Poisoned? That's rubbish. There has been some very average results coming from Asmed over the past year and they were highlighted. A forum should exist not to simply market surgeons but to inform the public with non biased information so as to help make their choice. In saying this, OPs results are average. Not great, not terrible. It's not a botch job by any means and the contrast between hair and scalp was always going to provide some challenges. I wouldn't be happy with his results but I also know that it's not a one and done type deal, but 4500 grafts I'd be expecting a little bit more density. Don't give me that "illusion of density" spiel either Melvin. I know. I'd advise all who are genuinely considering a hair transplant in the future to; 1. Use multiple forums for research. Ask the mods who are sponsoring the forums also. 2. Jump on Instagram and search "fue" "hair transplant" etc. I've found some real gems by doing this. You can find results from all over and speak to different people about their experiences. Many will have logs which run for a year + showing them in all sorts of conditions i.e. wet hair, sunlight, beach etc etc. While I will agree that Asmed are getting bashed about more than probably deserved, I do also think that as of 2019 there are better choices out there for the kind of money you will spend with Asmed. The proof is in the pudding and there is so much pudding out there if you do the research. Asmed is still an option but I believe we need to make them win our business back.

This. Rather than address the failures that are clear for all to see, we get a blown out, fluffy sales pitch filled with impressive technical sounding words and names. It's actually quite insulting to those who have had terrible results.

Sorry to hear mate, definitely a sub par result. That hairline looks quite pluggy too. Asmed is a a massive no go as far as I'm concerned. Wouldn't expect much from Asmed or the moderators on this forum either a it now appears that they are in cahoots and this is basically a marketing tool for the recommended surgeons.

No matter what anyone else says it's really a personal victory for you if you are happy. Your hairline looks great and I'm really happy to hear it's been life changing in a positive way for you. This is really good advice. I've noticed many of these mega sessions lately look quite average. Although OP wanted 2000, it still gives him an opportunity to go back and get another 1000 in the area of question and it will be phenomenal. I'd rather that than 3000 in one session with 50% failing due to lack of blood supply.

I agree with your second point. I actually requested a particular tech when I was booked in with Asmed a while back (had read she was the go-to) but was told this was not possible, i.e. you get who you're given...Russian roulette basically. I wouldn't go near a tech driven place any more, it's just way too risky. If the doc is not heavily involved (no more than 2 patients a day) then I wouldn't even consider them. My preference is for the doc to do the entire procedure; which I understand costs a lot more but gives peace of mind. Witnessing the failed outcomes over the years I would rather save up and wait to give me the highest chance of success.

It would be really interesting to have the Doctor come on the forum for an AMA (seeing as this forum would've definitely been instrumental in his business growth over the years). I am sure I am not alone in wanting some answers as to why we have witnessed a noticeable decline in the results coming out of Asmed post late 2017.

I can see what you mean and there is definitely some density issues. I feel like this may have also contributed to the hairline looking slightly"off". Sorry to see you are unhappy brother, I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be. On a more positive note, you have really amazing hair and I'm sure if you go and see someone else (please find a stick and place doc) you will have a truly incredible result.

Welcome aboard mate. There is plenty of information on the forums for you to research that can help with the above questions; So I would start there. Also, you need to be aware that it's not cool to hijack someone else's thread and will likely not get you the type of helpful response you desire. My advice is go and do a few hours research (minimum) on the existing threads and then come back and start your own.

Vast majority receiving quality results? This seems to be true in the past with this clinic. At present, the evidence we are all seeing is the exact opposite. Asmed needs to address the quality issues - why the dramatic inconsistency? Huge numbers of grafts and yet still density issues... What was once a sure bet high end, bang for buck clinic (never 100% guaranteed, but as close as it gets) has now become a mill turning out some really below average results; all in the space of a year or so. It's terrifying that a change this drastic is possible.

These continued substandard results coming out of Asmed are just not acceptable. I vote for a moratorium on Asmed being included on the recommendation list until the results start improving and an explanation is offered as to why the quality control has slipped so dramatically. The members of this forum are trying their best, as Kraistoff mentioned, to become well informed and educated about the HT world to avoid these exact predicaments. To simply continue to ignore this inadequacy and keep them on the recommendation list couldn't possibly bode well for this site's repute as an unbiased source of credible information.

HLC looks to be providing the best recent results out of the Turkey clinics. They are a stick and place clinic so that's why they are $$$. Keser and HLC are the only places i would consider in Turkey ATM.

Funny that you are the only one saying this Melvin. I believe the OP has more than enough cause to be worried; the number of grafts used is likely over half of total (max.) available grafts for his lifetime. For this to be 60% to 70% of the final result is not ok. I have honestly seen 4 month results with half this graft number look denser. As a completely unbiased, independent party; I must admit that your opinion of this being acceptable appears dubious. Anyone that is genuinely considering using Asmed needs to see this review (and the other half dozen lack luster results over the past year) and add this to their due diligence. I've got no bone to pick with anyone but I do believe that we need to reconsider Asmed as one of the top places to go anymore. Erdogan is no doubt fantastic, as his past results can attest, however, Asmed has basically become a tech driven cash cow from what it appears. Good luck OP, I hope that for your sake the results improve over the next 6 months.
