  1. Yes they’re on the recomended list. North America. The surgeon only made the incisions at the temple points and then left the rest of the incisions and graft placement to his tech. The clinic recently told me she is an MD and had worked there for 12 years, but the surgeon didn’t tell me any of this in pre-op and I’m really upset about it. That 90% success rate with scar revisions might be possible with this surgeon tbh. I’ve seen one of their revisions and its AMAZING - it’s why I chose him. If I just had the scar to deal with I’d return to them without thinking, but I don’t like how my surgery was handled. Yes I’ve had 8500 grafts (my bank account can sure confirm this), although I haven’t seen any growth on top from this surgery so I guess that’s why it still looks bad. I don’t want to share the clinic photos yet but basically all the gaps were filled in. So do I fix the scar with a revision, SMP or grafts? Return to the clinic or not? Why did the scar stretch so much this time - did the surgeon take too many grafts?
  2. I’d rather not say who the surgeon is as I still have to deal with them. The clinic is considered elite and are responsible for lots of famous transplants. They cost a lot. The surgeon said scar revisions have a 90% success rate but idk. My scalp laxity has already returned so does that mean it's a good idea to try a revision, or do i just have stretchy skin and it will happen again? Their consent form said the scar shouldn't be more than 1-1.5mm and my previous scar was 1mm. The scar is bad to deal with, but what Im really upset about is the srugeon had a tech do all the incisions on top without telling me, and now all those 2000 grafts have failed. THe surgeon transplanted the temple points himself and all those 800 grafts grew. The surgeon said I didnt have any conditions that would stop growth on top. I dont like how my surgery was handled and feel lost what to do next
  3. I had 2900 FUT surgery early this year. My previous FUT scar was only 1mm wide, but this time the scar has stretched somewhere between 4-7mm. During the surgery the doctor made all the incisions at the sides and all those grew by month 5. But he then had his tech perform the rest of the incisions on top without telling me and I still don’t have any growth. Im now at month 9 This was before surgery THis is now I tried finding out about the tech who operated on me, and the clinic initially answered some of my questions they politely told me to stop when I wanted to know specifics about her experience. The surgeon has already offered to fix the FUT scar and will replace any grafts that don’t grow, but I have to wait til 12 months. Other clinics I’ve consulted do not believe I have enough grafts to cover the lost areas. I’ve already had 8500 grafts transplanted. I am incredibly upset and no longer have confidence in the surgeon despite their status in the industry. What do I do next?
