  1. Its not dumb at all, Trans. For me my hairgrowth seems to come in sections as well. It's like each follicle has a little mind of its own
  2. My doctor wanted to put me on Lorazepam, that's how bad my anxiety was getting
  3. Baron, you are GOING EXACTLY THROUGH what every balding guy is going through!!!! Going bald sucks 6 ways till sunday, and there's probably something left for monday. Going bald has taught me some very deep lessons, not only aboot women, but also very much aboot myself. It has taught me we live in a very shallow society. And whats worse, I'm probably more shallow then the next person. That was the most depressing thing I learned aboot myself, when I had to face the fact I was just as shallow as the next person. Kinda makes you wonder if "love" is really just an illusion based on appearance
  4. I sometimes will also mix colors. Start off with a little brown Toppik, and then add grey xfusion.. And then I remind myself how pathetic this hair concealment all is....LOL
  5. I use Xfusion grey fibers. Suits my hair color perfectly https://www.amazon.com/X-Fusion-Hair-Fibers-Grey-gram/dp/B002Q803VK
  6. I got my first smile from a girl who pulled up beside my car at a red light yesterday. That hasnt happened to me in at least 5 years or so. I'm positively thrilled about that!!! I had a bit of toppik on my head though, so I cheated a little. But I'll take it
  7. I would also add you can barely see these hairs. You have to look very carefully at your scalp to spot them
  8. Transhair, you can (and probably) will still grow a lot more hair. I wouldnt freak out. Check out this guy. At 0:25 he's at 6 months and his result looks terrible. Then look at 0:30 which is after 1 full year and its a huge transformation:
  9. Excellent result for only 2,500 grafts. Looks like he has the same large forelock as I do, which probable made creation of his hairline so much easier
  10. I would say its definitely possible, and I have heard of rare cases of people doing this. The only problem is will you be able to match your natural transplanted hair with the hair from the wig perfectly?? If you have straight black hair it might be easy, but if you have dirty blond hair or partial grey hair, and on top of that you have wavy or curly hair, it will be very difficult to get a natural looking match. Just my 2 cents worth
  11. That is indeed very nice of dr. Mohebi. One thing I learned in life is every negative event has a positive event attached to it, you just have to look for it. They call this the Principle of Polarity: https://www.google.ca/webhp?as_q=&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&lr=&cr=&as_qdr=all&as_sitesearch=&as_occt=any&safe=images&as_filetype=&as_rights=#as_qdr=all&q=principle+of+polarity I dont know what Sanjar paid the Colorado clinic, but I'm guessing its a lot less than what he wouldve paid dr. Mohebi. So in the end Sanjar comes out ahead financially, and dr. Mohebi just received a phenomenal reputation
  12. Okay, so this might be a stupid question so please bear with me. If someone has an FUT transplant from one of the reputable surgeons that this forum recommends, what percentage grafts on average will survive the transplant, take hold and grow a healthy terminal hair?? Lets assume a patient had a 5,000 FUT transplant, and that patient took care of his scalp afterwards and didnt pull out any grafts. Would the amount of grafts that take and grow a hair be 100%?? Or would it be 90% or even less than that?? And I know FUE transplants are different, so this question pertains to FUT only
  13. Looking good for 4.5 months. Your hair is just starting to grow now. Your doctor did an excellent job of not making the hairline too low at your age. How many grafts do you think you have left in the bank?? And will you be getting a 2nd HT to fill things out??
  14. I wont mince words Don, I dont think its a very good result and I also think you probably couldve gotten a better result had you gone to one of the referred doctors on this forum. The good news however is you still have 3 months of growing left, and its possible you're just a late bloomer. A lot can happen in 3 months
  15. Dr. Behnam instructs his patients that they must take vit. K before every HT. I have also noticed natural vitamin K works better than synthetic K: pre-operative-instructions-hair transplant | Dr. Behnam
  16. Sarcastic humor doesnt really work well over the internet Is there no way they can knock you out for the whole day with some type of strong sleeping pill?? Who cares about missing lunch, I need to lose a bit of weight anyways....LOL
  17. Try loading with Vitamin K two weeks before surgery, that will GREATLY reduce bleeding because its a blood clotting vitamin. Dr. Hasson was very impressed by how little I bled during surgery
  18. So Doug, you guys right now are doing approximately 1,500 FUE's per day. Roughly how many hours does it take you do those 1,500 grafts
  19. Yes, definitely real. Its not a wig. Funny thing is I think Trump might still be a good candidate for FUE or FUT surgery. A good surgeon could probably fix that whole mess. As far as I can tell his donor area looks okay
  20. I think Trump also possibly had a scalp reduction done
  21. Here is my 6-month update. New hairgrowth seems to have slowed down a bit, but thats normal as regrowth comes in stages: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also here's a frontal view:
  22. I would avoid like the plague. You get what you pay for
