Eugenix related question (US based)
baldbandito replied to BaldingEagle1's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Hey mate, I didn’t fly from USA but here is my experience. 1. medical visa, it took less than 48 hours to hit my inbox, cost was $80 USD or so. You could probably enter on a tourist visa if you wanted to save money. 2. The hotel and this was arranged by Eugenix. I brought a SIM card with a data pack at the airport (Airtel) and rung the driver via WhatsApp to determine his location. You will be swarmed by taxibros upon leaving the airport so please be extra sure you find the right guy or you will be ripped off. Classic scam in these countries. 3. I stayed for 7 nights so the clinic could undertake the first head wash. During this time i literally did nothing but chill, eat and watch movies in the hotel. It was hella boring but I didn’t want to risk the grafts getting damaged an don’t regret it. good luck and feel free to send me a PM if you have any further questions -
Is there any hope for me?
baldbandito replied to SoSoz's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
There is always hope! Oral min won’t bring back your temples but surgery will. However, as you’re only 24 I would not, under any circumstances, recommend surgery. And please avoid PRP as commented above - total scam in my opinion. -
>80% of results by 6 months prove me wrong
baldbandito replied to jxlegend's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Not taking medication. However everyone’s circumstances are different. If you’re a young person getting a HT then I’ll say medication is essential. If you’re older with a stable / established hair loss pattern you potentially can get away with not taking it. -
Complication after Hair transplant surgery
baldbandito replied to Alexx's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Hang in there my man! You’re 2 months post surgery- pimples/ shock loss /discomfort is totally normal. Give your hair time to recover and trust the process. Please don’t obsess- you’ll be looking amazing in 1 year. Trust me. Peace. -
>80% of results by 6 months prove me wrong
baldbandito replied to jxlegend's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Strong disagree! Me and my flatmate buzzed our hair in 2020 over the Covid lockdowns. It took my mate 3 months to achieve density and me 5 months. This is what makes hair restoration such a tricky business. everyone has different genetics. hair loss / growth is unpredictable. Some grow hair fast and lose it fast. others, such as myself, are glow growers. Search the forum - you’ll find men who who look amazing at 6 months but then lose it all at 2 years for whatever reason (we all know the reason..) and others that look sketchY at 6 months but achieve density at 1 year, and hold it. This forum wouldn’t exist if hair loss / restoration was predictable and followed a uniform timeline. Best wishes and good luck. -
When I was in a relationship last year I took my usual dose of fin (1.25mg EOD) with 5mg cialis/ tadalifil daily. No sides. Without the cialis I feel I could only get 80% hard compared to 150% with the med good luck.

Bro just own it! Before my surgery I was panicking more about this than the actual procedure, literally looking for any and all excuses to give people if they asked my why my head was shaved /red. Ended up front footing it and telling my colleagues I had a HT - everyone was so supportive, kind and curious. We need to end the stigma - its 2022! Good luck

Scheduled & ready for Eugenix...expectations?
baldbandito replied to general-etwan's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Good luck man! Looking forward to following your journey. -
Give it time and trust the process! Don’t obsess. I legit thought my hair was in a worst state at 6 months after starting fin and considered quitting. After one year I reassessed my initial photos and found I had improved on baseline. Now I’m at 3 years and I’ve maintained and even regrown some hair in the crown .. I still shed a decent amount of hair in the shower. But so does my girlfriend and she’s not losing her hair! Play the long game and enjoy your life

Travel to Eugenix from the US
baldbandito replied to SLA's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
yip- that will be fine! I travelled to India in July without knowing about the air suvidha requirement. Ignorance on my part but as I had already submitted all my personal deets including vax info applying for the medical visa i didn’t think anything else was required. Found out at the airport so submitted the form online via my phone 1 hour before boarding the flight. Arrived in Delhi- immigration stamped my passport and let me through. Edit the proof of vax I submitted was just a screenshot of an email received from my govts health department… -

Thanks Adrian! my plan is to buzz it down in a few weeks. In hindsight, I should have bit the bullet and gone for the full shave. Not to worry -

Fine Ginger NW3 - Eugenix - 2,800 grafts - 8 July 2022
baldbandito replied to baldbandito's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Thanks Gary! I’m actually not sure but will be guided by the clinic. I’m wanting to keep it conservative as 1 it’s my first transplant 2 I’ve had a high hairline since birth and 3 I’ve always worn my hair long with a fringe. -
Hello friends, I will be having a HT at Eugenix Delhi on 8 July 2022. My surgery was originally scheduled for June 2020, but C19.... The clinic has estimated 2,800 grafts. I have been taking generic finasteride 1.25mg p/d since October 2019 and have included pics from the day I started taking the medication + latest pics taken today (sorry for the low res..) I'm fairly certain the medication has at the very least maintained / slowed the progression of my MPB. I will update the thread again next month and look forward to sharing my journey with you all. Thanks to everyone in the community - I have been a "lurker" for a couple of years now and have learned so much! Cheers, Ben

It's a Great Day For Aussies!!!
baldbandito replied to Gatsby's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Go well @Gatsby! was nice to hear you on the bald truth last weekend. -
Once New Zealand opens up to the world I will be rescheduling my surgery with Eugenix which was suppose to take place in June of 2020. Does anyone know how long they're booked out for these days? I have seen some good results from Dr Laorwong of Thiland who is featured on this forum and kindly met me virtually for an online consultation last year - might consider him if India are still on the banned travel list next year.... Time will tell. Luckily 2 years of Fin has halted my loss so I'm not feeling as desperate as I was in 2019 when I began my research. I look forward to sharing my journey soon. Cheers.
