  1. Agree looks like really clean work and has healed really well. I'm off to Asmed 3 weeks today and am having a very similar sized procedure so can only hope it looks like this!
  2. Hi Chabany How you getting on at 10 weeks. Seeing any growth yet?
  3. Me again! How you getting on at 18 weeks. I'd imagine you've started to see a big change now. I'm only 3 weeks away from flying out to Turkey now!
  4. What does that even mean?? It may be BS but that's what I was told. Pretty sure your body builds up immunity to most medications over time though so may be some legs in it.
  5. I've been on it for 12 years and not hit that point yet. I was advised to have a break from it for a week twice a year so that your body doesn't become immune to its effect. So perhaps try having a week off and reintroducing it.
  6. I fly in on the Monday as well but arrive earlier in the day then you. I'm having my consultation that same day so probably won't see you until Tuesday morning when we are collected.
  7. I personally think it is really unfair to post something like this without providing photo evidence as it makes readers (including myself) anxious about upcoming procedures. You aren't necessarily going to pay more as the charge per graft is lower than many other comparable surgeons. The fact your husband wants to keep his option open and potentially still consider Dr Erdogan again can only mean he is happy with the outcome.
  8. I wouldn't discount Asmed based on this discussion alone. For a start although the OP heavily implies that it is Dr Erdogan we still haven't had confirmation from her. I was booked in initially for FUE with H&W but changed to Asmed after doing more research and utilising this forum regularly. They did quote 500 grafts more than H&W quoted but I do believe they are more aggressive in their approach and accepted this. Every case that I have reviewed and followed thus far on Asmed has been exceptional and I would base your opinion on this fact. My surgery isn't until next month but what I can tell you is that the service that I have received so far from the staff there has been second to none. I have also seen photos of their patented graft calculator which counts your grafts as they are extracted and you can watch this live on the TV monitor during the surgery. Why do this if they were misleading people?
  9. Perhaps a little. It's hard to tell as your hair was longer in your pre op photos. The good news is that most of the redness seems to have faded now. You can still see where the hair line will come in as well. Hopefully see some growth soon.
  10. I don't mind experiencing shock loss as long as it returns eventually. It's more the thought of losing more hair than I currently have that is causing me to feel slightly anxious at the moment.
  11. If you had any pictures that would be great as I'm wondering what kind of shock loss you had if any as I am having a very similar size procedure performed.
  12. We are there at the same time aren't we KingD2? My procedure is over the 13th & 14th. I'm also concerned about this as I wear my hair really short on the back and sides. Also for some reason have been over worrying about shock loss and hair not returning. I think we have to take comfort from Dr Erdogan's previous work and not seen any cases where people have complained about bad scarring or shock loss. Can't believe it's been over a month for you already JustJax. That has flown by. Here's to hoping the next two go quickly for you as well.
  13. I think everyone worries that they won't come back but they will. Just a phase we all have to go through. You have a few weeks to go before they show back up again so keep yourself busy and try not to worry. I personally think exercise and trying to live a healthy live will only help speed up their return.
  14. Hey JustJax Looks like you are healing well. It does still look slightly red in some of the photos but perhaps this is the lighting as in others it doesn't look as bad. Temple work looks amazing by the way.
  15. Looking good Ritchie9! From where you started you must be thrilled and you have so many months left to go of growth and thickening. Did you struggle during the ugly duckling phase or did you just get on with it?
  16. I'm going to see Erdogan and Asmed in December. Enjoyed your videos as I'm having crown work done as well as the frontal area. I'm only having 1500 grafts put in to the crown and although my loss there isn't quite as substantial as yours (due to finasteride) I'm now wondering if I need another 500 there. I guess I can discuss this with Dr. Koray at the initial consultation. I expect I will need a second procedure to sort out any density issues. For my first procedure I would just like the hair line and temporal areas to be reshaped and some extra density to my crown so I can stop using concealers. I followed you on Instagram. Will follow how your second procedure goes. Your first transplant was an amazing change by the way. Hope I can have as much success.
  17. A bit of a unhelpful statement there. Perhaps his reasons for choosing FUE where because of the hair style he wished to have. Not fair to say he should have opted for FUT as the FUE result should have been better regardless. I also don't believe that the reason for the poor result is because this procedure was FUE and not FUT. I've seen many larger FUE sessions with exceptional results.
  18. Try and put toppik on it just to see what you think it looks like. Toppik also works with short hair by concealing the scalp. I think you could be surprised at how it looks. I've seen some guys get amazing results with toppik / nanogen who have very little hair. I tried couvre but I personally didn't like the consistency and it was visibly different to the rest of my hair.
  19. It's looking better every day in my opinion and gives you a good idea of what you hair will look like shape wise after it has all grown out. It's a such a shame everyone has to shed these hairs. Wouldn't it be so less painful if all the hairs just grew straight away.
  20. Have you put toppik on the crown area as I would have expected it to fill in more than this??
  21. Looking good at 6 weeks. You don't seem to have suffered any substantial shock loss which is a real bonus. Think this will be a stellar result.
  22. I would personally try using dermmatch and then fibres on top of this. This is my daily regime for my crown area. I have little hair there and it creates a brilliant illusion for me. I use the lock in spray as apposed to hair spray but they are essentially the same thing. I think if you pay around with your hair style you could cover the bits you need too.
  23. I think you are best off asking Asmed directly but my very under qualified opinion would be that you pulled the hairs off with the scabs hence why you saw more at that time but the actual bulb would have remained in your head. My understanding is that you would see blood if you had removed an actual graft. You are right though. Each individual hair will shed at it's own time. Some immediately, some in a few weeks. Why don't you try getting on some supplements to speed up hair growth. I'm planning to take Biotin and MSM. I'm also planning to have a break from alcohol and to eat as healthily as I can.
  24. I'm trying to not worry but nobody would know that I have any form of hair loss as I use fibres and push my fringe down. So it is going to be some what of a shock when I return to work and then begin to shed. I own a small business as well so I will probably follow your advice and just tell them all what I am having done. Have you posted any photos and details of your experience with Asmed? I'd be keen to read if you have.
