  1. how many grafts? and what was the before looking like
  2. dr ziering is like that celebrity doctor who did tyga and tory lanez transplant? im surprised he would give a bad result especially from his pricing. it could be shock loss could you tell us more like how many grafts, time the procedure happened and before pics etc
  3. the main balding gene is on the X chromosome so you have a 50/50 chance of getting it from either your mums dad or your maternal grandmums dad. you can do a 23andme test and use the raw data on other gene sequencing sites with bigger databases for hairloss to be 100% sure but even with this theres a chance you still lose hair earlier than normal for a myriad of reasons or you have a lot of genes on the Y chromosome that also cause hairloss, the point is that balding is polygenic and therefore very hard to predict with 100% accuracy
  4. lol no of course not the laws in turkey dont hold the clinics accountable its hard enough suing a poor transplant in the west let alone turkey
  5. its crazy that every once in a while asli tarcan gets lucky and gives 1/100 patients a somewhat good result than everyone floods into their clinic thinking it will be them too i feel like we need to as a community share our experiences in video format and not just this forum as for some reason only the peopl going to hair mills want to record their results online
  6. im sorry to hear that man, atleast its all behind you now thank you for sharing your story
  7. @Gatsbydid you ever have FUE before this procedure? and also how many grafts did you use for the prior strip surgeries you had?
  8. you can use the e-visa application process online if you have a UK passport for india
  9. Nah it wouldnt be 'thinner' as you hair density is unchanged.
  10. go for hairline lowering and FUT if your a female imo, avoid FUE unless you style a fade on the back which is pretty rare for females anyway. you wont get thinning if you do the former
  11. what? the donor looks the same after thousands more grafts being taken? those eugenix guys are wizards, i notice some slight redness on the cheeks which im geussing is from the beard extraction are you still able to grow a full beard or did they have to take everything
  12. if you want to go to turkey because the surgeon you want happens to be turkish then fine but please do not try and filter just turkey becuase you think they are some great value hair tranplant specialist country and to answer your question £4000 and my experience was shit
  13. please stay away from turkey for beard transplant, beard transplants have an even higher risk of looking unatural compared to even normal hair transplants as they will try to implant 2, 3 or even 4 hair grafts follicles to your face which look extremely unatural and wont bother trying to get the directions correct it could be a huge disaster and how are you going to punch out thousands of holes on your literal face? it is not worth the risk at all avoid turkey completely go to a western doctor and save up the difference
  14. yh you need to find one willing to work on you as most dermatologists dont know about hair transplant scarring and very few people come to get them treated as they are more rare with modern FUE techniques
  15. i went to hair of istanbul turkey and have ridging and bumps etc that became apparent around 6 months post op so im assuming it is scar tissue, its not visible with short hair but i can feel the ridge with my fingers, if i knew this would happen i would have been using silicon sheets, aloe vera and tretinoin from 2 weeks post op, biggest regret of my life going to turkey for a HT especially when it still cost so much... you can find my posts look at my profile posting history. im going to get steroid injections to flatten everything out even more so hopefully i can atleast smp to get it to look normal. worst case scenario is surgical skin excision. for you i recommend atleast trying aloe vera etc to calm the skins redness down since the scarring is somewhat new you could get better results trying to treat it
  16. scars are pretty hard to treat im in a similar situation myself so i've been using tretinoin 0.1% daily and dermarolling 1.5mm weekly to try and fade it as much as possible, usually this bumpy look will fade a little after maybe like 3-6 years if you do nothing
  17. yh i know right its insane, there are many hundreds of millions of men (and some woman) with hair loss but only a few dozen decent surgeons
  18. yes you can do this, @mustang and @gimpoli have threads on this already but its more of a contingency for overharvesting
  19. dht is less of an issue the older you get and at age 60 unless you have very high testosetone i do doubt any hairloss you get is from hormones and is more likely just old age with the hair getting weaker like eveything else in the human body, even woman at that age commonly have thinning hair
