same time I can revise my old scar and remove my old plugs, cut them to one hair follicles and replace them on my head, as I read somewhere in the forum. Can I do all these at once or it will be too much?
