  1. You need help Sam. I'd wager that over 99% of people in your situation would be quite happy, that tells me the problem is with your mind and not your hair. You should go and see a doctor to talk about your anxiety and depression.

  3. Your first transplant got you to a norwood 5? and you were happy? Am I reading this correctly? Any pictures?
  4. His technicians must be quite talented the clinic seem to churn out good result after good result wouldn't you agree?
  5. Good to see another happy client from the Civas clinic. I'll be having my first FUE transplant done there in 2016. 3000 grafts just to the crown area? can you upload some pictures? As an aside did you take your medication through the airport in hand luggage? if so were you okay getting through with liquids. Thanks.
  6. The fact he does take part in all aspects of the procedure to some extent can only be a good thing,
  7. I was/am very impressed with his work and his credentials are up there with the best. I asked the question about Dr involvement and received this. Dr Civas is present throughout the surgery. He is responsible for: Preparing the patient for surgery, anesthesia administration Preparing the donor area for extraction and supervision of extraction process Making the incision sites Implantation of grafts in the critical areas
  8. Minox irritated my virgin scalp, Using it soon after a HT with delicate scalp doesn't bear thinking about.
  9. I was booked to fly out on the 2nd January for my HT in Ankara and return home on the 5th and I've had to cancel due to family problems but the booking process left a sour taste in my mouth. I forwarded my flight plan to the foreign patients manager asking if they looked okay and got an email back shortly afterwards saying the flights were okay and to go ahead and book them. I booked the flights and an hour later received an email saying she had made a mistake and could I alter my flight to come home a day later, I called Turkish airlines but they have a strict no change policy on the flight. The reason it wasn't an ideal flight was because I would be arriving on the Saturday night and the clinic was closed on the Sunday so I wouldn't be having my transplant til the Monday and my return flight was 9am on Tuesday 5th January. The Patients manager assured me it would be fine but when I pushed and asked her if they were going to open the clinic for me on the Sunday she said no they would just work in the time scale they had, which would have me going in to the clinic at 6:30 on the morning I leave to have my bandage removed and head washing. As the airport is a 40 minute drive from the clinic and my flight at 9am I felt this was less than ideal and I would be rushed around for no other reason than error on their part I should also add I paid 600gbp for flights for me and my father I plan on re scheduling on a later date but should alarm bells be ringing? Any thoughts?
  10. Wow that's an insane amount of grafts the costs must be eye-watering!
  11. I can't believe this creep is trying to defend the work done on the OP. Absolutely disgusting,
  12. I'm 26 years old and going for fue hairtransplant in January and to be honest I think your real hair looks better than that wig.
  13. European clinics and doctors are streets ahead of the UK surgeons. That's not to say there isn't butchers in Europe as there certainly is.
  14. Can't you just keep shaving it until it's coming in thick?
  15. It's A LOT better than before, given the rare circumstances here I think they done a great job with what they had.
  16. As above, loads of great doctors outside the UK where you won't be getting ripped off. You get what you pay for doesn't real hold much water with hair transplants as there have been thousands of great results for a fraction of the price of UK and US prices. Footballers and other famous people are well known for having the procedures in the UK which has really kept the prices at unrealistic levels for the general public.
  17. That's a great HT my hair is pretty much like yours in the before picture. Dr Civas will be doing mines and I'll be over the moon if my result comes out like yours.
  18. If you don't want to be on propecia for the rest of your days I suggest stopping it asap. I never touched that stuff due to possible sides. I would be bald as a coot before putting my sexual health at jeopardy but if you're going to use it you need to stick with it or else it's pointless.
  19. I was in your situation 5 years ago, using regaine which helped the crown area but receding continued. I stopped using regaine at about 24 as I couldn't be bothered with it anymore and shaved my hair which actually looked okay, I decided that I'd wait it out until my hair loss had stabilized and see what my options are. I'm 26 now and around norwood 5 with dense donor areas, I'm used to having my hair shaved now but I have always hankered to have my hair back. Going for my first HT in January with possibly another in a couple of years.
  20. It's important for several things. Baldness isn't one of them.
  21. I'd be pleased in your shoes and just relax now and wait it out. I'm going to Turkey in January for my HT and I know it's much easier said than done but I'm going to just relax and enjoy my re-growth phase. Is it advised to grow the hair at your stage or would it be okay to buzz it all until it was coming in thicker? I buzz my hair at the moment and it's okay (I'm also a Norwood 5a (ish) and I would be fine with having it short right up until the hairs were coming in thicker then I could grow it out?
  22. Wow. That looks no where near 3000 grafts.
  23. Did you not see the hairline when he drew it on? Surely then you could have said you don't like it?
