I think your donor looks good enough.
I would only go to the best though. Eugenix should be your choice I think
who did your friend go to?

Do you think you will still need concealer in the crown in 12 months time?
Your donor seems good.

i think you gave him too much hair.
its like it might be hard to get a haircut

My hair was taken from the nape, I think it's fine, the hair may thin over time, but if its placed in the hairline and temple points, it will look natural as it thins with age. As long as the patient is aware, I see no issues.
Yeah I agree.
My nape is strong as well. i would take the risk too. Good chance it never thins too
-
interesting the grafts were taken from the nape.
Probably was checked for thinning though

Yeah, for sure. That's why the hair mill comment was made and wrecking donor supply. It's also why i was considering Eugenix as a place but i think the issue of shock loss you mentioned.
You stopped Propecia? How long for, why and did you notice hair loss for the places that had been relying on that medication in that time?
I had to stop after 2 years. It didnt actually really work anyway as I did lose hair on the medication also.
I have stopped since 2017. My hair has just gradually been thinning in the last 5 years.
I didnt notice any big shed after stopping just gradual hairloss every year mostly in the crown.
Im a diffuse thinner so I know I will need another transplant at least probably 2 more. But it is ok for now as my hairloss is progressing quite slowly atm.
Im looking at trying to get to Zarev in a year or 2.

Shock loss is very overstated i think.
I had it. Had to stop propecia.
And it still all came back.
It also important to look at Surgeons who are best at utilizing grafts.
No point going to Turkey getting 5000 grafts & only 3000 growing.

Has anyone been able to contact Dr. Zarev’s office? I know things are difficult with COVID and he was supposed to move clinics, but going a whole year unable to communicate with him at all is very frustrating. I’ve tried emailing, WhatsApp, instagram. No response.
No im trying too.
He is defintly who I want dong my next transplant.
Although Im not in a huge rush since I had smp which has helped my crown.
But I want to get another in 2023 or 2024

I think Bisanga has suggested it may be possible with jst Oral Minoxidil.
Be carefull with Oral Minox though if Propecia gave yiu sexual sides.
Oral Minoxidil can cause elevated Heart issues. Some heart issues can case sexual issues.
Its why rarely some people can het sexual sides on Minox. Very rare though.

its 2022.
Why are you panicking about saying you had a hair transplant.
No one will care .
Acting real secretive about it just looks insecure.
I had fue done I shave my sides to a 0 fade. Im sure some people can notice I had a hair transplant. No one has said anything no barber they probably dont care.

If you look at Dr Zarevs own YouTube channel, he's got around 40 videos with very good details, pictures /videos.
You can also check my thread as I did over 7000 grafts January 2021 and another over 3600 grafts October 2021. He's also got a lot of detailed results at his web site and if you go for a live consultarion with him he's got a TON more results in his computer.
I know he would like to present more results but as his doing everything himself there is little time, hopefully with the opening of his new clinic (should be this January) and hiring a patient coordinator he will have more time to put out more results.
But Dr Zarev is the real deal, but as he himself is not active in this or any other forum and not many of his patients (who are mostly 95% Bulgarians and the more upper class/richer) there are some question marks still for some people.
I think he also recently presented a case in December at a hair GHLS 2021 ( Global Hair Loss Summit) but I have not found it online yet.
Im trying to get in contact with him.
Any ideas how this is possible?
Would he work on someone not on Propecia?

decent result. Although I am having an issue with fading.
I should have went to a different SMP artist near me Arwii scalp. Much better results.
But not the end of the world. Decent result in the end.
@EvoXOhioresults are better. But with SMP it is harder to travel & wait weeks for sessions.
For my next transplant I will travel of course

being bald looks fine imo when yo dont have the horseshoe.
He looks so much better with the SMP.
I can dedect when someone has had one. That doesnt mean he doesnt look good though.
The ones I have seen look very good.
I think SMP has improved in the last few years. Looking more natural
-
i think your fine for another transplant.
Maybe go with a DR that utlizes Body Hair
-
that looks really good.
You have good donor hair

taking Dutasteride & Oral Minoxidial with no blood work.
It very poor when doctors suggest without this advising or ordering blood work

Thanks. Interesting that you think it's too dark, I actually think it's a bit faded.
i had my 2nd session.
Huge fade after the 1st. That can be a problem
-
the hair is too thick behind the hairline.
But the smo doesnt look good in that pic. Looks like paint. important even in density not to go too dark imo. Juts look for a suttle improvement.
Some people go for too much density

Zarev is the best easily.
Pitella too is great.
These are recovering higher norwoods.
Ferreira is great though. Hair Transplants in general are improving quite well in the last 3 years even.
