  1. You'll have a redness along the transplanted area for a few months, so it would likely be noticeable. I'm unsure if certain makeups are available to hide this, that may be something worth considering. Regardless, I wouldn't put any masking product on it for the first month. You might be able to pull off having a fringe in the meantime (original hair covering the transplanted area) but wind WILL be your worse enemy. Hope this helps.
  2. Thank you for your honesty. Yes I understand the concerns; note that I went to elithair after doing enough research into them and I was content with their quality standard. Hoping this is the case! Thank you, this has helped give me reassurance.
  3. Thank you, Actually this was the first time combing it that way. Here it is combed the other way; In addition, here it is combed completely down; you can see one side is indeed thinner; I went to elithair in Istanbul. You can see before operation images in my progression log thread;
  4. Hi, 3500 grafts. I'd say a solid 2200 was place in completely bald temples. Would you happen to have an estimated percentage between month 7 - 10 of density improvement? I've been shedding hair recently which I find odd at almost 7 months, would this be related to it thickening? Thank you, compared to other results you've seen; would you say I'm a slow grower or thinner than typical?
  5. No idea, I was provided one by the clinic. You could try eBay, though I'm sure other members here have a better answer.
  6. Hi, I'm one week off from reaching the 7 month post operation milestone, it's exciting! However (like many clients), one side of my transplanted area is much thinner than the other. I was wondering what your thoughts are if we should expect much density improvements or are we close to the final results? When reviewing other users journeys, it appears that the hair only gets longer rather than denser from the 7 month mark. Thanks. (Left - fuller/denser | Right - thinner/less dense)
  7. A really large sun cap (fisherman's hat) is the only thing safe to wear for the first two weeks I'm afraid. Very important if you're outdoors!
  8. They probably didn't have a clue what to do. It's not every day a celebrity assaults another on live TV. Plus he was winning an Oscar this year.
  9. Nothing to worry about here, it was more relating to irritation when it comes to diluting. You haven't damaged ANY grafts.
  10. I mean.. personally I had several hairs that never shed and just kept growing. The hairs could be this, or even just remains from hair breaking off. Either way, expect a shed to hit hard. Check out my video at the 1 month mark to see how much shedding occurred; (Permission to share this video from Melvin)
  11. All's fine now. Have fun, just watch out for sun burn as you normally would.
  12. -Bump- Still experiencing around 20 hairs a day. I understand that people lose 100 hairs a day, but surely the telogen stage shouldn't occur on hairs so small; they're only an inch or two long. Also experiencing itching from time to time. Does anyone have any thoughts?
  13. Hey everyone, just a small update; I Created a YouTube video showcasing this transplant journey up to month 6! Feel free to check it out, see you all at 7 months. I HAVE PERMISSION FROM MELVIN TO SHARE THIS VIDEO.
  14. No one? Even if the experience has been positive. Unsure if it's related but itching also occurs.
  15. Ah I can see on my phone but not on my PC. I think I have a cache issue in this case. Absolutely, all images are here;
  16. Hi, hope you're all doing well. Apologies for making a new topic, it seems threads disappear rather quickly here. I'd just like to know if anyone else experiences shedding/hairs falling out in the transplanted area months after surgery? If so, please explain your experience. I'm six months post operation and hair is falling out from the area it was transplanted. We're talking 20-40 hairs per day. Also, one side is much thinner than the other, even after six months. Has anyone else also experienced this? Did it thicken up for them in the end? Really hoping to ease my conscious. I've attached images for reference.
  17. Hi, covid has absolutely 0 effect on your hair transplant results. Immune system and healing are separate things sir.
  18. Unless they're a reliable clinic, you don't. The best way to deem results is to look at actual photos sent by clients on forums such as this. Its possible for YouTube to be a hit and miss as most bloggers will be paid by the clinic for the review.
  19. I see, thank you for clarifying; what are your next steps sir? Are you planning for SMP or transplant?
  20. I hope so. However I do have thin hair as is. It's just concerning seeing a solid 40 hairs each time I get a shower too. I have recently used hairspray I wonder if that's cause of concern. My scalp has also become more itchy than it has been.
  21. I was just looking at your topic, noticed a lot of your hairs that fell out were from your crown area. It looks like your hairline didn't thin though. I didn't get any work done in the crown, from my understanding the crown is more difficult to keep.
