  1. The whole story seems a nightmare, a procedure with a poor result and a not properly planned touch up, more than two years invested to look worse: yes, some more hair, but obviously not enough and, whats is more, not natural. I wish you all the best and hope you find a doctor who can achieve a decent result.
  2. If I am not mistaken, I once read from a Couto's patient (so, this is what patient wrote, not direct words from dr.) that doctor mentioned him that he stopped or was considering stop using 0.7mm diameter punches to punch out grafts from donor, because it might partially damage follicles and then make the long term survival rate lower. If I manage to find the thread I will copy the post.
  3. After all the issues, having to deal with cobblestoning is just too much. It completely blows my mind that a top tier clinic could cause that condition.
  4. Pitella is awesome In 6 months you will look 15 years younger all the best!
  5. Finasteride/Dutasteride and oral minoxidil is the only way to go, you're starting your treatment late. Don't have a surgery without having stabilized alopecia, since you could lose even more hair, believe it or not.
  6. I hope dr Bisanga can do his magic on his donor. There is however a case (also posted and treated by Bisanga) in which donor is even worse, not due to the lack of hair but the skin condition:
  7. I'm currently taking 3mg oral Minoxidil and, as for me, is enough. But my dermatologist consider this low dose.
  8. Looks really natural, as if you didn't have a transplant congrats!
  9. this is how a hairtransplant should look like congratulations on your result
  10. All the best in your journey My bet would be Hair of Istambul or Aisha, let me know if I am right
  11. This is an amazing result, a really natural one: design, density, directions and angles on point.
  12. Sadly many of us did have little to no experience and that's the reason why we ended up having undesired results. Hopefully, thanks to this and many other forums and sources such as drs. talking openly about repairs we are becoming more educated and can easily recognise red flags. Cheers.
  13. Better pictures actually showing the hairline, different angles as well as brighter images would be great
  14. Reading that old case (10 years now), it is both a shame how dr Umar answered and how moderators dealt with the whole situation. I hope the patient is in great condition these days.
  15. They are a hair mill, that's all. Regarding your second question: obviously NO.
  16. Among others, I would mention Bisanga, Muresanu, Feriduni and Lorenzo. I'm sure there are a lot more who can deal with punching out some of the grafts.
  17. Cotellessa, in Valencia (Spain), that was a completely wrong decision (unnatural, bad angles, some multiples...). Happy you went for Couto finally.
  18. You had a really good and natural result from your first surgery, obviously it could be better, as it will be following Couto's procedure. Hopefully you had the second surgery with world class dr. Couto, and not with the dr. you mentioned in your previous thread. I had my surgery with her and I need a true repair procedure now following her careless and mediocre job; I would be reaaally happy if I had a result similar to the one you got with HLC. All the best!
