  1. Not cheap, but I imagine Dr Bisanga would be your best bet, there are quite a few fantastic results on here from guys with similar hair/hair loss.
  2. Agreed, with the right planning, 5k for front and mid scalp and 2-3 for crown should leave a patient happy. As you've said, and I don't see the point in leaving a comment saying it looks great even though I'd rather that than state the density is lacking, this is incremental progress at best. Certainly a lot of grafts seem to have been wasted. What's your plan? Donor looks alright still, do you have much facial hair?
  3. Is it that normal as ive seen a lot and usually you can't see through more than 1-2 cm max?
  4. Here we go bud, this is the exciting part. Donor looks good and normal at that length.
  5. Fantastic man, as someone mentioned a while back, would you consider SMP now to finish things off?
  6. Hair looking awesome man, thankyou for taking the time to do the comb through, really helps us guys understand transplanted density/expectations etc Not even 8 months yet as well, Bisanga is one great surgeon.
  7. Hi mate, can we get a pic of the crown as well?
  8. Christ thats one hell of a journey bud, hair loss is tough, no getting around that. Have you looked into SMP as a few others have suggested? Or go back to wearing a hair system?
  9. Wow, huge difference and that's in very harsh light! Happy for you!
  10. Looking great so far pal, other than the redness, the transplanted areas look very similar to non in terms of density, I think you should be very happy with this result. Doesn't look like you have any loss at the crown, is this correct? ANd do you have any before pics?
  11. Looks fantastic friend, I bet you must be happy! From experience, hairs do soften out and grow straighter over time, although if they don't who cares, you have hair! For the next update, if possible can you post a pic with hair up in direct sunlight?
  12. HAng in there buddy, half way there until the fun starts!
  13. What about Dr Zarev? Seems to specialise and is consistently getting results with high Norwoods.
  14. Wow, crazy transformation dude! Some things are worth the effort. Did you lower original hairline or just fill it in?
  15. Looking at those pictures Melvin, I'd say it does prove the 6 month rule. The patient there didn't get the best result, and the main differences seem to be lighting, hairstyle and length.( Obviously there's some further growth and maturation. I know you do this for a living, but personally I've probably looked now at maybe 500 results threads over the Internet, and have yet to see one look bad at month 6 and great at month. I'm talking hairline here btw not crown.
  16. Also agreed (latest pics don't have topic though). I would like to see his pics in harsh bathroom lighting, although there's no doubt he's had a terrific result.
  17. Lol but if they went ahead with this hairline, and rocked the fringe, how would they be able to see?!
  18. Yeah fair point, obviously it's hard not to given we all look at a ton of before and after pics and can't help but compare ourselves. Still even with fine straight hair I do think more could have been achieved in this case.🤷‍♂️
  19. I'm glad to hear you're in a healthy place psychologically with your hair buddy! I agree with you though, for 6k grafts I would expect more, especially given some of the transformations with the same amount on here. I think captain calico had a similar amount of grafts and his is transformational, while I'd say yours was incremental progress. Obviously the lightning doesn't help, it'd be good to see more pictures on threads with very harsh lightning just so we can get an idea about the true density to expect.
