  1. Amazing!! This looks like a 1 year result. Congratulations. I agree with the other comment, you cant stop now haha. Gotta go for that crown. But only if its done at fuexpert again ofc
  2. 4 and a half months I decided to do and update now because of a new course of events. I had a surgery at my donnor in order to remove a small fat tumor (nothing serious at all). I checked this surgery with Couto himself last time I was in his clinic and he gave me Green light to run the surgery. So since I shaved yesterday all my donnor in order to match the hair lenght, right after they removed my suturation points, I thought It would be a good moment to share the donnor shaved at 1 and 2 mms Day after surgery: Today: Today front: As you can see the temples are growing at a decent speed. Although the middle part where I had already density problems its going slow . I wont jump into any conclusions yet, its soon. Plus Couto told me that the middle part may go slower so lets wait. I am concerned though about the donnor. I Hope this recent surgery didnt kill many grafts there, but still is soon to know. I am cleaning the area as I was told and so far It has been going good.
  3. Im sorry to bring It to you but so far its the same team, same number of parients/week and I believe there is no intention to make the team bigger. Its Dr. Couto, Dr Esteban (extraction) and Dr. Torres (helping with implantation). Same as before
  4. Rosa mosqueta from crust removal at day 10 untill second prp (first after surgery) qt day 30. I continued with aloe vera about 2 weeks more or so
  5. Ok then I guess Couto and I are wrong. Yes you are right, continue the enlightment in this forum please.
  6. In spanish "cirugía capilar de reparación" means repair hair surgery. Here is the official document from the clinic: And the final result, although you chose the best pic, is this as well: Touch ups are normally done in a small area were survival was not the best, my "touch up" was done in all the hlc's implantation area (plus temples ofc): that being said, let everybody think what they want! I dont know why people have this annoyment about me having the freedom to share my thoughts here about the fact that in my opinion, 3157 grafts for an area that was not very big and dindt got the best survival was too much...! Had I got the 50grafts/cm2 density hlc works with I wouldn't have need all those grafts implanted there. I know I didnt have a dissaster done and ended up better than before after all. Couto himselft told me that although density wasn't the best, I didnt had a dissaster after all, and that the previous surgery wasn't a bad one, and I agree!. But I wasnt super happy neither with my final result, nor with hlc's attitude when I told them. This is the last thing I will say about that surgery and that clinic. Have nice one.
  7. the consultation was free. Yes they will probaly tell you to go the day after the surgery to check how everything went after first night and then about 2 or 3 days after to do the first cleaning, and at day 10 to remove the crusts. In my case this was all done by Couto himself.
  8. Wow nice to hear! Such an interest thing yo know. How was the price there?
  9. Woow this is the first time I hear about any doctor in Thailand. But it looks very good!. I guess if you compare him with doctors like Freitas is because you did your research. Everything looks very good, and you are looking great at the 4 month mark. Im sure you will get a full head of hair in a few months. Keep us updated!
  10. YESSS Sir! congratulations. Now lets wait and be patient haha. Its a good chance in case u are not medicated to medicate yourself and use this year you have ahead to improve your condition and therefore need less grafts for the surgery.
  11. BTW although some people claim you are too young for doing this surgery... I just couldnt disagree more haha. You had too much hair loss for being that young and you dont deserve to live these early 20s with insecurities and being all over self-conscious about your hair. Specially having there the options of improving it through a hair translplant. Truth is I think it would be bad choice to run a hair surgery at your age without being medicated but if you have been 1 year on finasteride then it should be fine. I think it would be a mistake to quit medication that being said. Enjoy your new happy life and new gorgeous hair man. 😃
  12. Yeah man haha I agree. I never called my first surgery a dissaster. Specially if we compare to the actual dissasters we have around. But I dont know if maybe I dont express myself correctly or if people dont understand. I was kinda dissapointed because we used to many grafts IMO for an area that was small and didnt got the BEST survival. Thats It. And then ofc because of the clinic attitude when I told them. But definitely ended better than before hehe. Now even more 😊. And lets wait another 8 months and see 😁
  13. day 120 Alright! This starts to really fill in! I had last week my 3rd and probably last prp at the NEW AND GORGEOUS CLINIC. OMG, Couto is at his 60s (although looks like he is in his late 40s) and just opened a new luxurious clinic that blew my mind. This man has no intention of retire haha. So far I am very happy. Couto is the BEST doctor when It comes to hair transplant I have ever met. He has huge knowledge and passion. Lets attach the pics: first proper light and wet hair: Now sunlight and dry: De density is yet missing OFC, but WOW. I see myself 1 month ahead compared to my previous surgery. I couldnt expect to have his growth at month 4.
  14. This looks good! From my point of view the design is too conservative. but maybe you didnt wanted more or you couldnt afford an agressive hairline. Anyways as procedure looks excellent. If you want now to go more agressive in those temples then cool. im sure Ferreira Will do a great job there.
  15. month 3 + 1 week Happy new year everyone! First of all: I know this pics dont have the best lighting but still I can see some progress. I am definitely a fast grower at this point. Maybe those PRP kicked in haha.
  16. 2 months and 20 days MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY The best present Santa gave me today is seeing my big progress from just 2 weeks ago: and donnor: I got a haircut about a week ago and my barber told me that he has seen a few hair transplants before but this is the first time he notices no balding patches on the donnor. And thats crazy considering that still I may have yet some shock loss there. I couldnt see it by the mirror my barber gave to check the back, but here on these pics I can see some. Still, no big deal. Probably this will improve. Gotta say that so far in my previous surgery I felt that this point where I am now It was reached about the 3 month and a half mark. This makes me happy because I cant think but good things. Merry Christmas and Happy new year!
  17. Im sure many people here will say I hate HLC because of my experience with them but I cant just shut up here and say this is a good result. It is not. I am sorry for being this honest. If u told me u paid like 1,25€/graft and used like 1750 grafts for this result, then I would say ok yes great investment. But reality is u used almost 3k grafts from an already límited donnor in order to cover a small area and even then survival was not good. Not terrible but definitely not good either. This is about 7000€ spent and about 1250 grafts at least that didnt survive. Probably you see It as a good case because It aint as bad as ur previous one, I'll give u that, but It is not a good one that is for sure. I would go to Bisanga since you mention him for a last repair and maybe lowering hairline and closing temples just a little, while still being conservative (you cant go very agressive after these 2 surgeries).
