  1. Dutasteride really leads more often to sides. that is why some Drs do not even wangt to prescribe it.
  2. I do not think much of ket and alpecin shampoo in terms hair loss prevention or hair growth
  3. We need more pics to estimate the grafts count. The pics show some thinning which is hidden by the hair combed back. Also taking medicine for life may not be a choice. One may have to come off the medicine for one reason or another (e.g. sides or family)
  4. in my opinion 25 is just very young for HT. just think about what will happen at 35, 45, 55....Long way to go.It is often overlooked when you are young. Now, in term of grafts, I think a good 2K are necessary., even if you go conservative. The hair is combed back and kinda hides thinning area. (look at the right side).
  5. There are always uncertain factors with HTs. Generally, the uncertainty and risks are greater when you are so young. It is always better to delay the HT a few years. - In time your hair loss will likely progress regardless of the medication, and you will need further follow-on surgeries. There is also the possibility, that you have to get off the medication in the long term for some reason or the other (side effects or loss of efficiency). People like to disregard the latter but it can and has happened. - HTs are all about supply and demand. However, at age 25 it is kind of difficult to predict where the hair loss is going and to make a certain estimate of your donor capacity. There is no such thing as a safe donor. I am not telling not to have a HT.Only you can decide but you should be fully informed. You can book some consultations with reputable Drs and ask them the right questions. A HT Forum should not be the basis for having a HT or not in my opinion.
  6. Does it bother you a lot? you seem to be NW2-NW3, it is not bad. before doing HT, you need to understand the limitations of medications, that you will need follow-up surgeries and the risks of getting a HT at such young age. it is your decision but I recommend you do more research.
  7. I think oral Minox can be an effective treatment no question. However, Finansteride is the more proven treatment long term. Unfortunately, hair loss is a life long progressive comdition and that is especially true for people with crown loss (even when you are 40). I believe takiing medication is personal choicebut it become more relevant when undegoing a HT
  8. medicaton is recommended because of hair loss in crown, preferrably Finansteride.
  9. For some, the genes will over power the drugs especially those with aggressive hair loss
  10. Not every good surgeon has ample independant reviews online. That is what I said. And that is correct. That was a general comment and I did not recommend having surgery with any Dr.
  11. is not the point of a HT to not use fibers and topic anymore?
  12. I do not know if Linkov is any good. But I know for a fact that what you are saying is wrong
  13. Honestly I prefer the hairline drawn in the first post, more conservative and will age better. You hair looks decent for 40 though.Only you can decide. You do seem to be a fitting candidate. Although there might be risk of shockloss for the frontal third. When I approached 40, I had the same thoughts. So I would give it 1 or 2 year to reflect on whether this is really what you want or kind of a midlife phase you are going through. As somebody here said this is lifelong.
  14. I guess it is a matter of personal taste. Personally, I prefer the more conservative approach. But as your over 40 and on medication the more aggressive approach which you prefer was reasonable for you.
  15. Frankly, I am not a fan of doing such small procedures at such a young age. At least, you did it the right way, conservative procedure and being on Finansteride.
  16. I always like the hairline designs of this Dr, looks very natural. Unlike for a ,lot of othr Drs. Also alway like the clear pics of his patients
