  1. Results "look" great (pics aren't very good), but why would this patient use beard grafts when his scalp donor looks fine?
  2. I would bet those are just the grafts shedding their hairs which is normal......I had some small white bulbs/ crusts that shed also.
  3. The pictures are hard to see what the problem is but regardless of that the clinic has no good reason to not be responding to your concerns. It's also disappointing to hear that the moderators haven't responded either since it is one of their recommended surgeons. I wouldn't worry about harassing anybody, I think you should write the moderators again and try to call the clinic.
  4. From what I understand if you lose a graft there will be bleeding so if you didn't see any you are probably fine. My doctor wanted the scabs off by day 10 but I wouldn't be too aggressive with them.
  5. Looks great Johnny! Work looks clean and the pink is a good sign of healthy blood supply (from what I understand).....I think you are gonna be happy with your results this time.
  6. Hey Johnny, Congratulations! Now just be extra careful for about a month and follow your post op instructions and you will be good to go.
  7. Looks great Tav! Huge improvement already. You pretty much look like you have no hair loss.
  8. Looks awesome Pma! Looking forward to watching the back continue to fill in.
  9. I think maybe you haven't gotten a response because it's just hard to guess based on your pictures. I would guess around 1500 - 2000 grafts?
  10. Looks good Pma.....front looks done and the crown is coming along nice.....
  11. Maybe some extra saline spray. a clean cold pack (I wouldn't use it in recipient but good in donor for itch.....just make sure it's clean, you don't need infection) Asprin (my donor was sore (not bad though) for about a week. Stock up on easy to make food/ snacks, you probably wont want to go grocery shopping for a little while. Not a bad idea to wash your pillow cases and sheets right before you go for when you return also.
  12. I have an FUT scar and yes they can be that bad....mine is pretty wide and is ear to ear in a semi circle shape.....when my hair is grown out normal length for me you can't see it.....plus my hair below the scar is noticeably thinner than above. I have heard several times that the thinner hair below the scar has nothing to do with the strip surgery but it's odd that there is such a difference between the hair above and below the scar. I have seen other strip scars (online) that looked pretty good, but even a good one is gonna be pretty obvious with shorter hair. I have just had FUE and the scarring is much better.....but there is still scarring....it leaves tiny white dots from where the grafts were removed....they seem more obvious when looking from below up at the scalp, but they are pretty much only obvious if your scalp is shaved....having even a little length covers the fue scars. As far as yield I can't say since I just had my fue a month ago but the results I have seen online look like the yield is as good as strip. I will say this, if I had it to do over I would only want fue (only strip was available when I had my strip) and at some point I might have my strip "repaired" with fue grafts and even then I know they can only make it look so good. I know you feel desperate, but you are only 21 (I had my first surgery at 20 or 21) and there is life after 25, 30, 40 and so on. I always get a kick out of the people who say they wont care when they are 30, if you care now you will care then (although there is no doubt hair loss becomes more normal the older you get). My point in saying that is that you shouldn't rush into doing anything out of desperation.
  13. Hey Bart, I just had a recent fue and my grafts are different lengths also. I am thinking it is normal.
  14. It's an Erdogan result. Just right click and do a google search for the image.
  15. Thanks for the reply Seth. Have never used it before, hoping it can speed up my hair growth to cover my strip scar after being shaved for a recent fue.
  16. Thanks Spidey. I think I might get some Biotin tomorrow and give it a try.
  17. Thanks gillenator, I appreciate the reply. I am ok with trying it and it not working (and wasting my money and time). I am mostly worried if using them could actually harm new grafts (the yield from the recent procedure).
  18. Is it safe to use MSM & Biotin 3 weeks after an Fue transplant? Could this have any negative effects on the results? Will it increase the speed of regrowth of the shaved hair?
  19. I just had a procedure in Spain. I did a wire transfer of about half and carried the rest in cash (I bought Euros from my bank in the states before I went).... If you are worried about doing a wire transfer and letting it sit there, maybe you could buy euros now in the states and just hold them till you are ready?
  20. Possibly an electrical outlet adaptor if he is taking anything he is planning on plugging in (cellphone, Tablet, etc)? Tell him to carry enough in his carry on to "get by" in case his luggage gets lost (mine did). Maybe print out the addresses of the airport and hotel/clinic if he needs to use a taxi and can't communicate with the driver. I did not travel to Turkey.
  21. Looks awesome Pma! Your density on top is amazing.
  22. Looks great Tav! What a difference already and it's only five months, a lot more still yet to come in.
  23. Thanks Pma....My concern about the money is changing my USD to Euros.....Think I am going to do a wire transfer for about half of the procedure and get the rest from an ATM there in Madrid . Nowis.......I am booked for 2000 grafts on August 26th....I am from the US....have had transplants before in the 90's.....they turned out OK....have no donor in the back below my fut scar but above the scar is OK and sides are thick.....Dr. Lorenzo wants to start small....
