  1. HTSoon - I agree it's the absolute worse feeling a man can experience in my opinion. It still haunts me as well. And then once we internalize it we can get performance anxiety which compounds the problem. I'm 33 now and although hair loss will definitely still bother me at this or older, I would rather have the function of my junk. I've cut back to 1/8th of proscar every other day. I will do this for a few months and taper off forever. This shit is not natural at all and it can't be a coincidence that so many people have had problems. I am aware some people have no problems whatsoever, but who knows 10-20 years from now. Rashid - with your level of hair loss, I see no reason to take finasteride. You should come up with a plan to best tackle your loss with SMP and hair transplant combination. The pill is used best to keep what you already have. You have almost nothing so I can't see how it would help. Why risk impotence.
  2. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I've already been to the doctors and had all the "test" and they came back normal. Seems like the doctors just does what big pharma says... "take these pills for a boner".. the end. I'm gonna try to find another doctor that will be more thorough and not just rush me out with a prescription. Good to hear you didn't lose additional hair. I too can't believe that I committed to taking this drug forever without knowing the long term effects. I hope I have the same result if I quit. I am ready to give up hair if it means a better sexual life. Pulling out a wet noodle with a hot woman and saying , " At least have a great head of hair".. is not how I can live my life. Anyways, I will keep this journey updated to help others in a similar situations. Cheers
  3. I have had 4 HT surgeries and taken propecia for 7 years. I'm terrified of quiting because of the progress I've made with my hair and the thought of losing all the hair around the transplanted is giving me nightmares. I don't even have enough in the donor hair bank to make it look normal should it all fall out. My erections have been getting softer for quite some time. I was too worried about my hair and took erectile boosting medication to cover up the weakness. Now it's not even helping that well. I am healthy, don't smoke, eat well, and have no reason to have ED. I'm only 33 years old! Also I stopped porn 60 days ago in case it was about that because youbrainonporn.com and many people have said that it could be the cause. Not sure what to do next. I'm now taking 1/4 of a proscar every other day. I think I'm gonna half that soon and see what my hair does for a few months. Then maybe half it again and reassess. Hopefully less of the drug will help my erections. If not I will quit all together and pray they come back and I'm not another story on propeciahelp.com Scary stuff. Do you think this is a wise plan. Anything you would do different? I won't use Minox, that stuff is straight poison to me. If worse comes to worse I'm hoping my I ca use my remaining grafts to cover what falls out and use SMP and rock a short cut. As short as my FUT scar will allow. fukc hair loss man
  4. Thanks for your update! Looks fine for 4 months, please keep coming back to update. Thanks!
  5. Hope all is going better. Do you mind posting some pictures of your current hair? Good Luck
  6. Well, after 4 HT I still have some thinness that bothers me and I cover it up with caboki on most days. I am getting very tired of using this stuff. It works well enough but it comes off when my GF touches my head or I lay on a pillow. That's embarrassing. I've decided to check out SMP to possibly fill some of the gaps in my crown where the HT did not fill. Are there any results of people that have hair but want to make the illusion of more hair? I only see people that want to get the shadow shaved looked. Unfortunately, that will never be possible for me because I've had a FUT. I do hope that if I shave down to a 4-5 blade that SMP will still look good. Anyways, I would prefer permanent SMP. Is there a clinic that is recommended here for this. I saw that Dr. Pak and Dr. Rassam in Cali do this permanent SMP. Has anyone used them for what I'm looking for? The only problem is they seem so expensive. I might just get another FUE. Dr. Yaman in turkey would be cheaper than SMP... so I'm torn. Thanks for your advice!
  7. Do you mind posting pics to show this "full head of hair" after only three months? I'm consider this doctor so would love to see more photos and write ups. Thanks
  8. These are great result! I pretty jealous considering what has been put in my crown.
  9. Sometimes I wish this website which is supposed to have our best interest in mind, would screen their doctors better and remove them if they are not up to the standards or performing surgeries that are not in the top tier of results. One of these doctors is in the 'coalition' here and the other isn't. Guess which one isn't. I also appreciate when doctors study and present you with the parameters and quality of your donor hair with scientific means. Instead of just looking at it and saying " yeah I can get 3000 out of it" then hitting 3000 grafts on the mark somehow. Also does anyone notice how Dr. Lorenzo 2800 grafts goes and is spread out way more and denser then mot doctors. I've seen many doctor put 3000-4000 in the front third. Or in my case just in the crown(5000) I wish I could afford Dr. Lorenzo. He is the best FUE doctor around.
  10. Good luck with your growth. I am also considering surgery with Dr. Yaman. If you could post pictures of the graft placements and the work it would be of great service to the forum. Is there anything more you can tell us about the surgery? How long have the techs been working there? How present is Dr. Yaman? How many patients a day? Thanks!
  11. Has anyone here had surgery with this doctor? I like that he considers that the grafts being out of the body for the shortest time is important and can help yields. He also includes PRP, hotel, and everything else in a low packaged price. He is the most economical recommend doctor on the site and the value is amazing. Results on his website are impressive. I was hoping to get some anecdotal experiences from s member here. Thanks!
  12. I would take a look at Dr. Yaman who was recently recommended. All inclusive price that includes PRP as well.
  13. No question. Dr. Koray. They use manual punches and specialize in FUE only. Dr. Rahal hasn't been doing FUE for nearly as long. Plus the cost is cheaper.
  14. Dr. Lorenzo is a FUE wizard. I wish I had the money to go to him. You'll be happy with the results. Happy Growing
  15. As another guy that had a ton of grafts in the crown and still has see through hair, I can tell you that it's no easy feat to fill it in. I've had about 5500-6000 grafts roughly... I think I'm going to look into SMP for the crown and save everything I have left for the front 1/2.
  16. You should get in contact with the Dr. privately for now and get an explanation. Tell him that you are a doctor as well and that you counted 1500 incisions. I hate to say but even though a doctor is recommend here doesn't mean they wouldn't try to squeeze out extra cash. Because in 99% of cases nobody is going to count each incision. The fact the other doctors told you 1500-2000, would get my spidy senses a tingling.
  17. Yeah that is some difficult donor to work with. The outcome is great considering. Why don't all clinics hire a massage therapist to come in for an hour or two to help with the pain of laying awkwardly for 12 hours.. It would cost like 100-200 bucks.. considering the cost of surgery, this is hardly anything. I think more clinics should consider this.
  18. 100 or so. Click on my name and look for my post. With a little initiative you can find everything.
  19. Dr. Bhatti does great beard grafts into scars. Search my pics and you can see. I recommended him.
  20. Agreed for a third. This thread is to discuss and admire an amazing feat that turned this guys life around. Especially when other people were telling him that he wasn't even a candidate for surgery when he first posted here. This result is simply amazing, period.
  21. Thanks for the advice Garageland. I have been in touch with David at the clinic as I already sent in my photos. Here are some more pics and donor pics. Dr. bhatti did a great job concealing the scar with beard grafts.
  22. Donor is still pretty thick believe it or not. Not sure the actual density as none of my previous surgeons told me exactly, just said it's "good".
