  1. were you on consistent daily regiment of stabilizing medication between the two photos?
  2. in my opinion it is a combo. Front hairline tranplant. Diffused thinning. However for movies he either wears a piece for the back or makeup/toppik. It may be too much to upkeep every day at home so that why you see a bald crown.
  3. If you have the luxury to I guess you can go lower. Most hair transplant patients don't have enough grafts required over a lifetime to lower it that much
  4. Consult with Dr Nadimi from Chicago Hair Institute. She charges $10 per FUE graft. But also offer FUT in case you want to go that route. I like her results better and seems like it will be cheaper than Dr Mohebi.
  5. In my opinion, every restoration should be approached in a way that if for some reason patient never was able to have a follow up surgery it would still look Natural even if it is not a full head of hair. Since this is such an unnatural balding pattern it needs to be fixed ASAP. Can you rock a shaved look until then? I like your attitude. you are handling it well. Which clinic have you seen? Do you have a budget in mind allocated to fixing this?
  6. hello 100% shock loss/ different shaving style and will come back. Dr Bisanga is VERY good at extracting and not over harvesting. I mean top 1% good. You are too early post surgery, and you have a bad taste in your mouth about the way things transpired. But I can bet money that you will not look worse.
  7. Your hair looks great. look at the placement in the crown area. That is a lower density placement. What was your regiment in terms of medications? Did you start them right around the time or before the surgery. I feel a lot of your result (at least) in the crown area does not seem to solely be a by product of surgery, and to pass it off as it is, is being deceitful.
  8. you cant blame people. They are not experts. I would not know the difference between a $10 steak and a $200 piece of steak cause I am not a chef or food specialist. I just go for what i think is good value. unfortunately with hair transplant you are playing with an aspect of your facial feature which is a huge part of self identity. One mistake and you can end up with a lifetime of regret. Not to mention most repairs are hard to execute cause of the finite hair supply.
  9. Sorry to tell you but this is another "Turkey Special." Not only is this not 3300 grafts, Extracting 3300 grafts and saying a "weak donor area" is an oxymoron. As long as people dont do their due diligence surgeries like this are going to keep happening.
  10. Declaring conflicts of interest. Anyone (senior members) that get a free transplant or major discounts from a recommended forum doctor should have it declared in their signature.
  11. something about him did not look right to me. I did some researching. Dude does not have an active medical license in Arizona. Still practicing. What he is doing is "criminal". I would avoid this black market clinic.
  12. If you are requesting advise from other forum members, can you please make an effort to post good resolution photos and posts that people can comprehend.
  13. Cause her name may be hard to pronounce for non-thai people . so it is a "nickname" or alias.
  14. gynecomastia is often unilateral, or often one side worse than others. you wont feel any mass at the moment. It is a process (mass formation) that happens over months to years if left unchecked.
  15. this sounds like the pre stage to formation of gynecomastia which is one of the side effects of finasteride. This is some what "urgent" and a message to your doctor so he can assess you sooner and advise is needed. There is always options to get to see a doctor for urgent needs on a medication THEY prescribed. It is THEIR responsibility to you. personally i would cut it into half or drop it completely.
  16. We are all just playing arm chair quarterbacks here. No one was with you so we dont know. It would be very very rare for lidocaine toxicity to come at the start of surgery. Usually it happens more closer to the end. Unless someone made an error. LIdocaine toxicity and injecting lidocaine into a blood vessel is not the same. The later happens frequently in small doses and clears up on its own. There is a reason in USA and Europe a technician is not allowed to do anesthesia and only a physician can. Having said that whether toxicity or allergic reaction, has to be determined by the physician on site. So all our opinions dont matter.
  17. Your hairline right now does not look natural and terrible. Lowering it more will make it look worst.
  18. from google: Early symptoms are circumoral numbness, tongue paresthesia, and dizziness. Sensory complaints may include tinnitus and blurred vision. Excitatory signs, such as restlessness, agitation, nervousness, or paranoia, may progress to muscle twitches and seizures.
  19. most dental procedures use lidocaine. The oral sensation of numbness and tingling, you describe is typical of lidocaine toxicity.
  20. In your whole life, have you ever had any injections for dental procedures. Sounds weird. Was it lidocaine toxicity or lidocaine allergy. Glad you are safe though.
  21. It’s a flap not a hair transplant which is why the angles are the way they are. These procedures were common back in the 80s and 90s. Outdated.
