  1. Do you mind sharing the price structure at this clinic? I am also considering this doctor as well as ASMED clinic. I like how this clinic achieves great results with a less amount of grafts compared to ASMED. Thanks!
  2. ASMED hands down. Dr. Ergodan isone of the best FUE doctor there is. The way he provides specific breakdowns or hairs used, tells you about details such as total hairs available and so on. Way more detailed then any other surgeon I used. One I used is in the coalition here and another is recommended... both gave me average results and have multiple reports on here of dissatisfied patients. ASMED on the other hand has zero bad reports and countless before and after pics that are up close and detailed. I'll be going there for my next surgery. You are lucky you are close by.
  3. Just went back to see where you started. WOW! Dr. Koray did it again. Amazing transplant. Can't wait until summer to see this hair magician.
  4. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185343-temporal-point-looks-very-unnatural-after-fue-advice-needed.html Ive had 4 procedures. You can search them through my screen name. My last doctor(recommended here) put 2-3 hair grafts in the hairline and temples which looks pretty unnatural. So I need to get some repair work and at some density to see through parts that I still have even though I had 8000 grafts. And I had a lot of hair when I started... My case was just unlucky. Wish I went with the best doctor from the get go. Instead I chose price as my deciding factor. If money is no problem for you, go with Dr. Lorenzo. Check his results on youtube.
  5. It's hard to say. I was really turned off by Dr. Bisanga latest patient on here that had terrible temple work done. Not something a top doctor should let out of his office. I like Dr. Lorenzo (not on site), but don't let that deter you, there are some doctors that are recommended here that shouldn't be.. Dr. Deip and ASMED. I would have to chose ASMED because of money constraints. But I would still feel like I was going to a world class clinic. They put out more great results on these site then any other doctor, in my opinion. I think any of these doctors could FUE into you scar. The outcome is more dependent on you scar characteristics.
  6. ASMED is putting some of the best work out period. Consistent results one after another. For the price and results, going here is a no brainer. The are wizards at FUE and top 3 in the world, if not first in my opinion. I have decided I am going when I need my next surgery. Keep up the good work!
  7. 500 in the crown... I've had 5000..... still have see through spots... Not all doctors produce the same work has never been truer.. Mine is in the coalition as well. Wish i could afford to see Dr. Diep.
  8. This is great. You don't see many doctors that are already successful and making tons of money, take take the time to KEEP innovating and improving their techniques. This certainly makes me want to have surgery at ASMED even more than before bc of Dr. Erogdans dedication.
  9. Had anyone ever used IPL hair remover? IPL and Laser Hair Removal - Electrical Beauty Hair Removal - Boots I'm looking at these. Did it remove the hairs completely or did they grow back thinner? This might be a good option for those of us that have unnatural looking growth in the hairline and temples.
  10. I came to a short term solution that looks way better. I just plucked out most of the transplant hairs that were in the temple areas that looked unnatural. Most were indeed two hair grafts and pitch black compared to my other natural hairs in the area. I don't see why doctors don't use nape hair only in this area. Why would a doctor think putting black 2 hair grafts in such an area was a good idea baffles me a bit. Anyways glad I just stepped up and plucked em out. I'm buying one of those for home use hair removers that use bright flashed of light to hopefully shrink the hairs or removed them.
  11. I'm in the same predicament. I would love to go to ASMED but my bank account yes Dr. Yaman. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of having many donor hair left so I might just wait and save up to go with the best in Turkey, which I believe is ASMED from posts on this site
  12. Anybody else think that this does a major disservice to the impartiality of this site? If you're gonna post results, I think the doctor should have to be named. Not just keep it a secret because you want to hedge your results against another procedure or refund in case the doctor gets vindictive.
  13. I'm dealing with a similar situation. I think temple points are extremely difficult to get right for almost all doctors. That's why many top doctors don't even perform it. I would advise people to skip the temples unless their doctor has lots of photo evidence and skill in performing this skill.
  14. How do you guys manage to get replies back from Dr. Nader? I'v emailed and emailed.
  15. There's good reason why Dr. Konior is booked a year in advance. Arguably the best hair surgeon in the world. Worth waiting if I can afford it.
  16. Spanker, Does Dr. Konior only use one hair grafts in the hairline or temples?
  17. Great find. Definitely gonna look into this. I was under the assumption that the laser would just kill the entire follicle. Hope this works!
  18. It's not that I needed a 5x mirror. I could see it looked harsh in a regular mirror. I just didn't realize that many hairs are multi hair. In places like the temple points and hairline it looks out of place. Is it because when they FUE it's hard to find 1 hair grafts? Can't they split them under a microscope? Not sure if its the same as FUT in which the split hairs under microscopes. I'm gonna have to get these lasered out so it's a wasted 100-200 grafts I'm sure. Luckily this isn't the end of the world and I will be able to make it look better.
  19. The higher part of the temples was Dr. Pong. But Dr. Bhatti then added hair to lower the temple. They mostly appear to be one/two hair grafts but they look harsh. Also he put a 2-3 hair graft smack in the middle of my hairline. The Techs do the implanting so it was probably a careless placement by them. I Edit: I also want to say that I think Dr. Bhatti did an alright job. All the hair seemed to grow and the beard hair into my old FUT scar worked as well. So this thread isn't about discrediting a doctor. I think some doctors are better at the fine tuning and creating a natural hairline and temples than others. I got one of those 5x mirrors. I didn't realize that so many multiple hair grafts were smack in the middle of my hairline. I added some more pics. 2-3 hair graft in the hairline. I posted a pic that was pre-op and where Dr. Bhatti put grafts in the hairline. The work by Dr. Pong is in my receded corners of the hairline. He used one hair grafts in the hairline. So the middle hairline is now way darker and harsher.
  20. Has anyone had unwanted hairs removed from their hairline using FUE. Was the scarring visible? Can you reuse the hairs and place them else where. I have transplanted hair into the temple points(I guess that's where) and they look too fake thick. I've been asked several times why the hair looks so strange.. I'd rather have the natural wider forehead. Can I just get then FUE out? It would be easy for the doctor to see which hairs are transplanted bc they are so thick. Looks pluggy and fake. I also have a few 2-3 hair grafts in the hairline (from a doc on this site nonetheless). Here are some pictures. Thanks for your opinions.
  21. Wow, sorry about you predicament. I would choose option 3 and just better yourself with a hat on. You can study your as off and exercise like a mad man. You'll come out of it smarter and in great shape. Get a new job and start dating again while being the new you. I hope you surgery is all you hoped it to be. But be prepared for it not to be the amount of hair you anticipate. I, too, put my life on hold and did all kind of wacky stuff in life that set me back while waiting for hair to grow in. In the end, I was just chasing more hair and not progressing my life as a professional or a mate. After 4 procedures, I still don't have the hair I desire but have finally accepted that it is what it is and I can't keep fretting about it. Who was your doctor BTW? You should share you procedure with the board since we are all here to support each other and your results could inspire some one else to fix their insecurities. Good Luck!
  22. I think in Turkey it's quite common and also other clinics around the world. It's a labor intensive procedure and I don't think all parts of the procedure are as technical as some doctors in the USA would have you believe. Don't think you need 8 years of school and 4 years of residence to do it, once you have a lot of experience. Would you trust a hair tech with only nursing credentials but 10-15 years of experience doing FUE or a Dermatologist doing FUE for only a year. This is the only reason I consider going to Turkey because most of the tech are highly skilled and the prices are great. I'm certain there are tons of clinics in the USA charging 3-8$ a graft and produce sub-par results. All that matters is the outcome. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
  23. Chitttttt. I was considering him since I've seen some outstanding results but this one bothers me. I'm thinking Dr. Yaman it is after this. I was wanting see more grown out procedures of his work before committing and since Dr Civas does have a lot of results on his website and on baldtruth.com, I decided for him... but now... I can't make a bad choice since my donor hair is limited.
  24. Thanks so much. I feel better hearing that. Looks like I'll be going with Dr. Civas. He was never on my radar because he's not recommended here but I see he does great work. I had surgery with two recommended doctors here and I'm not happy with how it turned out and how much hair was wasted. Good to know they're others.
