  1. Wondering if anyone has any examples of the density this provides?
  2. such a good result! What density did you get transplanted?
  3. OK damn that literally covers all my concerns LOL mainly I was worried I had maybe lost a graft but I have most definitely not noticed any bleeding whatsoever, or any holes in my scalp, so I think I can confidently say I have not lost any grafts. Thank you for that list, I'm seriously going to screenshot it an refer back to it. Just wanted to mention that I started this thread just to reach out to the forum and get feedback from others who have gone through the process directly. Dr. Rahal and his staff have been very good at following up with all my concerns, couldn't be happier with the process so far. I've always been one to get a second opinion, so I figured no better place than here
  4. oh no, i was looking to see how to delete it seeing as I got direct reassurance from Dr. Rahal and didn't want to freak anyone out reading it I really appreciate you responding however! All the best
  5. just got off the phone with Dr. Rahal, everything seems to be going great. Will start a new thread at some point with progress pics, for now just gonna sit back and wait it out
  6. Okay thank you for the re-assuring words. The only thing that worries me is that in many of those pink areas without scabs there seems to be no follicle's there, like no hair planted. I'm wondering if the follicle is somehow underneath or there won't be any hair growing there at all? From your experience, should I be able to distinctly see all the follicles? Also, how do you know if any grafts have been dislodged or have come out let's say during sleeping or something? Would there be a lot of blood and a distinct hole or would it go unnoticed?
  7. It appears my scabs have large spaces that appear to have literally no hair between them? Is that normal? Honestly doesnt look like 3000 grafts lol but it might just be the way it heals
  8. LOL woops did not realize i said 5 months, yeah im about a week post op today, and my eyes are pretty much healed. One thing though is that it seems like my scabs are bunching together leaving large spaces without grafts. It looks like far less grafts than 3000 to be honest so im kinda unsure wha'ts happening
  9. Wow really eh 2-3 weeks?? Damn okay that definitely helps. I’ve attached some photos for comparison but i guess yeah it looks like some swelling. Do you think that’s just from the anasthetic of from the trauma of the surgery as well? First photovis healthy me, second is today 5 days post op. Same room, same everything, lighting might be slightly off due to weather outside but deffs a difference. Scary cause the swelling on the rest of my face is almost gone and the swelling under the eyes is so minor it looks almost like the fat the just went away and just sagged out of my face
  10. I talked to dr rahal and he said it’s deffs not from the painkilers and is most likely just micro swelling related to the procedure itself since it’s only been 5 days. I wanna post pics but it’s of my eyes so need to edit them. There is a huge difference, no imagination here. Just wondering how long it took everyone to see their face to return completely to normal? thanks
  11. Hey guys, So i had my surgery with dr rahal on the 8th, 3083 grafts to my frontal third. Now im like 5 months post op and the swelling is pretty much gone, but i was in a ton of pain in the donor after surgery so i asked for 8 percacets instead of the 4 they give you. My eyes seem to have literally lost the fat underneath and they look super sunken in and wrinkly at the bottom, super evident in comparison pics the between the day before my op and today. My fear is that taking the extra pain meds messed up my face or the anisthetic drainage did something because i deffs look different. My hope is that this is somehow apart of the process and the eyes revert to normal. Anyone ever have this happen, and how long until things go back to normal? thanks, really worried right now
  12. jsut had a rahal strip surgery on thursday. The swelling has not been all that intense for me, just on the side of my face, so hopefully that helps u out. How many gradts did you get by the way?
  13. wow! amazing results, if mine turn out as good I'll be so happy. Congrats!
  14. Reached out, haven't gotten any responses as of yet, let me know if you can find anything! Thanks, B
  15. Hey, so many of you may know I am about to get a hair transplant by Dr. Rahal on the 9th, but I prefer the hairline to be more v shaped than completely straight. I am having a hard time finding v shaped hairlines by Rahal, and they all look pretty straight to me. Does anyone have any examples of a V-shaped hairline by him? I'm not talking about a small widows peak, more a smooth v shape. Diep has some good ones, but I can find any Rahal results with that shape. Thanks
  16. wow spex, that is the answer I have been searching for this entire time. THANK you for that! I will be sure to listen to him and let him know my concerns. Most likely, I will not be taking it. All the best
  17. Hey that's absolutely great to hear, I'm getting one done with Rahal soon who recommends it but I really do not want to. Do you know of the specific reason as to why Dr. Erdogan doesn't recommend the use of minox? Thanks!
  18. Hello BHR, Thank you for the reply. In your opinion, do you feel that minoxidil increases overall yield of transplant growth, or does it simply speed up the growth process? Thanks
  19. is this patient using minoxidil on the transplanted hair. Does it increase yield of transplanted hair at all or no effect? Thanks!
  20. Hey man great results so far! Are you taking minoxidil post surgery or just finasteride? Much appreciated and thanks for the post. I have my op in a week and a half
  21. Oh damnn that's why their blending so well (hopefully not for my sake but definitely helps)!. I am at about 65 microns, so literally double LOL I guess good and bad aspects to both of those values. I haven't spoken to him, and won't until my pre-op appointment with him the day before surgery on the 8th, so won't know until then, but I will keep you posted! Thanks man, really appreciate it. Helps so much knowing you went to the same person.
  22. Hey Goldenboy, I was also wondering what Dr. Rahal said the caliber of your hair was? Mine is thick, making the temples definitely hard to blend, but did he say yours was fine, medium, or coarse? If possible, do you know the thickness in microns? Thanks Again!
  23. Started this thread before but got limited answers. I will be having a HT with Dr. Rahal in less than 2 weeks, however I want to avoid the use of minox after the transplant as I believe it was affecting my skin, though he recommends it. Does anyone have some personal experience on how it generally affects the transplant? I know it speeds up growth, but does it affect overall yield and health of the grafts long term? Thanks!
  24. if you work out regularly, you know that fin or even dut (from personal experience) has no effect on your muscles
