  1. Hi There is no real scaring however as my donar area is limited and lots of hair has been taken you can tell that something is missing or its not the same consistency for the back area BUT ... if you cut hair regularly or grow it long enough, you can hardly tell.
  2. hi how do i add another photo album

btw - thanks a lot to your website - really helped me out - appreciate your efforts

  3. Hi Guys! Surgery - primehairstudio.com Location Mumbai (india), Doctor - Dr Sulochana. Costs - 120,000 rupees (approx) for 3000 grafts Time - 12 - 14 Hours Date of Surgery - May 1 2015 Date of Review - July 6 2015 Norwood - 5/6 Age 30 Balness started - 21 Original Post - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/179421-my-fue-3100-grafts-india.html Aim - To get an ok-ish coverage, not expecting much due to severe baldness/family history and minimal donar area .... See my last pic to see how i used to look prior to a HT Ok - so day 65 - the 2 month mark and all is going well .... growth, thickness, haircuts etc When I started looking into HTs I was honestly not expecting much - a simple hairline, a little bit of stubble would have been sufficient and anything else would have been a bonus. Being realistic, I knew that my hair/head would not look like it did when i was 22 (now im 30). I am daily taking a 1mg Finisteride tablet and applying minoxidil twice a day in the hope that it will do some magic. Hair cuts - I do not wish to grow my hair long (more than grade 4), or have a long hair hairstyle, use gel/wax style etc (not my aim at the moment). Butt .... I know what type of hair style I want - that is short back and side (buzz cut). As my hair on the sides is thicker and grows faster than the HT hair on top, i have started going to the hairdressers in an attempt to look more presentable. For the last 3 weeks I have simply cut the sides at a zero grade (nothing but skin) and then the top i have left to grow or slightly trim (grade 1.5-2) to give an even look and a nice blend. Overall I am happy with the results especially on day 65. I also like the hair line as its straight and looks good without needing any work to shave or shape. I am now looking to get another transplant using body hair and as much of the hair i can use from the back of my head to fill in missing areas and what i need to do in order to make my head look good. Anyways guys ... as always i appreciate feedback (good or bad). What do you think of this HT so far bearing in mind it only cost ?1k and i was originally a Norwood 5/6 and this is just the first procedure of 2.
  4. Hi i wanted to ask about prices as im thinking about procedure 2 .... INDIA only .... (as i will be going on holiday again in December). i want 3000 more grafts from the back of the head and also potentially 1000 from my beard .... do you know what doctors charge for this, which clinic and doctor .... Amit
  5. Hi Rawkerboi to be honest i didnt know this site even existed else i would have done. Ok which doctor would you recommend in the Mumbai area and whats the cost? I want to plan my next sessions soon. Also how many of the Indian doctors have you surveyed to date? How do they get on your approved list? Amit
  6. Hi, I shall upload some pics later on ... btw my profile pic - is my before pic ... change it soon! I have only put in 3000 grafts and covered 3/4 of my head. What are your thoughts ... does this approach sound strange, weird, odd ... would love some comments feel free to criticize if need be! My aim is to have the first 3/4 of my head looking real good and especially thickening the front hair line - in total 5000 grafts (another 2000 at the end of the year). Im not really concerned with the crown/back as much so will distribute 2000 around the crown/back of the head (1000 beard hair and 1000 fair from back of the head). The hairstyle which i wish to get is one which is grade 3 on top, 0.5 on the side, blended/faded with a straight square hair line (similar to how the average black man has it in the UK) Like my dad, grandad and uncles, I will be generically a Norwood 6/7 so got to think realistically as i have limited donar hair. I do not wish to grow my hair long and comb/spike/style it as i think it will look stupid/thinning if not dense. What do you think?
  7. Hi Surgery - primehairstudio.com Location Mumbai (india), Doctor - Dr Sulochana. Costs - 120,000 rupees (approx) for 3000 grafts Time - 12 - 14 Hours The whole set up/service, look and feel is tailored more for the 'local indian market' so will feel different to what you would expect in UK at Belgravia centre (London). Quality of the transplant id say should be similar - I have no complaints and that comes from someone who loves to complain about anything and everything i buy lol .... Overall ... ?1000 or ?6000+ for a procedure .... what would you rather pay? Its been exactly 31 days since my 3000 graft procedure. I had no real expectations in all honesty and thought to myself, 'its only a thousand pounds ... what ever. If it works it works, if not then its only a grand lost rather that 6 or 7 if id have gone in the UK. Im not really that bothered about hair tbh, Even when i was young i used to cut short every year or so. I would never spend ?20k plus for a HT in the UK and have been more or less bald since 2008. I am more than happy with the progress so far (hope it stays that way) and ive been told theres more to come. Ill be going on holiday again to India so will do another 3000 back of head and 1000 beard hair transplants most likely. India Vs Turkey .. i looked at both these prior to going also due to costs. The Turkish websites - look and feel more professional however i can not comment on their 'quality' as ive not inspected them or had work done. Anyone can pay to get an incredible web site. I assume that they will be more in line with UK/US in their feel due to their European clientele. Then again ... its all about the quality of work and results! Flights - both to Mumbai and Turkey cost around 400 - 500 quid from the UK (if you book in advance) Language - I think this is an important factor to consider for someone, The doctor does understand English to a good standard but obviously got confused and I had to repeat myself a few times during conversation (maybe my Leicester accent). The staff within the clinic do not speak English fluently (but do understand and communicate basics which is sufficient for this type of surgery), I love to ask questions, get re assurance, etc etc just to ensure they were doing their job properly for this reason. If you are not used to this way of communication then India may scare you especially when it comes to medical procedures. However Im sure there are more 'westernised' and UK type clinics but obviously you will be paying more .... As im Indian and have had ops before in India im used to this style of working. Obviously its a risk ,.. but not major one for me. However im sure white people would get scared lol If you are going to consider a clinic - India or Turkey - make sure that there are a few people that speak English to a decent standard or you learn the local language! Clinic Set Up - It had all the things you would expect in a clinic and was clean and tidy as you'd expect. Again it will not be up to UK/US standards but Indian standards eg some parts may look cluttered, wires sticking out the wall, some staff eating there dinner in the reception area, on phones etc ... This would never happen in the UK! Customer Service - Raghav is the customer service rep and he answered 100% every question I had prior, during and after the surgery via whatsapp/Viber. Dr Sulochana also took time to speak to her. Its was really good for Indian standards. This is needed because im sure you will be scared/have millions of questions! There are lots of clinics in India and the prices for 3000 grafts will vary. I had quotes for 600 quid to 3000 quid, my opinion is that you wont know what you got until you see the results as everyone talks positivly. There are lots of clinics who are more interested in gettin your money than delivering results, The reason why I chose Prime was due to Raghav the customer service rep. He answered all questions no matter how stupid, and still to this day answer them lol Day 31 - im happy with my hairline and results .... I will 100% be going back to these guys for my 2nd session (December). If anyone wants to come let me know ...
  8. Hi guys how are you all. Just wanted to ask a question. I'm on day 12 and have noticed that the hair is falling out. I'm assuming this is not normal is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Also I still have lots of scabs. I lightly shower with special shampoo and not rubbing hard. Please see my pics
  9. Hi guys thanks got your reply. The aim was to cover half head in this session. Create front hair line thicker and then average spread in half of head. I will go again in December to do another session I did the transplant 7 days ago now How should I approach the next transplant? I have enough for another 2000 gem back of head and also can use 1000 from beard do you think my results will be good? I'm not bothered about full head coverage as long as 2/3 of head is covered to a good standard.

    nice results!
  11. Hi Guys Thanks for visiting my thread, ive read lots on here and just got the courage to post pics. Can you please take a look at my pics and give your honest feedback on my procedure (dont worry my feelings wont be hurt if negative). Im from UK, FUE done in India (cheap) Operation - 13 Hours Dr and Assistant Grafts - 3000 (apparently) Questions A) What do you think of my results? B) Do you think I should have a 2nd procedure in December? C) You think my density is correct - she did more at front and then less in middle? D) Where do you think I should get next FUE planted? Continue to build density or spread to bald areas?
  12. Hi My name is Am and i am 30 and have been going bald/hair thinning since 20 ... I believe i will be a norwood 6/7 in a year or 2 as its continuously thinning. I am an Indian male and naturally hairy - - thick hair on the sides of my head, - thick hair on my face (beard), - Medium thick hair on cheast, legs, arms etc So have plenty of hair on my body I am looking for a hair transplant - FUE but can not afford the prices in the UK. Does anybody know of clinics in Europe that are good, and cheap? I would like as much hair as possible so looking for over 3000 grafts if that is possible. Is 5000 grafts realistic? I have heard that Turkey is good .... Thanks Am
