Thanks for this. Yes I’d be curious. Because one of my closest friends has amazing hair and his dad has good hair too but both his grand fathers were bald. So curious as to why he has no recession and uses no finasteride/minox etc. and other people I know have no family balding and they are bald

Where do men get the hair genes? You always hear moms dad if he is bald you will be but I see guys whose grandpa have great hair but they are bald or vice versa. So where does it come from in 99% of cases?

What are all your thoughts on stacking Oral Minox with Fin? I really don’t want to be on oral minox forever but it sounds like I’d have to. Fin/DUt I’m fine taking forever but maybe a link with stopping during sex idk I’ve seen that some place if trying to have a kid.

Hmmm. I think it was because he was the president for some board or something but years ago I remember looking up the best HT surgeons and many that people talk about were on there but he was too yet no one talks about him so I was just curious.

Thank you. Yes been on 1mg fin and feel it has halted my hair loss but worried it will lose effects over time. I’m 22 and don’t plan on getting an HT until 26-28 range so ideally I’d like to keep hair loss minimal until then. I hate topical minox due to skin sensitive so will never use that again but I’ve thought of adding oral minox I’m just scared I’ll have to take it lifelong and I’ll develop some skin condition or facial hair growth. I did just recently add .5mg dut once a week but who knows.

I use to believe he was the best. Is he good? I never hear anything about him in here.

How have you responded to oral min? Any face hair or weird skin related issues?

I started 1mg generic fin everyday since 21 I am 22 now. Will fin lose its effectiveness over time? Like when I’m 35 will it no longer be effective with prevent future balding? Is dut a better long term option?

Probably a dumb question but I’ve been prescribed it to whoever my Doc never said how long to take it. Is this a life long pill alongside dut/fin? Or just a year or so?

Oh okay ya then that would be even someone better to answer this. So naturally you are already chronically dry you don’t notice dut making that worse?

Anyone notice dry skin while taking fin or dut? I guess is it common or is that not a side effect of either?
