  1. I want to say 1 month at the most. I trimmed my hair on Jan 1st and today is 19th. So it is 2.5 weeks as of today. I just took this for you to judge. I will also do the same at 1 month so you have a better idea.
  2. Do you mean how long does the transplanted hair need to grow so those are not differentiable from native hair in terms of 'density'?
  3. I don't mind at all dude What I did was partially for educational purposes and I am glad to see someone used it the right way. Already watched your video above and I wish you good luck with your second HT.
  4. I hope more people do this and we all (forum members) can benefit. The reason why my transplanted hair density looking lower is because of my native hair density being really high. My caliber was never measured but I was told to have thicker hair than average.
  5. The pandemic is hitting hard these days. Barber shops are closed in LA. I have been wanting to see the yield and density of the operations I had 4 and 2.5 yeas ago. Also wanted to check if there is any recession on the original (pre HT) hairline and crown. So I shaved my hair I put in some effort to count the grafts per cm square, transplanted in the mid-front of the hairline and left/right temples as well as non-transplanted native hair. Enjoy
  6. Yep, you definitely look younger than hour age which is great thing. 25 months ago, you were 33 , I checked the video 😁 Did you consider Dr Couto before the first op? If you did, how long was the wait and how much does he charge (if you know)?
  7. You are now either 34 or 35 depending on your birth month 😊
  8. Your hair density is fine. You have course hair and the transplanted area looks dense enough. You can never have the natural density of non-transplanted hair unless you have 80 or more grafts per cm sq. That is super hard to achieve with one operation and unnecessary when the donors are limited. Your expectation was set wrong in the beginning. Any transplanted hair even some of the non-transplanted ones look weak under harsh light. If I need to criticize, I see two issues looking at your hairline: - You could have more single grafts on the immediate hairline. - Your hairline at temple points could have been higher.
  9. I just checked your postop photos for your hairline density and the same at 1 year mark. Don’t spend your limited donor grafts tryin to fill in the temples or lowering your hairline. Instead, increase your frontline and crown density.
  10. Congrats on your both procedures. Looking at your photos after the first HT, I was going to suggest you a touch up on your immediate hairline. Scrolling down the page, I saw you had the second HT 😊 Increasing the density and little peak in the middle will make your hair look more natural; very good decision (I would do the same) How old are you? How much does the doctor charge per graft?
  11. Covid is terrible right now. I don't suggest anyone to travel right now. You can have your HT in summer or fall.
  12. Depends on your case. If you don't need more than 2000-2400 grafts and like to have dense packing (especially in the hairline) I would definitely recommend.
  13. It has been 4 years after the first operation and 2.5 years after the second one. Boosted brightness as much as I can for a better exposure.
  14. Watch this one as well, especially after 2:00 min mark. It is unnecessarily aggressive but it gives you a very good idea on temple point restoration.
  15. Temple work is a tough one. You want the directions and the calibers/colors of the transplanted grafts matching the original ones. I am yet to see a perfect example but providing the links for what I consider as very good ones: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49230-2987grafts-with-dr-lupanzula/ https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/57110-2500-grafts-with-dr-hakan-doganay-ahd-clinic-2606-20/
  16. When I saw your temples, I immediately noticed the angles of the transplanted grafts not aligning with the natural flow of the original hair you pointed out. Wait till everything comes out (6-8 months) and see how/if those blend especially when they are long. Worst case scenario, you can get those removed by electrolysis and then get another temple job but ask them to harvest from sides for the temple work next time.
  17. I guess we should ask the question here: Which clinic/doctor is that? Also, what happened to the removed grafts? Are those implanted again or just discarded?
  18. Congrats Mike, very good one. Question: You are very young. What if you start loosing from top and vertex? Do you have enough left in the donor? Did the doctor mention anything about your future progress and plans?
  19. I can see the new sprouts already zooming in (see attached) You are on track, doing perfectly fine.
  20. Any updates? You should be seeing very few or them sprouting by now.
  21. Looks very good. How much does he charge?
  22. Everything looks good so far What is your age? Keser uses his own punches he designed to extract and catheter needle to implant.
