  1. 12.5 weeks more small improvements. since my transplanted area is still quite red, I decided to take 1-2 weeks off minoxidil. I'm using foam (which is better tolerated by the scalp), only once per day, and I rinse it off after 20 minutes, but still - it irritates my skin too much. that made me itch too much and I might have broke some of the fragile hairs but that's ok - they'll grow again.
  2. 11.5 weeks: I think I'm finally noticing some growth
  3. tell them you raised your head and bumped your scalp against a door lock like these. it was open and you straigthed up very quickly, bleeded, and needed stitches. you're wearing a bandana to save them the ugly sight and waiting for things to look normal again
  4. 10.5 weeks Still can't use toppik due to left side (right side on picture) still lacking enough hair, but I hope 2-3 weeks from now I can start using it.
  5. I am so happy to read this! Thank you so much 🙏 also I’ve read so many comments you’ve made on other posts as well, you always explain things in length and in a very kind and warm manner (of course always being very informative), this is really something special and you deserve all the best😇
  6. Maybe some growth too..? When I zoom in I see some tiny (though some pretty long) colorless hairs.. 😅
  7. What are the small hair? Is it a stubble? Does this mean growing phase started? thank you again for the wonderful forum🙏
  8. They’re both considered very safe. And minoxidil doesn’t cause heart problems, unless you have studies to support this claim
  9. 9.5 weeks - native hair has grown a bit and I hope in 2-3 weeks I'm going to look normal again. I still don't have enough hair on my left side (right side on picture) to use toppik there..
  10. Make sure you’re not exposed to sun as this can lengthen recovery time.
  11. stem cells were injected in crown area only? also, I'm not sure - how long ago did you have your crown transplant?
  12. Update us! In a retrospect - 1. the infected skin was quite small and located in a rear position - I don't think it'll greatly affect your end-result. 2. indeed, it was not a necrosis like me (and others) tended to insist 3. I hope the dermatologist who told you it's an infection was experienced enough and unbiased 4. yes, waiting for updates. you deserve a good result!
  13. Sterilization has been a staple of modern medicine for a century. I'm not even sure if you're sarcastic or not. Choosing a low-quality hair mill because they allegedly take care of sterilization is ridiculous. What's next? recommendations based on the availability of electricity?
  14. Oh yes! it is so sooo much easier to use on the crown. that's why I've had the procedure
  15. Actually I'm not so sure if you were sarcastic or not..? But really, before surgery I could've engineer some very nice hair styles, but: 1. it could've take me 30 minutes to set it up (wash with water->half dry->wax->wait->wax again->comb precisely->use volumizer spray (it hold everything together)->apply toppik->gently remove toppik from scalp between frontal hair). 2. I felt good with my hair 1/3 of times, "OKish" 1/3, and "I don't like it today" 1/3. I know I'm quite a perfectionist here, but at least the only thing I'm so concerned about is hair, so at least I'm not obsessed with other things
  16. I find this very troublesome, as I did have a scab which lasted maybe 15 days even though I shampooed and massages it quite vigorously, I just felt If I do it more aggressively it actually might hurt the tissue and bleed. now (almost 8 weeks after transplant) it’s the only bare area in my hair line
  17. Hey people, I’ve read on hdc’s website that “it’s important to get rid of the scabs within 10 days, or they (the scabs) might falll together with follicles “… (This is written in the israeli website) is this true?! Yes, i know taking of the scabs is important - but can it really make the follicles drop with it, assuming it had take more than 10 / xyz amount of time..?
  18. I remember melvin saying 2 weeks ago this is normal
  19. watching the difference between the 8 weeks and now, especially on the hairline - this is so amazing and gives me much strength as I'm heading into the 8'th week and waiting for these "half-bear areas" to develope..
  20. Almost 8 weeks had passed 😇 I think the native hair which suffered shock-loss is starting to recover. There're also some transplanted front line hair that lengthened. Front is still red, but there's some minor improvement there. 2 weeks ago I deceided to switch minoxidil from twice to once per day, so there’s less skin irritation Would give anything to start seeing some growth!
  21. 8 weeks is still early. no need to pull anything, the hair and the process will take care of things naturally
  22. read the next paragraph: "continuous use of minx is needed to maintain hair regrowth". after you've had the regrowth - don't you want to keep it?
  23. first of all - thank you so much for the detailed reposne!:) I really wanted to know about this bruise.. did you actually see it bleeding? or you just noticed the scab forming there? also - what size is this area? around 1X1 cm? what do you refer this to - was this area too dense? because of infection? or do you think you a necrosis maybe..? I tried to find similar cases to understand better how mine would fold but I couldn't.. so happy for your success story - your hair looks simply unbelievble! do you feel the 'naked area' bothers you in real life when you set it up before leaving your house? and about fixing this - does this require shaving the area again, or could it be done between the existing hair?
