    Hi, after looking at your progress posts I’d say your results are disappointing for 8months, especially from a top doc like Diep. The density is just not adequate but given that it was a large area to cover with the amount of grafts you received, you probably need another 1k grafts in your frontal zone to better the density. With that said, you still have several more months for it to improve.

    At the very least, 6-months after an Ht is what most Doctors and clinics will tell you, any sooner any you could damage the grafts.

    Just wanted to post a photo of my donor area from my 7th month post procedure mark for those that might be interested. Please note the lighting isn’t the best and the photo was done in portrait mode as well as the fact that I have salt and pepper hair and grey/white hairs don’t show up well.

    From what I’ve researched, it’s reasonable to expect 10% of new hair growth each month following the midway point up until 12-14 month, as some may be slow growers. I am a few weeks from reaching my 8th month mark and have noticed a few new sprouted hairs in my hairline just over the past few days that will hopefully mature soon.

    Thanks man! Like I mentioned in my first post, I’d mainly like to keep the focus on my growth and progress for the time being on this thread, I still feel i need a bit more progress and improvement to be completely satisfied so hoping that happens within the next 3-4 months.

    Great write-up and nice progress so far man. Lighting definitely changes the appearance of the new hair growth, know from experience, some days and in some lighting it looks great an dense other it looks ok. Good luck and happy growing!

    Took some photos post-shower with hair wet/damp @ 7-months and 1-week. So far, I’m pleased with the coverage and the hairline from center to right side (left side in my photos), but my left hairline side (right side in my photos) is not as good and not as dense as well, I’m hoping that the next several months I gain more improvement and density. Anyone with similar difference in left and right hairline temple sides get improvement at their 1-year mark or beyond after 6 or 7months? thanks.
