  1. "Traction alopecia needs constant pulling" - sounds logical, yes. Thanks you. About the toppik usage - I still need it to improve a bit posterior to hairline. I usually comb my hair up and this is worst for density and scalp coverage. I'm 5.5 post HT, so I hope density along hairline continues to improve (?), maybe hair caliber will increase and maybe some more hair will pop out (?).
  2. Hey everyone, 5.5 post ht. For the past 1 month i started picking excessive toppik that i had put on my hairline. I did it in a ‘pulling’ motion, and sometimes i think i accidentally pulled hairs with my fingers. I’m afraid of traction alopecia.. do you think it will grow back?
  3. I'm thinking about buying one and using it "just in case" I see too much toppik close to hair-line. Anyone has an experience maybe? thanks!
  4. A friend told me he thinks HT @ crown area requires much less skill then mid scalp and specifically hairline. Do you agree/partialy agree?
  5. thix is 2 days post op - I don't like the granulation was this hematoma/necrosis?
  6. how common are things like this? it happens in around 50% of surgeries? 30%..? My surgeon checked my scalp and said it's 'very healthy' (high elasticity) and good donor area, so he tried to dense-pack (I had almost 3000 grafts on a rather small area, as can be seen in the first image).
  7. while I feel I have good density, when I comb up/back my hair - when looking from "down"/inferior - it still seems like my hairline sticks too much. Any ideas how to deal with it? I've had my HT 5 months ago
  8. Seems like a major improvement between 5 and 6.5, no? i am currently at 5 months and knowing there’s going to be an improvement will make me very happy..
  9. Hi can you please elaborate what kind of improvement you've experienced between 12 and 18 months? thanks!
  10. this is MASSIVE improvement! also you have enviable hair characteristics and I'm sure it's looking much better from frontal view. do you use dermmatch/fibers? I think you could rock with it!
  11. Hi this specific area still lacks some density, and I'm not sure if there has been minor growth or non at all. However, this is me 1 week ago, and as you can see there's good growth worst case scenario - I'll fux these areas in my next HT for the crown
  12. Damp->Dermmatch->clay->toppik (with some gray to make it look less monochromatic!)->volumizer (holds everything together)
  13. Hi, yes I do have to remind that my starting point was (relatively) very good - this was my situation before transplant:
  14. 4 and a half months- density is increasing and I'm very happy. I'm styling my hair and I really like how it frames my face. Still not sure if/when I'm going to get my crown done though...
  15. This is a bit surprising coming from bicer.. Still nice growth🙏
  16. the photo in the first post? it's not 1 week post op, it is 1 month post op.. this is the 2 days post op:
  17. update: 4 months+4 days, still no growth in this area. and chance for a happy ending?
  18. This is a quote of Dr. Lorenzo. While this sounds so logical, I think it's not discussed/mentioned enough. I feel like if you have a hematoma (even a small 1X1 centimeter, or simply 30-40 grafts which have a lot of blood/clot around them) - it looks to me like in majority of cases you can kiss those follicles goodbye 🤕
  19. this is very important, and not mentioned enough I think. I've had my HT 4 months ago, and I have one area which was heavily bruised and crasted, and I'm not sure any follicles are going to sprout in it.
