  1. I agree with you Than. Your hair still looks great! If Dr Feller believes you qualify for PRP I would go that route and save your grafts for down the road. I am going to print out your hair regimen and use it when I have more growth. Thanks so much for taking the time to share this info with us.
  2. Did Dr Umar tell you how long you would have to wait before getting the free grafts to fill in the gaps?
  3. Holy Cow! Dr Wong hit this one out of the park! Congratulations hairshare you look phenomenal!
  4. Does anyone know what happened to Business Teacher's web blog? I can't find it.
  5. Congratulations Shlomo. You can tell your hair transplant with Dr Hasson has renewed your confidence and changed your life. I'm happy for you.
  6. I guess having a good donor supply is one positive if you need a hair transplant.
  7. Which clincs have you spoken with so far? Hasson and Wong use lateral slit incisions. Actually Dr Wong is the creator of the lateral slit incision and was kind of enough to share this technique with the rest of the hair transplant industry.
  8. Thanks Spex. I didn't realize how accurate your quote: "It's a MARATHON - no a sprint!" was. LOL!
  9. Thanks Jim! That's great news about the 5 month mark! The wait is the hardest part of this whole thing so your words of encouragement help tremendously!
  10. Here's my 4 1/2 month update. I'm very happy with my progress. This is where I started from:
  11. Looks great Mane! Dr Rahal did a great job with your hairline. Congratulations!
  12. Thanks everyone for your nice comments. The waiting sucks, but hearing your words of encouragement makes me feel better.
  13. Drew, are you suggeting just directly under the jaw because it heals better or because it's harder to see? I wonder if I would then be able to get the necessary amount of grafts I need. In addition, I would like to have where the grafts are taken evenly spread out and not thin out just one area (ie, directly under the jaw). I am talking about the area below your mandible area to the top of your neck. The area where noone can see it unless they were to bend their knees and look under your chin. It would also be a good way to test if you do scar. If you have maxed out your strip surgeries then this seems like an option to me. However, I am not sure how many beard hair grafts this could yield for you. Did Dr Umar say he could use chest or leg hair for your crown, also? I read that body hair's growth cycle is 50% compared to head hair's 90%, but I am sure you are already aware of this. I still believe it's a good option, for your Crown, for someone in your position who has maxed out their strip donor.
  14. I look at this in a different way. If someone wanted a more aggressive hairline they could use this hair that "may" be susceptible to loss as you age. If you lose that lower hairline, at an older age, that is a normal part of hair loss anyways and it will look normal for your age. If someone has the money and is willing to take the chance of using this hair in a lower hairline I say go for it. Just don't use that hair behind the hairline. It could be a waste of money, but that would be an informed risk the patient takes.
  15. Drew, are you saying I should have a smaller number of grafts taken from the beard? Yes. Ask Dr Umar to not go down your neck if you are worried about scarring. It will help increase your density in the Crown and you can save more head hair for any future procedures.
  16. OutFREAKing standing! I love your hair style. The highlights really help also. You look great. Congratulations Than!
  17. Good luck Severn. I'm sure the results will be great.
  18. Thanks Than. I appreciate that. I hope I will be able to utilize your hair regiment in a few months.
  19. Thanks Joe! I am very happy with the temples. My wife noticed them and thought Dr Wong did a great job. With a little more growth I should be able to use some concealer. Now I'll try to continue to wait patiently.
  20. I think you look great Abedogg! Dr Umar did a great job.
  21. I think Dr Rahal did a fantastic job! If you did lose any grafts it wasn't many. I think you'll be fine. Were you wearing a hat?
