I’m coming into your journey upon completion but this is truly a “new lease in life” result. Your hair is SO thick and dense for a first pass. Congratulations!!

Thanks Steve for the nice words. The transplanted hairs are so much more thicker then I imagined and the frontal area is all transplanted hair. I had no existing hair in that area at all to bolster the hairline. Maybe the finasteride and couple of supplements I take also played a small part in making my hair a little thicker and healthier too. But thank you for your feedback, I feel like a totally new person for the better.

  2. 14 months

I’m at 14 months now but really hard to notice any progress since the last update, so I’ve just attached one before and after photo. The before photo was my hair looking at its best prior to my transplant with me disguising my hair loss as best I could. Sometimes we have to look back to realise and appreciate how a single hair transplant can have such a positive impact on your life.

Aww thank you so much Dr Erdogan and Suzana for changing my life forever. Will always be grateful for what you guys done for me.
And thank you to this forum too, as without this forum I would have never have got this result. All the knowledge, recommendations and patient reviews really helped myself in probably avoiding getting an average HT at best somewhere within the UK where I live.

    Thank you all 😊

    Hi,

I wanted to gauge some opinions on Erdogan since he seems to be a divisive figure here. I realize a few patients of his who had a surgery with him a few years ago were dissatisfied, but this seemed to occur starting around 2016. So I want to ask patients who were performed on by Erdogan in late 2018 or later: are you satisfied with your results?

    Include pics if you can.

This thread could potentially go off! But to answer your question from my own personal experience which was in March 2019, I could not be happier with my results. Best thing I’ve ever done getting a hair transplant and choosing  Asmed especially.
First photo is just under 14 months and second photo was between 10-11 months after surgery.

So I've been debating about a hair transplant for quite some time, and visited quite a few doctors including Dr. Reddy.   I was most impressed with Dr. Zioga and was just ready to go ahead.  But I've just found this site today, and she is barely mentioned and not in the recommended list - although reading the small print the recommended list appears to be sponsored by the surgeons.  Please let me know if you have any experience

    thanks in advance

This won’t help you much but I had a consultation with Dr Zioga in London in 2016 and she said I wasn’t ready for a transplant even though my hairline had receded quite a lot and was thinning throughout most of the top. So I totally respected her honesty and they wasn’t just trying to take my money. I ended up going abroad in 2019 at the age of 32 for a transplant.
This forum is a great source of knowledge and information and has lots of real patient reviews by various doctors.

I would be gutted if my HT had turned out like this. 🤣. You look from the pics at least 10 years younger, what a waste of money 😡
Seriously what a great result, regardless of the clinic used, you must be ecstatic with the result.

Thank you mate, you could say ecstatic, I’m absolutely thrilled and it’s had such a positive impact on my life.

You know already how life changing this can be.

@Melvin-Moderator you told me all Doctors have bad results but it’s how they handle these bad results that make them good or bad Doctors.

ASMED has bad results like all other clinics but they have started threatening patients with lawyers @dust78 or simply stonewalling patients with bad results for months @miko and that should be unacceptable at HRN!

@munich stated that ASMED is now a clinic that does tech run surgeries on 8 patients per and will therefore refuse any touch at ASMED to avoid further endangering his precious donor area with this hairmill.

These aren’t patients writing sensationalist posts or fake members, these are real patients showing HRN the truly unethical behavior they are enduring from one of HRN affiliates.

You replied to all of this by complaining that a patient of ASMED that got a good result was dismissed on this thread and mentioned names of some other patients with good results but what does any of that matter to us patients when we have read here at HRN how we risk being treated if we have a bad result at ASMED....

Myself and @TrixGlendevon gave good advice and managed to steer @rf_ht_2019 clear away from hairmills so imagine my surprise when I just read your post giving him confidence to chose a hairmill such as ASMED.

I have to admit that I’m shocked that you are going to such lengths to defend ASMED despite their unethical behavior which in my humble opinion should at the very least award them a temporary ban until they show proof of a drastic change in their behavior towards their botched patients.

Lol I’m so glad I didn’t take your ‘good advice’ as otherwise I would have never ended up looking like this 😊😉

More than for real, I am providing evidence for every comment.  I reply to you quoting my previous post when I told you “you are one of the lucky ones” and I remind you that Cinik that you agreed to beIng a hairmill also has several happy (lucky) patients at HRN.

Are you for real endorsing a clinic with unethical behavior such as threatening botched patients with lawyers?

I am not one of the lucky ones. There are loads of good to great results on here. I’ve never commented on Cinik.

@Craig2412 you do realize things can change at any clinic and the experience you had a while back might not be the same today as you can read on the threads I posted.

Recently it’s mostly bad results and you are saying that people should consider a clinic that is now threatening patients that show them their bad results with lawyers. So you approve this behavior?

I get it that you are happy with your results but you have to realize that a clinic with such unethical behavior towards their botched patients is not a clinic any reasonable person or former patient can continue to recommend.

Are you for real mate? I was only at the clinic last year, the same time as the guys you’re referring to. I was at the clinic 1 week prior @munich guy you’ve you mentioned.

  11. 1 minute ago, Portugal25 said:

@Craig2412 please read the threads above as you will find that everyone is stating that recently it’s gone downhill as they are now operating 8 patients per day (hairmill) and Dr. Erdogan intervention is little to none.

Every clinic has bad results and it’s the way they handle patients with bad results that makes them great clinics or unethical hairmills like ASMED that told @dust78 to speak with their lawyers after he showed he was overharvested.

Sadly ASMED went from good to a very high priced hairmill.

I’ve seen the majority of the good and bad results. I think you’re being very harsh and unfair here, and the OP on this thread should still consider Asmed.
Sadly I went to this downhill high priced hairmill and ended up like this!

@Craig2412 I’m glad you are one of the lucky ones from ASMED and I see you are aware that today ASMED is no better than any other Turkish hairmill.

You can check below what recent ASMED patients are saying:

    @munich experience and quote:

“Now they operate 8 patients per day. If you are lucky you get the good techs. Dr. Koray just draws the hairline and makes the cuts.
They promise a growth rate of more than 90% but they can't keep this promise anymore as you could see in many cases here in this forum. “

    @dust78 experience and quote:

“unacceptable is the attitude they are having with me. I sent the photos to show the conditions of my donor. The doctor did not even deign to answer me personally, as usual he delegated his consultant who with a message via whatsapp told me that it was all right and that it was all normal. Furthermore, as he had done previously, at the slightest hint of dissent he immediately made me understand that if I didn't like it I had to see it with their lawyer! “

    @miko experience:

And lastly a thread with people stating the obviou

I don’t understand how people still recommend this unethical high priced hairmill (based in the threads above I’m downgrading the tech run ASMED to a hairmill and will be referring to them as such in the future).

@rf_ht_2019 if you want to go to Turkey and achieve great results I advise you to book with HLC.

No way are they a high priced hairmill. I’ve seen the negative posts and see them while doing my own research. Every clinic has bad results.
I think your find on this forum alone there are lots of ‘lucky’ patients like me.

@Craig2412 please read my post as I didn’t write ASMED is a hairmill but rather a high price clinic getting bad results and threatening patients with lawyers.
My statement can be verified on @dust78 thread regarding his experience at ASMED.

What about all the amazing results they’re still producing? @nb98 just within the past couple of minutes has posted an awesome update. The clinic done wonders with my own hair too (attached)

Yes I would totally agree there has been a few results which haven’t been great but there’s still a very good chance you would get a good to great result going to Asmed if someone is considering Turkey for a hair transplant.

@rf_ht_2019 my advice is to stay clear from ASMED as they have been getting bad results, overharvesting patients and then threatening them with lawyers.
Cinik is a all inclusive hairmill in which your results will depend on tech team assigned to you on the day of your surgery.

In your list Demirsoy (1.25€/graft) is the only option but if you are set on Turkey why not go to best which is HLC Ankara (2.7€graft)?

Demirsoy only does surgery on 1 patient per day but does pre-made slits/holes and. has technicians do the implantation.

HLC has doctors doing only 1 patient per day with a higher level surgery stick&place in which each slit is done and immediately after the graft is implanted. It’s the same technique used by Dr. Konior.

If you have the budget for it then go to HLC

Haha that would be awesome man, honestly I think I’d get very little likes bald. I’m gonna try, if I do, I’d sticky it on here. After all, that’s why most men get a hair transplant.

Yes Melvin, I think there would be a lot of guys interested to see the results of this. Even if you just set up 2 tinder profiles at the same time and you have the counter in the corner for amount of likes. Do it!

  16. 1 hour ago, Melvin-Moderator said:

Absolutely, online dating is superficial. I mean women discriminate more than men for sure. Being bald will automatically limit your dating pool, it’s just the way it is, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get dates, it’s just limited. Sometimes bald heads can work, particularly for those guys with dark skin.

I was considering doing a test for YouTube to see how many matches I get with bald vs with hair. I have a gf now though, so it may not fly lol. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that before.

Try and convince your girlfriend and do the test Melvin!
Be very interesting to see how much percentage the second photo outweighs the first as you look great in the second photo.

If not I would be happy to send 2 photos with head shaved vs with hair.

Hahaha that’s awesome mate, to be honest your transformation has been huge, not only the hair, but the physique as well 💪🏼

You’d be killing it here in the US, women here love an accent haha. Your story was very similar to mine. Hell you look way younger than 32, attribute that to the hair as well.

Thanks Melvin I really appreciate it. The hair transplant gave me the confidence to start the gym and even go at 6am. With my old hair I was so conscious I would never leave the house until I had showered where it looked so awful after sleeping.

I noticed a few guys from my gym saying my chin looks more manly now. But I’ve wondered is that actually related to the hair transplant and framing of the face.

  18. Good post Melvin, I’m sure you don’t struggle for dates at all! I bet you have them queuing!
I personally had looked into and wanted a hair transplant for around 7 years. I think Wayne Rooney had his first HT in 2011 and thats what made me aware of the procedure.

But after my last relationship ended i must admit that played a role in pulling a trigger for a hair transplant.

I found the hair transplant combined with gym has made a huge difference for my confidence and self esteem. I’ve been on dating apps here and there since my mid 20’s but at 32 it’s without doubt the most options I’ve ever had and that’s all thanks to the hair transplant. I joined a couple of dating apps 6 months after my transplant and got way more matches/dates then I expected. It’s been a game changer for sure.

I must add all the dates I’ve had over the past 6 months or so not one of them ever knew I had a hair transplant. A lot of them even say I’ve got good hair which was a first!

I’ve actually joined tinder since COVID struck and had matches with American women!

I think the improvements reduced as time went on, each month after about 12 months. Did notice the texture improved up to around 18 months. Still glance at myself in the mirror sometimes and can’t quite believe the transformation. One thing that is clear,  hairs on pillow and in shower plug are virtually minimal.

It’s a huge transformation. I think sometimes you need to look back at older photos to realise how far you’ve come. That’s something I’ve noticed, the lack of hairs on pillow and hairs on my hands during washing. I’m not sure how much Finasteride has played a part in that too.
