  1. Maybe your original concerns were correct, but does it take 12 months plus to see the full result? I must say this has put me off looking at this clinic. Have you got in touch with them?
  2. I would love to know how this turned out in the end... Am thinking of going to Dr Sebastian myself.
  3. Highly unlikely to be good as Bisanga. Though I did see him working with Bisanga recently, think it was on Instagram.
  4. there was a 'clinic' i had never heard of featured on a popular channel 4 programme recently. fuehairtransplantclinics.co.uk any idea what this is all about? is it a clinic or some sort of outsourcing thing. there appears to be no information about which surgeons are carrying out the procedure on the website, but i sort of figured if its being featured on a documentary then its trustworthy? sorry for bad english.
  5. i am certainly going to look into that, belgium is achievable. any idea how much the price difference would be on average to have the procedure in belgium compared to UK? my friend actually had a breast enlargement job done in Belgium for considerably cheaper than here!
  6. can anybody shed any light on what this site is all about ? : http://ukhairtransplantclinics.co.uk/ i remember it being featured on the BBC (tv channel) a while ago. However there is absolutely nothing about Doctors or surgeons on there, i have emailed them asking for names, with no reply so far.
  7. Thanks for replies. I understand whats being said, the whole abroad thing seems very daunting. Like theres no way i would go all the way to india for a hair transplant as i suffer with anxiety aswell. I have no idea how to search for doctors within the UK or any other place in europe for that matter. When i google for reliable hair transplants and those recommended within the UK, it still comes up with Harley Street
  8. i went to my GP to get a recommendation for the best/most trusted place to get an FUE hair transplant for my frontal hairline. sent me off and said he would call me the next day. when he called he said the only option really is 2 clinics and surgeons both on harley street, and both probably the most expensive in the UK i dont doubt :mad: i know my friend booked himself in the private clinic there, and it would cost him ?10.000 and from what i could tell very little work had to be done (he cancelled in the end as he later had financial troubles) im getting desperate now but literally have no idea where to turn, there are so many places offering the FUE but alot of them do seem extremely dodgy.
  9. you are right, though i am also confused by the whole issue of where the hair loss is inherited from? i always hear its the mothers line. if true that would make sense, as my grandfather had the same hairline as me all the way through to his 80s judging by the pictures of him. my uncle is in his 50s and also appears to have the same hairline. my brother also had the problem with the hairline when he was in his 20s. though he now has long flowing 'rockstar' hair, so its not noticeable at all, but it clearly has not gone back any further and he is in his 30s. i dont know whether its wise to think i will follow the same pattern as them
  10. hi. approximately 6 years ago, my hairline receded into nw2 (which is a guess) it may be nw3, im not sure, as its not THAT bad. but bad enough for me to be having issues. anyway this was quite a rapid thing, almost as if one minute the hairline was there, and the next it was gone ! and for approx 5 years now it has just stayed the same, it has not gone back any further at all, and i actually get the impression my hair in general has got thicker! (or so my hair dresser tells me) this may be down to the caffeine shampoo (alpecin) i have been using for many years. i am 28 now, and really getting fed up with the hair line. i tried propecia along with minoxidil 12% for 6 months and it make no difference at all, so i gave up with that rather than wasting more money. (this was from the belgravia centre in london) i am wondering if FUE will be the answer to my prayers, and how much it matters which clinic you go to? as the quotes between clinics seem bizarre, for example one in harley street charges ?8.000 for a procedure which ''the hair transplant clinic'' Hair Transplant UK | FUE Hair London | Female Loss Treatments Clinic seems to charge around ?2.500 for.
  11. Iv got 6 months of there minoxidil 12.5 for ?300. I decided to just go for it, as I cannot afford a hair transplant at all at the moment. Is the 300 overpriced do you think. I don't see much to compare it with, where else does such a formula as the 12.5 with acid ?
