  1. I honesty think it's worth it for the donor area if you have the money. It makes it so the back of your head feel less bumpy since it healed better. Also better idea if you eventually decide to say screw it and start shaving your head, so FUE scars will not be visible
  2. 1. Yes, and unfortunately I did drink a little... regret that a lot of swelling occurred in the days after 2. Yes... but I wasn't trying to interrupt him. He was cutting me off. He's great and has good advice, but I'm getting old I need my hair back and a girlfriend eventually
  3. If you want the best Acell+PRP for treatment with healing/growth, go with Esteworld. They're the only ones in Turkey with "real" acell because they have an actual licence to obtain it, all the other clinics in turkey might be not genuine Acell. I have new hair growing near the front of my scalp, it's incredible, and I'm not doing anything else besides fin and laser cap atm. Check my thread in the results forum, just bumped it.
  4. So here's a couple pics I've found a few days after the ht... will I need another ht, or the density looks decent enough? Will I need to be also using hair fibres/concealers to make it look more fuller in the end?
  5. Hey buddy, I'm just curious on your results now in 2020? I also went to Esteworld and did Acell+PRP (3500g's)
  6. So study shows the product works, but how does it compare to minoxidil? Minoxidil also works and you can get it for a lot cheaper than Spectral DNC-N, so if it's not that much better then it's not worth it There's so many other products out there... there's also Trioxidil, but you can't even find any mention of it on forums anywhere
  7. Hey I'm surprised that you've decided that you'd want to go to a different clinic than Esteworld where you got your first one done? You think they didn't do a good job? That's where I got mine done also, I think it's alright... well, maybe too early for me to tell yet
  8. So I sent you the pics via private message since I'd like feedback. I'm not comfortable with posting more pics yet but will put more up later for sure. I'd like some more people to private message me and send pics out to get more feedback please. I told them to take only 2500 grafts and not over harvest but they still took 3500 which kind of upset me. Exactly 3 weeks have passed. One thing I like is that there is not that much shock loss in the transplanted area which is probably due to the extra Acell and PRP treatment, although I think there's a bit more shock loss now in the donor area sadly. Definitely shedding many hairs in the shower though, which I shower every 2nd day. (Should I shower every day?) Also I use the laser helmet for 20 min every 2nd day.
  9. So PRP i'm considering thinking about possibly doing at home at some point after spending a considerable amount of research, but not a hair transplant... doing a HT at home is crazy, and this guy didn't even do it right
  10. Hmm why should I? If you could give me good feedback then sure. Maybe later, sorry... I was thinking I'll probably need to do beard grafts to fill in the crown though, that's for sure. I don't wanna show pics of the crown now cuz it looks kinda ugly with no hair
  11. Did you do PRP at all? I got that done also, crossing my fingers... and I've been holding off on gym, which is going to make it hard for me get back in shape later on Thanks for the update
  12. I'm looking at the donor area and it is honestly looking like it would not even be a good idea to do another transplant... I'm even scared to share pics. My balding is so bad that i am not sure that this was a good idea to do the HT now
  13. I was lucky to get a hair transplant early this month before the pandemic really started
  14. Hey buddy, I went to Esteworld also. I'm just curious how's the results now? One thing I like is they use a smaller .6mm punch so scars are smaller than others
  15. Did the transplant with extra acell+prp injections at Esteworld after I was convinced by an Esteworld representative who visited me in my city, Toronto Canada. 3500 grafts transplanted everywhere, except for the crown which they told me to come back in a year to do for another session together with another Acell+PRP. Took pics of how it looks 11th day after, finally washing most of the scabs off, both in front and behind lighting. I think I'm mostly happy with the result. My head was mostly bald, now I have actual hair on my head and a hairline. I want to grow it out long enough to rock a man bun eventually, which might even hide the crown enough that I don't need a HT there. What's everyone's thoughts? What could i do next to help regrowth? I'm kinda scared to post pics of the donor area guys, I just want some thoughts on the transplanted area first of all. I'm using a laser helmet and also taking 1mg of fin a day. Honestly I'm glad I did it now, since it's a perfect time before the borders closed down and I can go into hiding while I'm patient with my hair growing out, nobody seeing me since I'm in legal quarantine, not going outside although I am a bit scared I might have got the corona but it's worth it
  16. Hey, I am a new poster here hailing from Toronto, Canada, 34 y/o. I am looking for a hair transplant with the best price:performance ratio, but keep in mind i have no job and very low on money now as i have used up a lot of my savings travelling. I have already booked my flight into Turkey on March 10, so I'm available during those dates starting the 11th, but I'm good at finding cheap flights all around Europe so if there's a place that can do better for the most inexpensive rate then I'm down, I have time off but again it's super last minute since it's like in a couple weeks. It's hereditary, both my brother and father are bald and my bro shaves his head too, but I want my head to not look bald and be able to grow it out again. I am currently on Finasteride as directed, for almost a year roughly. I have found some turkish places, e-mailed them and got back quotes from them. Ideally, I'd like to spend around 2500 euro but willing to go as high as 3200. Most of them say I'd need a 2nd surgery later on, and I'm fine with that. I think all of them include PRP, it's something I feel I also gotta do anyways, right? I'm surprised they mostly want cash only. Here's a list: - Arenamed: "According to your hair profile, approximately 4500-4700 grafts can be transplanted and with these graft quantitiy frontal part of your hair will get natural and dense appearance until middle part. From middle to back top will be covered as much as your donor area allows. It is not possible to cover all the areas in 1 session. You may consider another session only for the crown area after 1 year." +PRP - Transport/Accom+All Inclusive Price - $1400 USD - Dr Zekeriya Kul: "3000 Grafts from your donor and that’s maximum, any more is damage. Donor area allows only that much." ... He sent me a pic of the coverage area which is kinda sad... only covers the center island, which still leaves the back bald and the front two left/right sides bald which means i've gotta comb over. .. "Additionally vertex also crown area is different than the other area’s because It is fed by a vein and we must implant on vertex more then we need to receive a good result[...]" Also maybe no PRP? - 1 euro per graft, so 3000 Euro - Transmed: Originally quoted 2000-2500 grafts in whatsapp, then wrote 2800-3000 grafts in an e-mail. +Laser, PRP, Ice grafts. "25 yrs of experience" - I bargained down to 3200 Euro - Dr. Tugrul Maral: Provided a range 4000-6000 grafts as a wide range, unlimited graft transplants until desired results. +PRP. - 1700 Euro - Dr Ilhan Serdaroglu: Range of 3500-3800 grafts. Says he's fast, can do up to "4300 grafts in 2-2.5 hours" .. gave me a very long, complicated tl;dr of the procedure that might be taken from a template stock e-mail he uses, idk. Mentions a 2nd transplant session in 6 months but doesn't say if I have to pay extra for it? .. "4500 operations, 17 yrs of experience." 3500 Euro + 150 extra for PRP. (Outside my budget, i'd need to try bargain if anything.) - Esteworld: "You won't have too much grafts. We will fill the top area." pretty vague whatsapp msg, didn't get email yet. - $2250 USD - Estevien, Dr. Esin Egilmez: Estimate range of 3500-4000 grafts. "70-80% coverage and lower hairline, could even maybe do up to 6000 grafts" "4 days" +PRP - $1500 USD It's kind of looking like Dr. Tugrul Maral may be a better, cheaper option? Dr. Esin Egilmez looks kinda good too... Ideally I wanna spend around $2k and that's it... i'm not rich, but I don't wanna fk up my head, i'm a fashionable guy and maybe want long hair, i don't even remember what that's like anymore:( pls help me out fam!
