  1. One last question. Sorry to spam you. Your native hair looks super dense. Was Dr. K able to blend your density on one pass?
  2. Thanks for the additional pics per my request. It looks well...perfect. Great plan and execution. Everyone done gushing over you yet?
  3. Thanks Spanker. It just seems like that's where the bulk of your work was thus my request.
  4. congrats and thank you for the update, I don't think anyone could want anything more than what you've got going on. If you find the time, I'd love to see a few pics of your hair pulled back with the recessed corners that you referenced. Again, congrats man.
  5. Check it before admins zap it NFL Might be more to Tom Brady's hair than eye can see - ESPN
  6. If you google Tom Brady and hair transplant, one of the first articles you'll find has a quote from Dr. K. I wonder how that came about.
  7. This is bad. First 24 hours will be miserable without. Contact your doc for an alternative med if vico isn't an option.
  8. I think it's progressively going albiet slowly. Hair Length can play a pretty big role in the appearance of mpb as we all know, and I think he's got a pretty good cut atm. So no FUE vote from me.
  9. Congrats on your procedure. I am in a similar situation. What is "in fill powder?"
  10. The premise of your question is kind of silly. Would you only want heart surgery from someone who underwent heart surgery? Or would you prefer it from someone who has taken the time to educate themselves on every pertinent facet of the procedure. While it's true that people who have undergone a procedure bring a unique perspective, this in no way makes them any more of an authority if an authority at all.
  11. Very impressive. The after pic denotes one week after procedure. Is that accurate? Great in that there is no redness, but is this perhaps misleading in that scar tissue is notoriously poor at retaining grafts? Lastly is this beard or scalp hair? How many grafts? Thank you very much for sharing.
  12. That is fantastic. I am genuinely smiling from ear to ear for this guy as I sit here.
  13. Fin is far and away the best thing for you imho...have you tried taking a reduced dose to curb sides? I take a kick ass multi vitamin (ortho core advanced series), 2,000mg msm powder, biotin which in theory creates healthier hair skin and nails, saw palmetto which is a natural dht blocker, rogaine 5% foam, and nizoral 2% shampoo twice a week. In my heart of hearts the only 3 I think that are worth a damn is the fin, minox, and the niz which you'll often times hear people refer to as "the big 3."
  14. Honestly I don't think anyone knows. I take them all as well as msm fin minox and niz 2% shampoo. I have maintained over the past ten years but would I have anyways without this regimen? I have no clue. the way I look at it is it won't hurt, it might help so why not. What I will say though is that I only started minox foam 8 months ago and I have noticed a bit of new growth and thickening of existing hair.
  15. I've heard that Rahal is "participating" in multiple procedures a day where as Konior is still extremely hands on and performing one procedure per day for what it's worth. If I'm you that might be my first question to both docs
  16. One last note, my doc did however recommend taking 1,000 mg of vitamin C daily to promote healing.
  17. I just had a procedure done and asked the same question. The answer I received was that I could resume my supplement regimen immediately but that he (the doctor) would however wait until I had run through the remainder of my antibiotics. Logically this makes sense to me as it's probably prudent not to further tax your kidneys and system otherwise given the meds and general trauma
  18. Good luck joker...will be watching your progress buddy
  19. Ugh, i had a ht when I was 23. It's the biggest regret of my life. get him on finasteride and minoxidil for at least a year to see where he's at before opting for anything else. On the positive side his hairline is in good shape but he's thinning. The two most successful (and only successful ) treatments out there have shown the best results with general thinning around the crown to midscalp. Once he has stablized and hopefully at least into his mid to late 20's then maybe consider going down the HT route. I wish you luck.
  20. Great work Dr. Lindsey. Are these results typical? If so, what do you attribute to your success?
  21. It is dry in the winter time....in a colder climate?
  22. Will consult w my doc...thanks very much
  23. I'm scheduled for a procedure in a few weeks and I was wondering what you guys think is the best concealer to be used post op. First criteria would of course be something that wouldn't in anyway be harmful to graft growth. For what it's worth, I'm having density added to existing grafts in my hairline (1,000). I'm somewhat fair skinned and and have light brown hair. Thank you very much in advance community.
  24. Same here...youre in the best of hands boulder. Hope youre feeling good and growing good where ever you are.
