  1. @ HTsoon I totally agree. @Rashid35 breakdown of dates and grafts are as below. (you can also find it on page 1 of this thread). PROCEDURE AND GRAFTS: Day 1 – Oct 12 th – scalp hair only – 2400 odd grafts for hairline and frontal 1/3 rd. Day 2 – Oct 13 th – scalp and beard mix – 2400 odd grafts (total 3640 grafts harvested from the scalp donor region on first 2 days which was higher than expected due to decent scalp donor density, on day 4 more scalp grafts were extracted) Day – 3 – Oct14 th – Beard hair only 2100 odd grafts for back and vertex. Day – 4 – November 2 – 2158 beard and head combination HT- combination beard and scalp donor hairs for whorl creation and the reminder of the scalp at the back Total 9058 grafts, unfortunately I do not have exact breakdown of 1's,2's, 3's and 4's. Regarding the price,it often varies with exchange rates and inflation, but once a clinic agrees on the price they never go back on it whatsoever. At present I believe it is little bit less than 1 pound sterling per graft. You can mail or call the clinic directly and ask. (obviously a steal compared to US prices) - specially when a HT surgeon can produce such results consistently.
  2. Thanks Chris39 - for me there has been significant changes over the past 3-4 weeks.
  3. When i did use Minoxidil (about 5-6 years ago maybe) initially my existing hair thickened but after few weeks the scalp started itching, scaling heavily with heavy hair loss. It actually accelerated my hair loss unfortunately!. Or so it seemed to me, I stopped using minoxidil after that.
  4. Agree, it looks good Dutchie!. My hairs started shedding after about 2.5-3 weeks and max at around 6-7 weeks I guess!.
  5. Amazing hairline!!, even though coverage in sunlight appears a little lighter compared to the pics taken in artificial light as expected....this result is still TOP-NOTCH, as I said your result has become a gold-standard for any NW6/7 HT surgeries. Specially the hairline looks very natural. No way to tell that this is a transplant!. I am very happy for you bro. Many years to come people will be quoting your thread to point out how a NW6 transformation would look like if everything falls in place. Many Congratulations.
  6. Thanks HTsoon!, aim is to ultimately reach the density achieved by your transplant!, seems like a gold standard in HT circles now-a-dayz:D. But overall I am very happy. I sent these pictures to my doctor and she said another 3-4 months are needed before some maturation and further growth fully manifests. Keeping my fingers crossed bro. Praying for both of us. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks E39, No meds, no supplements. Previously about 5-6 years ago I did use Minoxidil 5%,but it caused severe itching and scalp scaling. Currently on no meds.
  8. Here you go!!!, Just 2 days shy of 4 months!. I could not get good pictures of the back of crown but anyway the back of crown was done approx 2-3 weeks after the frontal 2/3rd. I thought I would update couple of months later but the growth seems to have accelerated off late. please see attached pictures, seems like there has been some good growth over past 2-3 weeks. Particularly with new hairs and thickening of the mid scalp and the crown as well. Still seeing numerous small whisp of hairs in between the current ones at this time. Hoping over next 3-4 months it fills in even better. Top picture is taken in direct light and uncombed hair. Comments and auggestions are welcome!. Link to the photo album is at the bottom. Thx. Apologize for inconsistent photo quality of some pictures, I think it is due to camera motion blur. Last picture shows the place where I started - a NW6/7 tothis so far has been amazing journey!. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/user_album_update.php?album_id=4452

  10. Dr. Arika Bansal,M.D. of Eugenix hair clinic, Gurgaon near New Delhi. You can google eugenix hair transplant India and browse thru their website. You can always pm me if you need more info.
  11. Looks great home1212...Dr. Rahal indeed did provide you with nice framing and density as well. Congratulations. You must be a happy customer.
  12. Dear Rashid, I think there are some wonderful suggestions here. I would say grow your hair out long for at least 6 weeks, then click some pictures and post them on this thread. I think looking at you beard the beard donor appears slightly limited as well. That is why Dr. Umar asked you to send in pictures of stomach, leg and other body hair pictures. If you are looking for affordable scalp and BHT combination then you might have to consider European (Turkey) or Indian doctors. Either way good luck with your research. I hope you find what you are looking for.
  13. Rashid35 - why dont you grow your hair out and post another picture say in 6-8 weeks time of your donor area hair?. At times when balding men cut their hair short so that it does not look awkward the back and sides may look like one may be having retrograde alopecia. Sometimes when you grow your hairs out it is easier to evaluate the same. I personally believe that if you have realistic goal then it is possible to restore cosmetically acceptable hair and hairline. (beard, chest and armpit hairs could be used as supplemental sources -- so post the pictures of ur beard and chest areas if feasible). All the best with your research --- do not hesitate to ask any questions.
  14. In India where I got it done, around 1/8th to 1/10th of what it would cost in USA.
  15. Nice write-up. Listening to all the stories by Dr. Bhatti's patients' seems like he takes great care of the patients'. Congratulations, the work looks great!, happy growing.
  16. Sounds fine, some pictures for sure will help. Don't fiddle with grafts for the first 10 days. After that in my opinion it does not matter. gentle wash of the donor and reciepient area helps. It could get itchy as hell when scabs are drying out, just don't scratch, apply something soothing as aloe vera. Hope this helps.
