  1. Awesome, will be following your case closely, please keep us updated!
  2. Could you ask about how implanting donor hairs in the same region as native hairs affects the native hairs? Could the native hairs suffer from trauma and end up thinning more quickly?
  3. Great video and much needed message, only decent HT I've seen was MGK's, and even then, he probably uses concealers like Toppik at events.
  4. Looks great, you chose a great surgeon. To be honest I wouldn't mind having your pre-op hair. How does having grafts implanted between native hairs in the recipient affect the native hairs? Is it possible that they can suffer from trauma and thin faster?
  5. Looks great so far @Yondu, please keep us updated, eagerly awaiting your 12 month update!
  6. No one is doubting the quality of the procedure or the pay off. Not everyone has 25k EUR to spend on a HT no matter how much they'd like to. Price is a factor most people consider and that's probably the reality for almost any cosmetic procedure.
  7. Hattingen are transparent with their prices and list everything on their website: http://www.hattingenhair.com/en/hair-transplant-prices/prices/ Looks like this one cost between 23k - 25k EUR
  8. This is a brilliant result. It looks great, even under the sun. But could someone from the clinic comment on the difference in thickness between the front and mid scalp? Was this due to more grafts being implanted in the front or is the hair in the mid scalp just lighter/blonder?
  9. The virtual consultation I had with Dr.Muresanu was excellent. You immediately feel that he's an ethical surgeon with the patient's best interests at heart. He's straight forward as well which I appreciated. He will not try to sell you a surgery, if anything, during my consultation he was hesitant to perform surgery on me and asked me to explore other avenues (medication, topicals) first.
  10. It depends on your definition of perfection, for me that would be the hair I had when I was 15/16. I remember the thick luscious locks I had at that age and the reality simply is that no surgeon in the world can replicate that because 1) no surgeon transplants at a density of 90 FU/cm2 2) no patient has a donor good enough to return their scalp to its 15/16 year old self esp if they're already >NW2 3) Any ethical surgeon will explain to you that a hair transplant gives you the illusion of density, because I think max density they can implant is up to 40-50 FU/cm2. So IMO, hair transplants are absolutely not perfect.
  11. Amazing, but also lucky he had so many grafts available to make up for multiple failed surgeries.
  12. Between 9-12 months there seems to have been a lot of progress towards the back of his head, where grafts were placed just in front of his crown, was there a lot of growth there or does it look like that because of lighting differences in the photos? Front looks great.
  13. It's amazing to see the punching and extraction process up close, especially at a top class clinic, thanks for posting this.
  14. What are the factors, other than number of grafts, that determine a great result? E.g. You could have 2 NW3s go to the same clinic, and both get 3k grafts and one comes away with a brilliant, dense result and the other comes away with a thin, poor result.
  15. Hattingen seem to have a knack of producing these really dense/thick results. Really amazing to see.
  16. Dude, it's good to have you back. You're one of the most charming and positive hair transplant reviewers I've seen, I was wondering what had happened and why you stopped posting. Glad to see you have a good result.
  17. I noticed Hattingen is not on that list, but also a place you might want to consider, they have some nice results including a couple of patient reviews on this forum. Other than that I think the others I can think of (Bisanga, De Freitas, Bicer etc) are all on the list.
  18. That's looking good under the sun too. This is incredibly exciting as it's supposed to keep maturing for the next few months!
  19. Indeed looking to be thickening up now. Very nice. How does it look outside, under sunlight?
  20. I'm in favour of honest and constructive feedback. Hair loss is a painful experience and affects all of us, not just those posting reviews but those commenting as well. What I'm not in favour of is disingenuous and biased positive feedback especially on threads with high rep clinics simply because the surgeon there is well known. It's misleading and useless for both the original poster and prospective patients. That being said, I agree that negative and unconstructive comments have no place in this forum either.
  21. ah yes, I have seen this one, this is a good result, but what does one expect from over 2.5k just on the hairline? My mistake for not specifying but it would be useful to see NW3-NW5 patient results.
