Hi guys Firstly just want to say thank you to all of the members on this forum and their experiences as it is it in a valuable tool to all of us in this situation. I am currently a 36 year old male with an NW3 with possible progression to an NW4 in the next few years. I'm on finasteride 1mg day and use nizoral twice weekly. Was using minoxidil for quite some time roughly 2 years, but came off it due to being scheduled to go for surgery with Asmed. I've lost quite a bit of density in the past few months due to this but not really wanting to start minoxidil again. I am looking to get roughly 2500 graphs and would like this to be done by a hairline specialist. I've narrowed the list to Dr Jean Devroye or Dr De. Freitas. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts or anything that you may be able to add. Thanks guys

+1 here buddy. Locked out of thread. I'm becoming very suspicious on how unbiased this forum is becoming. It's meant to be a tool for all of us going through this issue and to help weed out any potential problems. The more Asmed is protected on here the more people will end up looking elsewhere I believe, as I have done. I think asmed were amazing up till around 2 years ago from the results that I've seen.

So glad I pulled the plug on Asmed. No pun intended. We are seeing more and more average results from them. I think I dodged a bullet to be completely frank. Awaiting my my quote from Dr Freitas, even if it means waiting till 2020 I'd rather know I'm in good hands.

There seems to be a number of FUT patients that definitely regret going down the strip scar route. I'd say to stick with FUE; there doesn't appear to be to much difference in the yield these days and it leaves the option of shorter hair. Only reason you'd go strip is if it's a last resort imo.

This. As I've previously said; Erdogan's density is solid, however, his hairlines simply do not look natural. The key to a good transplant is a natural looking hairline. I think Freitas might be my new selection. I'd rather pay more and wait longer to have a natural looking result.

Very true. It's hard to gauge results on the forums sometimes. I would love to meet more guys who have been through the process in real life to see how it looks.

Hi Jean Good advice as per usual; your input into this forum is invaluable. I see you've recommended Baubac, but I can't see many results from him. Any links? Also what are you thoughts on Erdogan's more recent issues with a few unhappy hairlines/ results (a few on this forum). His dense packing is definitely some of the best but I'm not super confident in his seemingly more unnatural looking hairlines in the last year or so. Is there anyone who compares price / quality ratio to him? I'm actually looking at Feriduni as an alternative (obviously more expensive)

Any update mate? Has anyone that you didn't tell noticed you had something done?

I'm booked in with Erdogan in September to get my hairline filled in. I have sent over a bunch of pics of natural looking hairlines that I like (all transplant) and haven't been able to get a confirmation of ability to reach a reasonably close result. I love Erdogan density but I'm actually starting to doubt the hairlines .

I see. It's understandable that you feel that way and I know it's you that looks into the mirror each day and notices that area. For what it's worth, my opinion is itt looks fantastic man. Any updated pics?
