  1. I had a hair transplant about fifteen years ago using the FUT technique. It left me with a wide scar. Last December I underwent a FUE procedure to increase the density and improve the hairline on top. I could not get my scar filled then using FUE as it would make sleeping a nightmare and I would have probably dislodged some grafts either in the scar or on top. I would like to proceed before the summer to have my FUT scar filled in using FUE. It's three months since my last surgery. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before harvesting grafts from my donor area again, does the donor area need a set time to recover, could I proceed with my scar repair in the next three months? Thanks in advance.
  2. When I read the thread title on the mainpage, immediately Sanjar sprung to mind. It would be great if he could be helped out.
  3. I'm now one month post op with Dr Yaman. All of the above as you mentioned is offered. PRP, airport and hotel transfers. He also breaks up the extraction process to minimise grafts time outside of the body. It's early days but I have no complaints from my experience. Obviously waiting on the end results to make a final judgement. I've read here people have issues with communication with the clinic. I found conversing via whatsapp with one of their reps for most of the time was the better option. Responses much more prompt than email.
  4. Sanjar, I hope you get yourself sorted. Perhaps a doctor on here can give you advice going forward looking at the pictures in the OP and even if you had updated pictures to show. 'Tis the season of giving! It would be wonderful for you if a doctor on here could go one step further and do a pro bono case. Finally if I was in your position and I had the strength, I'd stand outside Dr Bolands clinic for a month everyday without a hat on if I could and actively encourage his patients entering his clinic eachday to do a u-turn. If I was brave enough, I'd even approach the local media where the clinic is located. Finally, I'd also look into taking this clinic to the courts. I've no idea how it works in the U.S though. Can they be done for a nurse carrying out the procedure? Goodluck with everything.
  5. Perhaps it would have been common sense for nurse Catherine not to perform this procedure. Sanjar41 didn't ask nor pay to be butchered.
  6. About 30 different people have posted on this thread. The general consensus is a feeling of one of shock, to support to utter bewilderment to what the OP has endured. Just one poster, DD214 continuously posts defending this clinic and the work performed on Sanjar41. He unashamedly does it and exclusively only posts about this clinic. And not just not on this thread. Another person who got a bad result from this clinic he pinned the blame on them for not carrying out due diligence by preventing an infection, an infection that DD214 self-diagnosed online after looking at the picture. Yet he can look at the pictures in the OP and field no criticism towards the clinic. But DD214 protests that he is just a happy customer from this clinic. Pull the other one, we didn't all come down in the last shower.
  7. Below is a quote from a previous post of yours on this clinic. That made me chuckle. There was conformity on this thread regarding the horror story posted by the OP until you turned up. Someome exclusively posting about the same clinic.
  8. 14 posts. 100% of your posts are all on the same clinic. Go back and look at the photos in the OP.
  9. Great to hear:) I'm just about two weeks post op with Dr Resul Yaman and am hoping I don't get any shockloss of my native hair.
  10. During the two months to date have you experienced any shockloss of your native hair?
  11. He did the anathestic injections on one side. Did all incisions and extractions. And obviously designed/drew the hairline.
  12. Thanks Dr-Traveller. Twelve day update following my HT with Dr Resul Yaman in Turkey. All the scabs have fallen off.
  13. Cheers. Fingers crossed. I'm also healing quite quickly. Perhaps it is the PRP pre-procedure.
  14. I enquired a little about BHT into my scar. Fikret, the rep told me, that Dr Yaman can use beard hair as far as I recall. Probably better contacting the clinic.
  15. I paid 3400 euro for 3400 grafts. I believe if you get under 3000 grafts, hotel accommodation is not included in the price.
  16. My procedure was nine days ago. I'm having trouble uploading my photos. Will try sort it out. Just to add. Everything that was detailed in the price was delivered on. Transfers to and from airport. Transport to and from the clinic each day. Excellent hotel accommodation included. PRP included. Dr Yaman performed extractions and incisions. Hotel, hospital and airport all within a twenty minute radius.
  17. After spending last three years(alot of my research done on here) looking into correcting a previous bad hair transplant from about sixteen years ago and to improve the density of my frontal/mid part from stress related hair loss four years ago.. At the time got a bad shed for about ten months but thankfully that episode has long subsided. Unfortunately not all the shedded hair grew back. I've been on Fin and minoxidil consistently for the past seven years. After many online and face to face consultations, I chose Dr Yaman. The plan was to improve my hairline with a camouflaging technique. My old receding hairline was unlevel, irregular density and some hairs growing in wrong direction. I opted not to extract and reposition some, I didn't want to add extra trauma to the area, the day of OP. And the rest of the plan was to improve the density further back with the remaing grafts. At a later stage I plan to have FUE into my scar and will consider then to top up on my current procedure. 3400 grafts in total. 810 singles. 1850 doubles. 760 multiples. As for chosing Dr Resul Yaman. I had looked into Irish and UK doctors and to be honest they are alot more expensive. (One in particular charges 10 euro per graft) I did look a little further a field in europe but ultimately my budget didn't stretch to what ideally I wanted done. After dismissing Turkey for a long time, I decided I would explore the idea. I've spent the last few months looking at Dr Yaman work/results online, ethos, price etc etc I did look elsewhere in Turkey but I could fly direct to Istanbul from home. It's two flights to Ankara each way for example. And also the fact that Dr Resul Yaman is recommended on here. Finally, all my contact via email, whatsapp, until I had my face to face consultation with Dr Yaman was with Fikret, a clinic rep. Fikret is a top guy. Extremely helpful, easy going, answers any questions, even sometimes the same ones asked multiple times. Honestly, from my first day arriving in Istanbul to the last day returning home to Ireland, I cannot fault any of the service/consultation/procedure on the day, Dr Yaman, his team, Fikret and the drivers, and the hotel.
  18. Perhaps someone can help me out here. When you begin the cycle of hair shedding post op, should you only be shedding individual hairs? For example, I'm eight days post op and have followed all the instructions from my surgeon meticulously. Today after I washed my hair, two or three individual hairs landed in the sink but something (perhaps a graft or not) but two hairs attached together also appeared in the sink. There was no blood whatsoever and to repeat this is day eight after my surgery. Is it sometimes normal to shed hairs attached together or should you just be shedding individual hairs? Thanks in advance for any responses!
  19. I wonder is there a reputable surgeon on this forum that might consider offering options to Paleo for repair work pro bono if ultimately needed. Obviously one should wait twelve months to see your final results but I suspect the next six months may just be as anxious for Paleo as the previous six months. But if Paleo had a commitment from another surgeon to fix things after a year if things don't improve, well I'm sure that could make life a little easier for Paleo in the months to come.
  20. Thanks a million Gillenator. You've explained it concisely, I get it it now. I'm think I'm going to choose to get the new grafts placed in and around the old grafts in the hairline with the option down the road of removing some of the old bad mis-angled grafts in a separate procedure.
  21. If we call the hairline the area and the old grafts the individual sites within the hairline area. If some of the old grafts are excised, can I take it you can implant new grafts around the sites, but on that day of surgery not in the individual tiny sites created by the extractions? They would need to heal first? I ask this, as currently I seem to be getting conflicting views from different surgeons. I want all my work done on one day and will be travelling abroad. It is my opinion that excised individual sites would need to heal before re-implanting grafts precisely in there but it would be okay to implant around those sites.
