  1. From the front it looks fine, but the top down is another story. I feel Dr. Alexander would have no problem making you mint, he seems like good peeps Good luck and God Speed!
  2. I always thought it took hair to make the guy hansome, but it's who you are as a person. As for the meds, w/o them, I probably would be a nw 5a. W/ propecia, the sides are reversible pretty quickly, if you have them. To me, the risk is worth it, especially if you're willing to risk a HT vs sides of meds...IMO. P.S. I'm on avodart, but start w/ propecia first (if you and your dr. decide it's the right path).
  3. Hey, I know that background...the Grand Canyon!. Your hair looks great!
  4. Hey Aaron, the first thing I noticed right of the bat in the first pic with the profile shot of the hairline is the naturalness (sp?) now. It's starting to fill in, but at 4 months is still too early to comb, when I had my head shaved in January, it was nearing the 5 months mark before I could start to have enough actual length to style. But your hair is coming in nicely and looks TOTALLY natural and in a few months you will have those styling options to choose from. P.S. I hate harsh lighting as well TTYL. Leeson
  5. Hairline looks very nice, what did Dr. Rahal say about your temple points? You look totally different in a GREAT way and happy.
  6. The grafts looked spread out and not densely packed. this doesn't looked refined. IMHO
  7. Bulli, your totally turned around, and you said your having SMG doing a second to make you mint. Next year, your going to be talking about getting a body wave like i"m thinking doing like Justin Bobby of the Hills, not that I watch MTV, shhh, don't tell anyone
  8. Actually, I don't have to look at the links, I always thought he did excellent work and feel he's coalition status worthy.
  9. Yea, I agree with aaron, you need to stabilize the loss first. Propecia or dutasteride (since it's so aggressive), see what a qualified dr. thinks and not some dr. that just has MD on his wall, if you know what I mean. Hopefully it will halt and maybe grow some back, then re-evaluate at 6 months to 9.
  10. The way he did the hairline design, it definitely looks like it will look totally natural and irregular, like it should be.
  11. I have to agree w/ Bulli. Thana in '09! A Change We Can Believe In! P.S. Not that this place needs a change, just a catchy phase.
  12. Really nice and extremely thick front, crown looks to be catching up. Looks like you could sport a short cut on top with that density.
  13. I had to throw in Ronald's quote, but yeah Thana, you got it going on with that do.
  14. You look great, but I think you need to eat more. You're becoming too lean. Happy for you.
  15. No exact number, just depends on hair characteristics. The general concensus seems to go for 55fu/cm2 hairline and 35fu/cm2 top.
  16. Thanks Thana! Picked up some Texture Dirt yesterday. It was buy one get one free at Walgreens, so I am well stocked up. Love the stuff so far.
  17. Compared to what? Getting kicked in the face with a golf shoe? Peruse this site for a while and you'll come to an informed decision about choosing the right surgeon. Also, check into propecia, and if so,stay on it for 12 months before going for a HT.
  18. He goes by hairs, not follicular units per cm2. So around 200 hairs per cm2 is average.
  19. I'm here. Yea, those post upset me. I talked to Bill about my password and name. It's all straight now, but that was NOT due to the security of the HTN, BUT because of my own incompentence of leaving my terminal unsecured to "nosey neighbors." It does make me think twice about telling others and so-called friends about something so personal as restoring your hair. P.S. don't have the actual HTN name under your favorites (place under an alias name) and watch out where you can double click username slot and your username appears and then hitting tab and password appears to log in.
