  1. That's why I asked Dr Wong to increase the density in my left side. Dr Wong had a HUGE area to cover, so I was not concerned about it. If my left side is still thin after this 2nd surgery then I will be concerned, but I think Dr Wong got it taken care of in the 2nd surgery. __
  2. In JMG544's blog he mentiones how much discomfort the staples caused him. I think he said he also had terrible itching. But I agree that for me a 2nd surgery was no sweat and absolutely worth it.
  3. This is a fantastic result. I'm glad the patient is happy and able to move on with his life.
  4. Wow Dr Lindsey. This will change this kid's life. It's fantastic that today's technology allows this kid to get his life back.
  5. Would you post the link to that album with your photos of Thailand? I looked at your Hair Blog, but didn't see any sight seeing photos. Thanks!
  6. Yeah some of us aren't as lucky as you and only need 1 surgery to have amazing results. When you are a Norwood 6 V you better be mentally prepared for at least 2 to 3 surgeries. -
  7. Looks good mav. How many grafts did you get and what does Dr Path charge? Did you do any sight seeing?
  8. Do you have any immediate post-op photos? How many grafts did you receive?
  9. Dr Wong said the donor closure was very tight, so he wasn't sure. I might have to go FUE for my 3rd surgery.
  10. Thanks Bill! Dr Wong was really aggressive and he was able to get 3,100 grafts. He said the donor closure was tighter than he liked, so he asked me to keep the staples in for 14 days. But it's worth it to get that many grafts.
  11. HMO- Your scar is really visible even all the way up to the 3 month mark! Weren't you alarmed by this? How do people go back to work after 1 or 2 weeks if the scar is visible like that?? I thought the scar should be invisible once there is a cm of hair. Also, your scar is super high up to the temples... how do you know that area is not immune to future loss. Here is a photo of the back of my head at 11 weeks. My hair is fairly short, because I had shaved my entire head 14 days after my transplant to make it easier to have my staples taken out.
  12. I had my 2nd Hair Transplant with Dr Wong. Here are my photos: This is what my hair looked like from my first procedure. We took a photo before it was shaved off: Here are the grafts placed in the Crown: Here are the technicians working on the density of the left side: I asked Dr Wong to move my recession forward on my left side: My density was better in the right side compared to my left, so I asked Dr Wong to focus on the hairline, crown, and left side: I am looking forward to what this looks like in a year. Edit: This is where I started from:
  13. Wow. Unbelievable. If you made these comments to your hair transplant surgeon then they are a fool to have operated on you.
  14. Hey Joered, I purchased an oversized Under Armour hat. I then cut a piece of cloth off of a black t-shirt. I rolled that cloth up and placed it on the inside part of the hat(Where it rests on your forehead). Putting the piece of cloth in makes the hat not slide down over your eyes and it keeps it above your grafts slightly. Works great for me.
  15. Congratulations Joe. Your hair looks great and going strong. It looks even more impressive in person.
  16. Thanks TheEmperor. I will give your recommendation a try.
  17. Thanks splitting hairs! Thank god for concealers.
  18. Thanks Bill! Can you tell me how many grafts you got out of your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th surgeries?
