  1. Are you using any meds to preserve what you have? The work looks good, happy growing!
  2. Just out of curiousity, OP, why is your main objective to at least keep that horseshoe? ๐Ÿ˜ณ I mean if that's the echelon, surely shaving would be better? ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  3. I wouldn't know him either, not a lot of results from McGrath here. However I've been following this hair loss advisor guy Youtube celebrity/musician called David DiMuzio, and he had a phenomenal transformation via a few McGrath surgeries. What I find interesting about McGrath: - He's using the old "outdated" minigrafts for added density (just behind, hairline would still consist of refined FUs). - Among the very few surgeons advocating and offering exosomes and posting a few great results with it. - Prescribes a combination of finasteride, oral minoxidil and biotin that he compounds himself to his patients.
  4. Good luck and happy growing! Just started following your thread, looking forward to updates. By the end of this, you will Un-GeneTakavic yourself to a young luscious-haired Saul Goodman!
  5. Very interesting question and imo it is partially influenced by the post surgical trauma. Every hair has a different growth cycle, so even if you'd be "unlucky" enough to get the longest napping ones, there'd be still some eager ones popping out after 100 days - although some people would report early growth from 2 months. So I think there's multiple factors involved.
  6. Wow, I'm lost for words. Being such a hyper-responder it looks like you no longer need surgery. Congrats, man.
  7. That's not my transplanted hair, I've shed them, some natives are growing slower than others. Yeah, I had a smaller procedure of 1200 grafts. I'm not sure if this is how a donor should look like after 3000 grafts in 2 procedures. If you haven't shed your transplanted hair, they'll be stunted and will start growing once the others will pop out. Happened to me on my first HT, was a non-shedder then. I'm more concerned about the donor right now.
  8. Took a photo of my donor today as I completely forgot to check that since surgery and it literally broke me. Looks completely battered. And this is under very favorable lighting, I'm afraid to show the ones under bright lighting. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  9. Yeah, looks like it. Probably they're the most miniaturized ones. ๐Ÿ˜•
  10. Damn. I don't see how your remaining hair's miniaturization process would accelerate though. ๐Ÿ˜• Shock loss is entirely different, the affected hairs are just shed. Anyway, looking at your post ops, the density you got is insane, and given that Konior is a magician with his lateral slit method even with low to moderate density HTs, if everything grows back to you (I pray it does ๐Ÿ™) you should have a stellar result. โ˜บ๏ธ Looking forward to your next update! BTW, have you given a topical antiandrogen some more thought?
  11. I too am grateful for this community, made some real good friends here. When this corona shit is over and @Captain Haddock comes over and @BorisJohnson thinks it's safe to come out from the basement, we should defo meet for a beer in London (beer is estrogenic so it's good for the hair) and talk about what hairstyle to adopt for our George Lucas hairlines.
  12. Oh, wow, cheers bro. Never though of mixing it, yes, it is kind of annoyingly thick. What does your mum think of olive oil? ๐Ÿ˜
  13. BTW, how is your hair growing so fast? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I take oral minox, MSM and use castor oil and still can't grow it as fast as you.
  14. I agree, you can already see the outline of a great result. ๐Ÿ˜ Wish you happy growing, Ross. Hang in there, brother.
  15. Thanks for the update btw. You're well ahead, scalp has healed remarkably well.
  16. Now you definitely look like John Travolta when he was balding. ๐Ÿ˜ Give another 6 months you'll look like when he was Danny on Grease. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. You can always check the recommended surgeons (top right corner of the website) those are the ones with actual patient results. You can't go wrong with any of them. But a more tailored response of the clinics in your region, I would seriously consider the following: Hattingen (Switzerland), HDC (Cyprus), BHR (Greece), or if you don't mind travelling a bit further, Belgium or Spain. Feriduni, Mwamba, Lupanzula, Devroye, Couto, Vila, De Freitas, Lorenzo. All these surgeons are well affordable imo, ranging from 3 to 6 EUR per graft.
  18. I understand that, but a hair transplant is a life changing event, for better or worse and you shouldn't roll the dice. Hattingen is not far, you could go there, never mind the language barrier, your English is decent but even if it wasn't, if you go to a top surgeon chances are he'll understand completely what you want if you write an email of your expectations, goals, no need for an eloquent conversation when you're actually there. Price is not a deterring factor, you don't need a lot of grafts and you're pretty much on the safe side given you age and MPB level. Go with the best.
  19. At 43 a NW3 is great. I'm assuming the progression of your MPB is really slow, you're the ideal candidate for a HT. Not to mention you'd look about 5 years younger if you have it done right, so go for it. Can you share pictures? Honestly if price is not important for you, why not go to a top surgeon? I'm curious why this specific surgeon, since you said you're not living in Serbia anyway. Also, I think in your position you could easily do a 2K HT to achieve good density in the front and not worry about another one for many years to come. It's your first HT, so I'm assuming your donor is good? I'm saying this because I was also a NW3 (albeit a very diffuse one) and had a 1200 grafts first procedure and it just wasn't enough.
  20. Bumping this thread, just curious if you've given surgery some more thought or already underwent one or had some great results from treatment alone. ๐Ÿ˜
  21. Thanks, buddy. You're a bit ahead of me. ๐Ÿ˜ Did you suffer any shock loss of natives?
