It’s not the best option, it’s chosen mostly for its cost and not expertise. Spend as much time as you can researching which Drs/Clinics are doing the best work. Without knowing anything about you then it’s difficult to guide which might be the most suitable for you’re particular needs. Look to Europe to find some of the most elite choices, Spain, Portugal and Belgium for example.

Dr. Dogan Turan - Fuecapilar - 2090 grafts FUE DHI
Pbaird98 replied to Hornby's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Lookin good 🤜🏿 -
Ok so I just read the whole thread from the beginning, I needed some clarity on what led you up to this point. As this was mostly beard grafts being used then yeh it’s entirely possible that the timeline would be extended somewhat. I also read that Eugenix could infact give you a full head of hair using around 10 - 12k worth of grafts from the Beard/Chest? So was the plan to always go back for more? I ask as obviously 3k is a quarter of what they mentioned to give you full head possible coverage. How many grafts would you say you had prior to this transplant? As they eked out only 500 scalp grafts it was obviously quite exhausted already. We all know that beard/chest hair should be a supplement to as many scalp hairs as possible, and I was curious to what the possible ratio might be in you’re case.

Bro, you need to be considering the likes of Dr Mwamba and Dr Bisanga, as well as someone like @DrTBarghouthi, definitely nowhere in Turkey for Afro hair ! Not any of the clinics you mentioned and most certainly not HOI or Asli Tarcan. Our hair type needs someone who is proficient and experienced in getting the best results with it 🤜🏿

Hair transplant under 3k (2k graft)
Pbaird98 replied to jonhc96's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
By ruling out Turkey you have taken away the safer options of Dr Turan & Dr Gur. Or even Dr Yaman, Demirsoy etc but even those come with some amount of risk. Personally I would only be choosing Fuecapilar if wanting to get a good but affordable procedure. Simply put you just won’t find a safe option in Europe for that kind of cost, it will be a tech only transplant and a massive risk. As mentioned above it will end costing far more in the long run, repairs are common place and expensive after making the wrong choice. Doing nothing is a better option, maybe in the future you can save up, do this wrong and a bad transplant is worse than MPB. -

Death after hair transplant in India
Pbaird98 replied to Walker Paper's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
Maybe the guy from India could have been helped or guided to choose a better clinic/Dr, but I cannot agree at all about the other person who has BDD, that needs medial support and professional help. As good as this community can be with help/support/guidance it does have its limits. I disagree with this statement. -

Hey bro, how many grafts was this? We sure are getting a lot of Mittal results recently. The work looks good, I’m curious about the scar across you’re scalp? -
"Crown HT needs less skill" - is this true?
Pbaird98 replied to Yan bio's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
A lot of skill needed if you’re wanting to recreate the crown whorl pattern, get it wrong or do a poor job then it’s going to be very noticeable. I would say You’re friend is wrong.. -

Dr Mani Mittall - Best UK Hair Transplant Surgeon
Pbaird98 replied to Grant Cherry's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Without derailing the thread to much just a quick search shows these: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/search/?&q=Manish mittal&search_and_or=or So yeh like you say, these are not full organic journeys, and do look more like marketing since they all pretty much show the same pattern of pics and posting details. Words being thrown around like “The best” and “Miracle” which are not true at all.- 10 replies

Any Martin Maag patients?
Pbaird98 replied to HappyMan2021's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Right so you just want people to comment but only in a way you want them too? That is the definition of a echo chamber. I could have been blunt and that’s why I asked early on. Some people come on forums and can take all kinds of feedback, others make a post and withdraw it, or realise that it’s not actually good work and they were misled. If you came here and are posting members are going to giving all sorts os opinions based on there any own opinions/experiences etc, this is what any forum does. Nobody should take anyone’s opinion of they don’t want too, but if you post you have to be prepared for all kinds, and unless they have it in their signature they are just a lay person and carry no more validity than any other member. I asked if I upset you as I thought when we was originally discussing SMP we were both on the same page, and obviously that changed. -

Pbaird98 replied to HappyMan2021's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Nope none of that is remotely true actually, like many here I just want to Help and assist people, this doesn’t involve a ego at all, and the only reason I said that was to show I’m basing my opinion after 15 years of looking at results and it’s the only time I have ever said it here, we all are dealing with various degrees or experiences of hair loss, this is why we are all on a hair loss forum. You’re going to have to look at the other comments too as it’s not really just one opinion, it’s many, and that is what is important, a collective opinion though is still just that. Ignore my feedback by all means, we can just both move on, I said I don’t wish to have any back and forth, i just gave a opinion on what i could see, I said early on I don’t want to offend or cause concern. -
Good clinics exist all over the world, Turkey gets more a mention than any other country as it’s like a mecca that’s synonymous with hair transplants as well as other medial tourism. That’s unfortunate as it’s also the place which had more hair mills per capita than anywhere else, and In reality 99% of which are not worth risking. People centre on Turkey and India because of the cost, both places are much more affordable than elsewhere, but this comes at a risk of you make the wrong choice. The Drs/Clinics mentioned here are not just those that’s on the recommended list, but plenty of others too, those that do good work usually end up also being recommended either by members on a consistent basis, or eventually might be added to the recommendations list provided by the forum itself. The list isn’t perfect (none are) it’s a starting point though, and the more time you spend researching the more of a idea you would have for other options. European options, such as those in Spain/Belgium/Portugal show some excellent Drs/Clinics while managing to remain somewhere in the middle for affordability. The same names will keep cropping up as people generally opt for those that are well proven/reliable and show consistent results, a lot here are 20+ years of demonstrating this.

Any Martin Maag patients?
Pbaird98 replied to HappyMan2021's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
People come here and ask for comments that is expected on a hair loss forum, members have all kinds of experience and are here to learn and share, this can be done in an constructive manner. I was very careful in how I commented on you’re thread, you absolutely don’t even need to take anything I say onboard or course, it’s just a opinion. I have no wish to get in any back and forth. I actually thought we was fine when last discussing the SMP. Anyway I wish you all the best. 🤜🏿 -
Any Martin Maag patients?
Pbaird98 replied to HappyMan2021's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I said 15 years of “looking” at results, which on a forum about hair loss is all you can have really, yes I have experience, no I don’t need to flaunt it, yes I have had my own hair transplants, but my opinion is just that, absolutely no need to take it if you don’t want too. A forum is where we discuss hair loss, and comment on threads, this is what is expected to happen. No need to get in to heated debates when opinions are stated, this is not some echo chamber though, expect to be challenged if needed. -

Lol let’s face it we are both anonymous posters on a hair loss forum 😂 we know nothing of each other 👍🏿
