  1. Nice result. He looked 45 before the surgery not 32. Now he looks his age. Great transformation
  2. Don't even think about a hair transplant for that crown, it's not that bad at all. Like Spanker said, let finasteride take action for 5 years and then see where you're at. For now if it bother you, use Caboki concealer, it will work wonders for your hair.
  3. Any ethical doctor would not perform surgery on you so be aware of that. You need to chill and enjoy you hair. Put your energy to something productive.
  4. I'm confused as well.. I had 8600 grafts and was never near his baldness... Now his hair is thicker than mine. Is this a result of finasteride? It surely can't be the result of just 2500 grafts.
  5. so far so good. Do you plan on addressing the other areas later? I couldn't imagine being that bald at only 20. Your youth just stripped away, I don't blame you for trying to get some hair even if many will say you are too young. I would have done the same. Life is a cruel mofo sometimes. Hope you keep the progress and restore some youthful hair for the rest of your 20's!
  6. I would have went with a FUE from Dr, Koray Ergodan. I have went through his youtube videos and he seems like a perfectionist. He has blown up pictures of his patients on the wall as he works. Manual extraction. The results are always great and amazing value for the price. I would have shaved my head shorter by now if I kept losing hair and kept getting more surgeries. But that is not an option since my first surgery was a FUT. My scar got way worse after my second FUT. Dr. Bhatti did make it better after adding FUE to the scar but I haven't cut it short to see what I can get away with. But I know I will never be able to shave below a 4-5 blade bc of the strip scar.
  7. Not so sure that is so much better than a FUE... Looks a bit sparse and pluggy. Granted it's got more time to grow and mature. How is the scar in the back? Looked pretty bad earlier.
  8. I think you should read up on my thread. I have had 4 transplants and 8600 grafts. Mostly in the crown too. It isn't called the blackhole for nothing. I saw some good crown results with half the grafts I had and I thought I would be as fortunate. Sometimes it always doesn't turn out as we plan and hope. It's better to save what you have because we all eventually run out
  9. Yeah I saw a photo of my hair in natural light from a distance and it didn't even look like I was balding so this photos show the worse it looks. After swimming or the beach is when it would look then and shitty but to many it's better than being totally bald. My donor is still pretty thick considering how much has already beed harvested. I get the friar tuck look when it grown bc the sides are so much thicker than the top. I think I have about 3000 left FUE plus beard hair. So I'll keep that in the bank until I'm 40 and reassess the situation^^
  10. Thanks Garageland for your reply. There has been a lot of frustration indeed and I never imagined that this is how the road would lead but I am happy overall even though I've been through so much. My hair does look ok dry and styled with a bit of Caboki. The pics I posted are the worst possible reflection of the hair because I wanted to see the scenario without sugar coating it to see where my hair could be heading I am not getting a surgery anytime soon at all, I don't have the money to blow and it has been an unhealthy obsession for the past 5 years of my life. I'm going to enjoy my hair for what it is even though it's not as perfect as my unrealistic expectations. Dr. Beehner gave me such sound advice years ago and everything he said is happening. Let this be a lesson to other forum members who get advice from doctors with history and wisdom. Some of them have your best interest in mind,
  11. Thought I'd share some pics with wet hair. Wow wet hair is scary really shows the thinning hardcore. My mid scalp is thinning and that's my new reality... I hope between my beard and what's left of my donor, I'll be able to address what falls out in the future. Is the cure still 10 years out??lol A few dry pics show an area in my part that looks bad still even after all the grafts. I'm 10 months post-op Dr. Bhatti BTW
  12. Check out my crown case.. It wasn't with Dr. Hasson but another coalition doctor. I had roughly 5000 into a similar size area and still had to get more from Dr. Bhatti in my last case.. It is still see through in one area but it's much better and I'm happy. What a hell of a road to get there. Crown are not easy. I understand why you are unhappy it doesn't look like much of change and I remember being in your exact shoes. My doctor did give me a free 2000 FUE though so that was ethical.
  13. That is a no guard so it is a zero. I was saying that my scar could be seen with a 4 before. This picture was before another FUE surgery and FUE was put into the wide scar areas. I have not cut it short since but it's summer so I may see if I can pull a 4 off. I am 9 months from my last surgery.
  14. Here are FUE scars and a FUT scar from a coalition doctor. You can decide which would be better with short hair. I think the FUE is more tolerable but there are still scars with a buzz. Although I couldn't even hide this FUT with a 4 blade on the sides. The back of the head would cover because hair grew through the scar but they didn't on the sides.
  15. I use Paul Mitchel Lemon Sage thickening shampoo. It does a great job at adding volume. I recently added the PM Lemon Thickening Spray and it works brilliantly! Spray it in your hair while it's towel dry, then brush it through. Then I blow dry my hair about 3-4 minutes later. Really thickens my hair up! https://www.paulmitchell.com/our-products/tea-tree/tea-tree-lemon-sage/lemon-sage-thickening-spray/
  16. I guess you missed my case. I've had about 6000 in the crown that looked like his at the start. His is thicker than mine is now even after all the grafts I had. This is an impressive result and wish I had went with this doctor for my first crown procedure.
  17. I like how you try to take jabs at Dr. Bhatti at any opportunity. Dr. Bhatti's work looks better than this and I can tell you that the grafts that Dr. Bhatti put in my hairline are denser than that of a coalition doctor that put FUT grafts there before that hardly grew. So much for FUT having a better survival rate. It's obvious you have some sorta of axe to grind for whatever reason.
  18. If I could do it all over again I would have waited until 30 years to do any surgeries. I would have also went for a FUE, probably with Dr. Bhatti the quality/price ratio is great. With beard grafts and body hair FUE can accomplish a lot. I could then shave my hair to a 3-4 blade is things got really bad in the future. Now I am stuck with a giant wrap around scar as can be seen in my photos. Dr. Bhatti did repair it with beard grafts so it does look better, but I will never be able to shave to under 3-4 blade. 1st Dr Pong - $3200 2nd Dr. Panine - $9,000 3rd Dr. Panine - Free 4th Dr. Bhatti - $3000
  19. I will definitely hold onto everything possible including beard and chest grafts, that if I need I will go back to Dr. Bhatti. I most likely will because I can tell areas of my mid scalp are thinning. My journey is probably far from over. Who knows I might break the graft record at this point. Finasteride is not holding onto what I had as well as I hoped. I'm 32 but my hair does look better than I was 27 so at least I have something to show for all this money and stress of hair surgeries. I pray it stays that way for awhile. Thanks for the good luck wish!
  20. If you want to see how many grafts the crown can eat up, check out my thread. I've had roughly 6500 grafts put there by one coalition doc and one recommended doctor.
  21. $1500... wow talk about gouging. I much work could that actually take 2-3 hours tops.
