  1. Hi Pma, These are the questions I had: 1). Did you stay at the hotelamura and if so what did you think of it? 2). We're there affordable places to eat within walking distance to the hotel? 3).I am concerned about paying Dr Lorenzo, did you just pay the $1500 down payment and carry the rest? I am worried about how I will transfer USD to Euros. 4).How hard is it to get around as an English speaking person? Thanks again, looking great!
  2. Looks like it's starting to come in pretty good, all downhill from here
  3. Looking forward to that crown filling in! Hopefully 2 to 3 more months it should really start.
  4. I didn't consider 3500 grafts a mega session as I have regularly seen successful transplants of that number on this site. Is Dr. Feller saying that anything over 700 fue grafts is considered a mega session? I am hoping to have a couple 1500 - 2000 graft sessions over time and this worries me. I hope CPR sees his doctor quickly and gets a good recovery with good growth.
  5. Thanks Pma, looks like that is really going to fill in nice.
  6. Looks good Pma! Looking forward to seeing your crown progress. You said Dr. Lorenzo counted about 33 grafts/ cm in the crown, did he ever tell you about how many grafts/ cm are in the front?
  7. Did this guy have previous transplants before this surgery, or was this his first transplant? Where was the beard grafts used, concentrated in one area or spread throughout? Results look great!
  8. Glad to see you have recovered so quickly from that situation Tav. Thanks for posting the update and pics, real information from real patients is definitely the best source to learn from. Looking forward to your future updates.
  9. Hi Pma, you stated the Dr. Lorenzo managed to put a few grafts where your crown dips in the back, but it looks like the entire bald area in the back was addressed, is this incorrect?
  10. Congratulations Pma! Looking forward to your updates.
  11. Hey Pma, I was wondering if you could get a shot of the back of your scalp? How many grafts did Lorenzo estimate for your back? Thanks, Bob
  12. From what little I have seen about these fake hair implants, they are a terrible idea.....I remember seeing one guy where the fake hair was "rejected" and left him with a lot of scar tissue on his scalp.
  13. Looks like its gonna be a great result.....nice write up
  14. I think your statement about "having some very strong thoughts about the whole procedure with the Dr. and clinic I chose" is what got people's attention. I agree the results are all that matter in the end, but for those of us considering Lorenzo it leaves us wondering what thoughts you have. Some things are "undeniable" no matter what the results are, if your quoted price went up drastically when you got there or if Lorenzo wasn't involved at all in the surgery, etc....
  15. At the risk of being rude, I don't know why this thread was started if the OP isnt going to respond at all?
  16. Lorenzo's price is: The first 1000uf is 6€ per unit The second 1000uf is 4€ per unit And the rest is 2.5€ per unit last I heard. As a nw 6 you will typically need around 6000 grafts for decent coverage from what I have seen before.
  17. Wishing you great growth! You planning on growing it out at all or keeping it short?
  18. I don't know how to upload pics either but if you private message one of the moderators I'm sure they could tell you
  19. I remember getting bad vibes when I went to meet with a dentist about having my wisdom teeth (all 4) pulled. Just small things, like springs missing on the overhead lights they pull down to look at you, a desk clock that they drilled into the wall to make it a wall clock, etc....anyways, I made an appointment but still had bad feelings about the place. I debated canceling but was having problems with my teeth and already had the appointment set so I went. It ended up being a bad experience, was in the chair for 7 hours....he couldn't get the bottom two out and kept chiseling away......he kept leaving the room for like 45 minutes at a time and the gauze in my mouth was saturated with blood so I actually went through the drawers in the room and found some and changed it myself......I stopped him from even trying the second bottom one and he was like "when people do this they historically don't come back and have the last one pulled" and I was thinking no shit, they go somewhere else, which is what I later did, and had a great experience there. Moral of the story, trust your gut instincts.
  20. I am no expert but in a lot of the cases I have seen (online on this site) it seems like they normally wait at least around 6 months before doing another procedure. This is a good thread that I have been watching from a user named Peperoni. He went to Lorenzo and had 6000 grafts overall. I think 4000 scalp and 2000 beard (he used beard to address his scars also). His results are mostly on page 7 & 8 of this thread. I am considering Lorenzo as well but in this particular case Lorenzo did all of the extractions/ implantations on his own and now he is using techs more to do this. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/174504-scar-repair-fue-dr-jose-lorenzo-farjo.html
  21. Looks good, wishing you good growth....it seems like beard hair fue does well in scar tissue to help disguise scars. How much area did they cover with the 3000 grafts?
  22. I don't see any improvement Ht....I didn't want to say that and offend you, but no, I see no regrowth.....I am glad you didn't have the money at the time to pay for the 3500 grafts, because that would have been another 1100 that this doctor wasted....in my opinion you should get a full refund and go somewhere else
  23. I am not buying the "you lost the existing hair and replaced it with the grafts theory", 2400 grafts on a completely bald scalp should have shown much more improvement than this and has in many other cases. It's hard to tell from the post op pic, but it looks like most of the grafts were concentrated in the frontal 1/3 (maybe frontal 1/2?). If that is the case I would expect 2400 to give pretty good coverage for that area.
