  1. it wasnt a keloid, i know this 100% it is just bad hypertrophic scarring
  2. im kinda worried if those techniques damage the surrounding hair in the donor in any way
  3. try using fin or dutastride topically maybe it wont give you the brain fog? also usually our bodies will reach some homeostasis i think if you went back on fin at a lower dose and titrate up after a month the mental sides could clear up
  4. anything below 1mm should be fine imo for the recipient but i dont think its going to benefit anything
  5. i think he also chooses his patients carefully and makes sure they have straight enough hair that he can use the choi pen and small punches to avoid damaging the grafts etc therefore would probably avoid afro patients as the curly root would be too easily damaged and wouldnt be able to take 3000 plus grafts a day without high transection rates
  6. by resurfacing do you mean dermabrasion?
  7. that might be true for most people but not all, i scarred really badly from fue at 0.7-0.8mm supposedely and have scars that protrude maybe 1-4mm from the surface of my skin therefore are 3d and not flat leading them to be very visible when short i found out when i had my head shaved for my transplant with mwamba i asked him if it was becuase of the poor work from the prior clinic but he told me it was becuase im african and therefore more prone to hypertrophic scarring rather than the surgeons negligence form the previous work, im using scar gel in hopes of flattening them but the resurfacing sounds very interesting
  8. even hieght which what you brought up can be influenced greatly by enviroment, nutrition, hormones, sleep etc not involving genetics and would you agree that for most men the ideal woman would be maybe 5'6 whereas for most woman the ideal man would be 6'2 now lets say the ideal of both genders have kids, the daughters could be 6'1 and the sons could be 5'8 which are in the range of both parents and completely plausible but they are no longer the ideal from either gender. that is what gender dimorphism is
  9. since you explained what you mean more i better understand your situation you more or less have to change the entire foundation of your facial bone structure as everything is angled downwards were you a mouth breather or had orthodontic intervention before 12 by any chance ?
  10. you need to be deformed to get a lefort 3 no ethical doctor is going to risk their medical license to do one for aesthetics, you already said your top 25% so even more unlikely. tbh if you havent tried fillers yet go for them first to see if you even want the surgery before you spend thousands as they are alot of complications as you already know so just for you see if changing your face so drastically is even worth it, while still being able to reverse them afterwards. i also need you warn you please dont do stuff with your cheek bone area there are so many nerves there the risk of going blind is high and the chance of nerve damage is almost unavoidable, if your body gets the bad reaction to the artificial bone which is common or doesnt grow into the "scaffolding" you will most likely get a chronic infection. in my opinion go with fillers first for that area the jaw and maxilla etc are better responders to osteotomy and we have way more qualified surgeons providing them.
  11. this is a sort of weird take i am not going to lie having attractive parents doesnt mean you will or wont be attractive furthermore it ignores gender dimporphisms and even goes into eugenics which is a whole other can of worms @Nobodyyou probably have some undiagnosed BDD,looks are important but you reach diminishing returns and even the best surgery wont match up with biology, you cant be as good looking as henry cavil etc even with the best surgeons and best outcome but you can always look better though however. the only 2 pieces of advice i can give you is that one :spending that much money to reach some idealised version of yourself is a pipe dream and a waste of time, just do what you can and be happy with what is good enough before it literally devours your entire life. and two: if you are going to commit to plastic surgery than make the surgeries be one that actually IMPROVE your standard of living and as close to natural as possible, jaw implants for example are purely aesthetic and do not change the underlying bone at all furthermore they can actually erode your bone depending on the material used through long term friction a much better alternative would be orthodontic procedures like double jaw surgery, MSE etc. the reason we are attracted to certain body features is that they are usually signs of genetic health and gender dimorphism therefore attractive people are usually healthier than unattractive people so since we are changing both function and appearance the overall outcome can be seen more as a net positive than just pure vanity as there are going to be improvements to your bite, breathing airway etc.
  12. You had an FUT? Im sorry it dudnt work out for you, hes donor management isnt great but majority of the afro hair people ive talked to who went with him seem to have good results so i geuss he is more of a specialist, probably the larger punch sizes he uses etc help with that
  13. bro that looks like atleast 2cm not 1cm lowering plus they significiantly extended your temple points i think for 3300 grafts the outcome is more or less upwards of 80% growth from the grafts so by that metric your transplant was a success and a touchup could get it to the final result you wanted but doesnt seem necessary
  14. if you are 100% sure you are not losing anymore hair than i dont see the problem but be conservative first time like 1000-2000 grafts max and realise you will be fighting hairloss for the rest of your life if you start this journey. also i wouldnt touch the crown just use concealer and stay on medication. the donor is below average
  15. if i were you i would try and go fuexpert clinic or whatever there name is i think they have like a 2 year waiting list by the time your 25 you will already be able to get a top tier transplant makes the most sense to me imo, i think most doctors might work on you as you have stable hairloss and already understand the possible repurcusions but at the same time waiting 1-2 years is really nothing
  16. im going to mwamba next month so this is a little concerning what do you advise?
  17. i think you got a good hairline already tbh but if you wanted to get work done look at the recommended surgeons list and avoid turkey
