  1. This has nothing to do with the surgeon’s work.
  2. Oh sorry for the misunderstanding:) my question is about the caliber in the beginning of the growth of the transplanted hair (hair diameter @3-4 months after transplant) vs. diameter after 12 months from transplant
  3. Hi everyone:) does anyone know to what degree (on avg.) the transplanted hair diameter changes? Does it double its diameter? more? less? any estimations would be welcomed thanks!
  4. I Think women in general are more aware to importance of aesthetics (hence will support your decision) and will probably be much less judgemental than we think of them
  5. Hi could you please elaborate on “the wrong direction “? Are there any specific hairs in the pictures whose angles are wrong? And in what should they be for better coverage? This is very interesting 🙌😯
  6. I'm actually asking about the timing of sprouting and hence growing, not rate of growing, and I never used the term "definitely" I'm asking whether that happens in the majority of cases. I've read somwehere that the midline (sagittally speaking) there's less blood supply, so that would make sense. Any thoughts/ideas anyone?
  7. Is it true that after a HT the hairs start to grow on the lateral sides (yellow) before the cerntral (white)?
  8. Hi, thank you very much for your support and kind words About the temple points - I'm a bit embarrassed to say I haven't been giving too much thought prior surgery. When Dr. Maras planned the new hairline he said: "temples are good and not needed at this point" (I didn't even think about it to this point in time, and I also trust him both professionally and as a gentlemen). I'm def. happy other people think it suits me!
  9. 3.5 months - today I started to use clay + toppik again, the way I used to see myself in the last 15 years or so. Even though probably only 50% of the transplanted hair sprouted and they're curled/colorless/thin - I really feel the new hairline frames my face better, and using toppik today (both pictures are with toppik) took me 1 minute in comparison to the 20-30 minutes I needed to style my hair pre-surgery.
  10. For me it took around 3.5 months so that native hair sufficiently concealed my new hair. I lowered my hairline 1 cm. When I go to work, I use toppik. Did you try?
  11. 3 months and 1 weeks: I'm still waiting for more hair to pop out at the hairline, so I can start comb my hair up like I was used to. 1.5 weeks on oral minoxidil 2.5 mg - no side effects so I'm happy.
  12. How’s things looking, friend? any improvement in the last 2 weeks?🙏
  13. “By month 4 approximately 40% of the hairs have penetrated the scalp, 50% by month 5 and roughly 60% to 70% of the hairs should have made an appearance by the end of month 6. At the end of the 9thmonth you should be able to see 90 to 100% of the transplanted hairs” ??? I know it changes from person to person, but in many blogs here it looks as though by 4 months around 80-90% had already popped through the scalp 🧐🤨
  14. There’s much to be said about this, but forehead height should be third of the length between hairline to chin
  15. Dr. Maras is a fantastic surgeon imho, and the waiting list isn’t too long
  16. One more thing I forgot! 4 days ago I switched from topical (foam) minoxidil to oral 2.5 mg per day. Hope it will help things out!
