  1. I've chosen Dr Civas for my HT in January. Based on his experience in the field working all over the world, he often does seminars all over the world, has written books on Hair transplants, is the first and only doctor in Turkey who is a fellow of the international society of hair restoration (FISHRS). Coupled with the photos and reviews from his patients on this site and elsewhere I really believe he is one of the lesser known world class HT doctors available to us and I'm really looking forward to my procedure.
  2. I've seen a few threads of this ilk recently looking back through the archives. To be so wound up so early on in the game does nobody any good whatsoever especially not new guys like myself who are having a HT in the near future. I was reading another thread about a poster who said a HT was the biggest regret of his life...3 MONTHS post HT! Now I know it must be daunting and I will be having the same thoughts going through my mind about failure but to make a thread on it so early on is just really daft in my opinion. These guys should get assessed for paranoid schizophrenia.
  3. Can you tell us the post care course you done Okay2land?
  4. That does not look good man. I'm very sorry for you and hope you can get your situation resolved one way or another.
  5. I'm similar to you with dark hair, possibly a bit thicker. Making the trip to Turkey after new year to have my first HT done by Dr. Ekrem Civas, some of the work he has done on higher norwoods is just awesome and one of the reasons I chose him.
  6. Yes, I've booked my flights already before the bombing. Unless there is serious civil unrest I think it would be daft not to, I'm not going on holiday I will be transfered from airports to hotel to clinic and home in 3 days.
  7. That's one of the major factors in me choosing a doctor abroad to do my HT. One with great credentials and a great track record. I'm not spending ?10,000 for a glasgow clinic to fly whichever doctor they can get from down south to do my hair. It's not a great business model and certainly not one I'll be spending my hard earned on.

  9. Fair enough Pax and thanks for that. I've decided I'm going to Turkey at the beginning of January to have my HT done by Dr Ekrem Civas. His work looks outstanding and I'm paying a hell of a lot less than KSL quoted me. I hope you get your situation resolved one way or another.
  10. KSL hair in Glasgow done Stokes and Leigh Griffiths at the same time (ish) Stokes looked great but I saw him playing for Celtic a few weeks back and it was VERY see-thorugh.
  11. I've emailed the very same team/doctor just off the back of this thread. Looks fantastic, I was set to have work done here in the UK but I'm now seriously considering going to Turkey.
  12. Can any of you guys saying they are cowboys produce any photographic evidence? I know a few lads who have had work done at KSL and they are over the moon with the results. I will be having work done there in the near future, unless you guys can provide me some evidence to back up your claims, that is.
