  1. Your donor will be absolutely fine …I very much feel your concerns as I’ve been through the wringer 3 times now with the same donor anxiety around months 1 to 4 ish ….it’s like we know the recipient area is boxed off and asleep for a few months now let’s go and obsess over the next nearest thing ..aha..the poor old donor …and the little divil In 99% of cases bounces back and surprises the hell out of us …except your Surgeon …you’re good to go @mister_25

I remember watching the video on Ajay about four years ago. His whole life has turned around for the better as a result! 💯👌

It sure has ..i wonder would Ajay agree with most females retort “why bother with a HT ,just shave it ,it’s only hair “

    Not bloody likely 😃

Im wondering why more HIgh NW guys don’t embrace the ponytail to do away with crown liabilities ??

@Zoomster Based on my understanding, it just seems logical that for the visual effect of SMP to be recognized appropriately, it works best keeping the hair buzzed short. I’m sure there’s nothing detrimental about SMP with hair grown out longer, and no requirement that one must keep hair buzzed, but longer hair will cover the scalp more and so the SMP won’t be seen and appreciated as much. That’s probably the extent of it.

I’m going to stay open to SMP for my future situation but I have no rush; want to see how good my growth can get first. Also looking at some other products that keep getting better in technology and that can increase hair aesthetics.

Cheers @general-etwan..I’m very much in the same boat as you ..it’s just I seem to be picking up on a reluctance by clinics worldwide to conduct SMP into grown out recipient/ donor ..

Ive reached out twice in the past to Dotmicro in Belfast Ireland by WhatsApp enquiring about SMP into donor and transplanted recipient ….no reply

Sometimes you just have to take a hint

I cant speak about how SMP looks with ones hair grown out because Ive always buzzed it every 2 o 3 days. That photo I posted shows about 10 days growth because Doctors want to see atleast 2 weeks growth before I send out photos for my next transplant evaluation. In any case, with the right SMP tech, it would look great with any transplant.  Im basically a Norwood 6 with 15 % transplant and the rest , the SMP allusion (photo).I have no native hair on top

    Thanks a lot ….

@general-etwan You could use SMP definitely. I had my 1st SMP 3 yrs ago and touched up 2 months ago. Its blends great with my weak transplants all over. But I have to keep my hair buzzed .2 questions) How long did it take to get an appt with Eugenix? and could you of used more of your beard grafts? Our beard growth is similar and I hope to get 3000 -4000, from jawline on down. I need about 5000 grafts in total I think. That pic of my front is all SMP with Norwood 5 or 5 1/2 and about 1000 transplants. Maybe less .You will look much better of course

@devilfishlane..SMP looks well ..can you please educate us a little ..why is it that SMP doesn’t look well in amongst grown out recipient ..like you said you have to keep it buzzed ? I’m picking up that in order for SMP to work it must be kept buzzed even when you have Native / previously implanted hair in recipient..same goes for Donor ..

Im getting mixed signals about its effectiveness ..

    Thanks

Nice shots with a ton of detail Karl. Makes it so much easier to assess and realize the exquisite work rendered on you my friend! It is already looking better than your last  procedure and you’re technically still in the ugly phase.😎 Absolutely incredible bro!

@MazAB..you’ve been my guiding light Armen .I owe you such a debt of gratitude …in fact an awful lot of us within this community do brother 🙌

@Zoomster it's simply impossible to even imagine that 9k of scalp grafts have been taken from your scalp donor! If you told me that you were the first person to have stem cell treatment it would certainly explain a few things! And to think you look this good at the worst point of the ugly duck??? Get well brother. The other side of Winter says the babes are back in spades. 💯👌

@Gatsby..had a good giggle there Adrian as I hope you’re right regarding the babes ..as the proverbial “ plate spinner “ ugly duckling has been rough I can tell you .😂

Honestly at this length your donor looks completely untouched - there’s not a blemish in sight, and certainly nothing that screams “hair transplant!”  in that area. If my donor looked like that after 6,000 grafts, let alone 9000+(!!!), I’d be absolutely over the moon!

Thanks @Berba11…The Top Guns did great with the extractions for sure

Oh wow. You were such a good responder to fin already..

What I have always wanted to ask you mate..

    1) how did friends and family react? Were they completely shocked with what was achieved?

    2) How did your life change through the hair? Do you feel more self-confident? Do you feel like people treat you a lil bit different?

From family and friends i mostly got  you look great but we thought you suited the bald look well ..which I did …but as we all know it’s not about what others think ..it’s about how WE feel ..

regarding your second point a well executed HT does give you a pep in your step ..some extra “ mojo “..it gave me encouragement to get back into the gym etc …plus from my observation strangers tend to be slightly friendlier towards you on first meeting..

General happiness and confidence levels do increase ..no doubt about it .

With a negative result HT ..it can have very much the opposite effect of all the above .so research well

I read through the text, expected a see-through shock-loss donor but....

    Nothing. It looks great. Congrats.

@davidn thanks mate ..definitely think oral minox is helping donor along though I forgot to mention I’ve had a fairly bad dose of influenza week 5 and 6 ..which threw the gym, nutrition and hydration out the window …missed a couple of days on and off with the meds and vitamins too so slowly trying to get back up on the horse this week..might double pop a few fin and minox pills 💊😉

  11. 2 month update ;

    Hi All,

Nothing much to report..right in the middle of the toughest part of process month 2…I wish I could say I’m not really caring about looking in mirror at recipient and donor but I’m just as bad as ever ..lots of obsessing 🥲…no point advising try not to look in mirror a ton as everyone will ..I trimmed down my temple point hairs as they were growing rather unruly ..all perfectly normal.

Hopeing for further strengthening of the donor over the next couple of months as 9218 scalp grafts is a huge number .

Have a great Christmas everyone ,i will update again mid January when things hopefully will be starting to catch fire 🔥
