  1. Hello man, You need first to identify the roots of your insecurity. From my expericen humans are not very complicated, for a man confidence issue is usually physical appearance or social status. If for example the roots of your insecurity is a low wage or a bad job obviously HT is not fixing your problem. As you said your problem seems to be your external look. And obviously for this HT wil be a big benefit specially with women. OF COURSE now I am more confident with my black new hair compared with my sparse gray hair I had before the surgery. And with a modern haircut I look with ease 5 years younger. How can I not be happy ? Hair is important BUT is not the only thing. You need to work aswell on other aspects of your externals not only the hair. A bit ashamed to admit I learned unfortunately relatively recently how to dress properly to look good and I am 40. I used a somehow a sport style since few years ago and this was harmfull. The way you speak is important aswell to boost your confidence, you need to work and train on this if you know you have issues. So to summarize you need to work on yourself continously to boost and keep your confidence high in my opinion but hair transplant (if made properly) can be a solid beginning.
  2. I am "buchered" aswell in a different way. I still have some grafts somewhere under my skin in recipient area that are creating bumps, inflammation and pain. Those might become cists if unlucky. The hair restauration results are not particulary very good at 4 month but there is an improvement. I admit donor area seems ok. I am in the same situation and willing to write bad review about them (based on written facts) in all available forums at 12 month mark. The lawyers I talked to are reluctant in my case to help me suing them due to not enough direct evidence to point without any doubt towards a medical error yet but things are developing as we speak. I need an advice, why are you so unconfortable to tell the name of the clinic ? You are afraid they are suing you for bad publicity or what ?
  3. "To the hell and back" I had a transplant with complications but surprise...at 2.5 month transplanted hair started to grow alongside my existing hair. At 3 month mark I am already a bit fine with the result. I mean worst case scenario - if that's all, this is not a failed transplant. I estimate 50%-60% from transplanted hair popped up already. On the bad side I feel I lost a bit of my native hair in recipient area... but it's hard to say for sure. I need to add that I had around 2500+ grafts surgery + a decent amount of existing hair in recipient area. P.S. sorry for lack of pictures, I will add everything at 6 month mark.
  4. I made one on donor site only at 2 weeks and finally a proper full haircut at 3 month mark. Naturally on recipient site hairstylist used only scisors.
  5. What about topical finasteride 0.25% that you put on scalp minoxidil style ? It is true it have clearly less side effects ?
  6. Hello Dears, I take the opportunity to thank to all the doctors and the people that send me the previous messages on this forum, it really helped. I come back with updates. I made a visit to a hair surgeon closer to my residence in my country (Romania - eastern europe) and finally I understand what is the issue. I have 10 "buried" grafts in the numb area (with green in above pictures) of my head and this is why I have this persistent inflamation and the lumpy aspect in that area. The doctor told me that there are no cysts yet on any of those buried grafts but it needs to be checkd in the future. I received a treatment with antibiotic and antiinflammation cream (similar with the previous one). Except this issue the said the rest seems to be ok (transplanted hair started to grow !) and he is optimistic on the future as the inflammation shoud subsid. I will go again for a check after 1 month period. Unfortunately due to some stress I forgot to ask him some fundamental questions, and I kindly ask the awesome community from here to enlight me in some of those regards: 1. Do you consider those 10 buried grafts as a possible surgeon mistake ? 2. How offen this is happening in hair transplant and is this normal to happend ? 3. What are the possible future complications due to those 10 buried grafts I have and what other precautions I shoud take ?
  7. Those pictures are a few days ago. The bumps are 2-3 milimeters in height ( inflamation considered) . Probably one bigger central top of the head is 5-6 milimeters in height. In lenght -the affected are ( numbness area) cover an area a tad larger than in the below pictures ( see with green) . Thank tou very much for your reply.
  8. Here are some pictures, yes there is minor inflammation "on the surface" in all affected areas and some lumps ( bumps) that looks underneath.
  9. Hello guys Two months -one week after my hair transplant and I am in a terrible state physically and phchologically and I really need some professional advices. The issue : The problem I have is that since the surgery (2 month ago) I continously have some "bumps" or "lumps" on large postions under the skin in recipient area. Those areas seems to have minor inflammation and swelling. I have partial numbness on those areas. I experience some tingling and burning sensation on those areas aswell. "On the outside" the skin looks very good and nothing special is visible according to dermatologist that saw me. I lost all my transplanted hair after 1 month (probably due to shock loss) and since than I've got nothing yet visible coming out of those areas except my original hair that i partially lost too, in the same time frame. Short story about how I got here: My surgeon is in another city very far away and coudn't help that much. Speaking on the phone I had the impression she doesn't know what is happening and after a while I start loosing trust and patience due to high distance between us and poor communication. For a while I thought it is still part of the healing process. I start looking for answers on other doctors dermatologists ( and even neurologist) in my town and this delayed severly the diagnostic, as most of them even if they are experienced on other scalp issues they have poor understanding of hair transplant procedures. Current tratment: after 3 weeks of Fucidin cream and Clobetasol solution I have some improvements as the bumbs (lumps) under the skin got recuced in size but the simptoms overall still persist. The numbness and inflammation improved a bit aswell. Current diagnostic : None clear yet unfortunately, Recently I am in panic and I will do back very soon to dermatologist(s) for new investigations or procedures. Questions: 1. Simply reading some documents about hair transplant complications I suspect I have some cysts under the skin ( I know the diagnostic shoud be done by a proper medic !) . I remember the surgeon complaining about "small" grafts from donor area. Do you think this can be the case, and those are too dip under the skin due to faulty procedures or (and) other causes ? 2. Providing I have cysts can those be treated without surgery ? If surgery is needed are there any resulting scars ? At least the original hair still grow in those "newly" operated areas ? What kind of doctor can do this surgery ? ( OMG I hope is not the case for this !) 3. Do you think my transplant is compromised or are there any chances for the transplanted hair to still grow in recipient area despite those big issues ? 4. If those bumps are not cysts and "my believe" (wich is not qualified) is wrong what else can be ? Please help me with some advices and steps to move forward because I am in big trouble. I am at your disposal for any questions or scalp pictures if you think those might help with anything.
  10. Nothing like this, no blood no grafts disclosure and I am pretty sure I never hit the area during sleep or day time even if I was agitated and crushed tired. I had almost no pain and no visible swelling either since the surgery.
  11. Thank you for your answer. I attach some pictures. I had the surgery in 27-28 june. 27 june night was the one with the issue after frontal part was already transplanted into recipient area. Please share your honest opinion is you see some other issues if you have time. The big "hole" from the side view was a mole (beauty spot) I had, and it was removed within the procedure aswell.
  12. Please tell me what are the risks if I slept on my side the first day after hair transplant. Even worst I slept a bit on the belly aswell by accident. I will add that the head was still elevated during all this time on a small pillow (hard to imagine this posture I know !) and I haven't touched at all (with anything) the area where the hair was transplanted during surgery. Please note I didn't had any swelling after the surgery ( or probably is too minor and I can't notice it). No blood or visible disclosure on my hair yet. What do I risk worst case and best case scenario ? :((
