  1. Absolutely no part of this was right, I can’t see how anybody doing this type of work should be on any recommendation list, this should be urgently reviewed. As this community is “for and by patients” then surely Drs can be removed in cases like this. Radio silence so far…
  2. @conquer1991hey Bro, can we get a update of your situation 🤨
  3. Exactly this, we can help guide you and offer support, but please do confirm who this was, some of us may already know, but it needs to be put out there for the unaware/uninformed too.
  4. As for Dr Freitas I can’t recall seeing many/any Afro results?
  5. Yeh although I like Dr Pekiner I wouldn’t say he’s the best choice for Afro hair, As mentioned above I would look at Dr Mwamba, Dr Bisanga and Dr Barghouthi. I don’t believe any option in Turkey for Afro centric.. they don’t have the experience and expertise. At 24 and with a transplant already under you’re belt then you need to plan the next one very carefully 🤜🏿
  6. @HappyMan2021Everything I can see and have read would lead me to believe it could only really be one Dr, OP can you confirm this? And yeh the planting pattern is a major clue. Pre and post op pics would obviously give them game away. OP really hope you can share some more pics.
  7. I’m not a fan of his work but it’s pretty obvious who the Dr (D?) is, This is poor planning, and sub par work to say the least, so sorry you have been left with such a poor scar and I can’t stress enough how important it is to look for a proven alternative for a repair. Nothing about this transplant sits right at all. 😞
  8. Is it someone on the recommended list here? Incisions shouldn’t be done by a tech, in particular if it was either US or UK. Can you at least say the country
  9. I bet they didn’t, doesn’t suit the business model, if I’m wrong OP let me know. 🤨
  10. I wouldn’t be going back to the same Dr/Clinic, you can’t afford for the FUT to potentially get even more stretched, no guarantee they will do any better. Scar revision is difficult even in the elite Drs hands, the more skin excised the more risk of stretching. By all means consult with some Drs that are excelling in this area. Which begs the question, who was this done by?
  11. Bro see a Dermatologist and/or a hair transplant Dr, even if we see pics it needs a professional to make the call.👍🏿
  12. Ok this is impressive, Beard transplants are difficult to pull off, yet this looks entirely natural. Kudos to the Dr 🤜🏿
  13. You have to be wondering though, why not more results being posted if he’s been doing hair transplants for so long. Who else did you consult with? I don’t want to derail this thread too much Incase the op does come back. It’s not great at 6 months, but would be interesting to see how it ended up. Have you seen any patient posted journeys that are complete? Would you be able to start a new thread?
  14. I can see why you would be a lil freaked out, how comes you ended up choosing this Dr? Looking here I can’t say I’m impressed with the work, 2 unfinished journeys which isn’t a great sign. Sorry but I would be considering choosing a proven/elite Dr instead, when you say you’re booked for a month do you mean appt or actual transplant?
  15. Yeh this is my thoughts, he does indeed normally look ok but it’s clear he’s going to keep heading down the MPB path from here on in. His father pretty much followed the same journey.
  16. Uk comedian/actor/presenter and writer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he follows his dads pattern if it’s left unattended. Will post pics of both.
  17. Jack Whitehall has got pretty amazing hair, and although the front is obviously still good this pic has me wondering if he is starting to lose ground…
  18. For 6 months out this is very good, the crown whorl has been recreated well here 👍🏿
