This is not really the clinic's fault but I thought I'd emphasize how one sided the comparison is. The after pictures might lead one to believe his resulting hair is "perfect", but in reality the low quality blurry pictures in poor lighting with strategically styled hair act to conceal the flaws.... a lot.

Results are subjective obviously, but I personally think Feriduni's FUE and even what little FUE results Konior has posted are superior. Regardless, my point is I'm sure many people do not think Demsory or Doganay would do it better. As far as saving money, great... but ideally results should come before saving money IMO.</p>

I feel like this is a one sided statement. A reputable FUE doc will not harvest more than 25-30% max in any given area. Again, this is the max. Ok now with that said, first of all with FUE after the donor area has healed, no one is going to have any idea hairs were extracted there because it looks approximately identical to what it did before. Second, a FUT scar is covered not just by density but more importantly the length of the hair. If a scar is suddenly now too visible with long hair after 25-30% of the hairs were removed, you can bet it was still quite visible before. Regardless, you still have the options: 1) have your FUE doc harvest little or no hairs around the potential strip area, 2) FUE around the FUT scar.

The redness in the recipient area tends to slowly go away over the course of 6-12 months or so. I'm 4 months out from FUE and the redness is probably 70% diminished, but the remaining 30% is still quite noticeable.

I don't know a whole lot about those doctors, but based on the results I've seen I feel like Konior is definitely superior. My 2 cents.

I feel the part in bold is a big misconception. If you go to the best surgeon in world and follow post op instructions to a T, you can still scar poorly IMO. How your body heals is a huge factor in the scar. If your body produces more collagen than normal (which is not an uncommon thing), I don't think it will turn out great regardless of anything.

No immediate post op so it's hard to tell how good this is for 2500 grafts. There seems to be a massive amount of flash used as well. Some of the hairline pictures are difficult to make out details (due to the distance it seems?). With that said, I think this is probably decent.

He's more willing to lower and flatten the hairline than most top FUE docs

For aggressive FUE hairlines I think Feriduni is probably the best. I think Lorenzo has better FUE results in general but he tends to be more conservative. There are a bunch of other top FUE guys too, but IMO Feriduni and Lorenzo seem to have more consistent results.

Absolutely agree that better pictures should be taken and posted, and we're not just talking about flash either. I remember very recently a clinic actually posted photoshopped stuff here... they got called out because the editing was pretty obvious. Makes you wonder how many of the pictures shown here are intentionally done in a way to deceive people. I would venture to say most. I mean, all clinics will have the tendency to post what puts them in the good light, but I think in general it's a bit out of hand. There are lots of very one sided results posted that come across as infomercials in terms of presentation. The issue of flash is rarely a topic of discussion here not just because most people are unaware, but also because there tends to be so many other issues with the pictures: blurriness, bad lighting, poor resolution, limited angles, and biased display (i.e. post op hair impeccably styled, pre op hair combed up and apart) come to mind. There are many variables when it comes to taking pictures unfortunately. Maybe if clinics just got into the routine and recording videos (when able) it would simplify things.

Feriduni usually has shots with the hair pulled up, this is a bit uncharacteristic of him. In the post op shots the hair is styled. Looks pretty good in general but hard to comment more specifically.

Preop it looks like he had almost no hair in areas of his crown then post he has quite a bit of hair there kinda weird

Day 12. The 3rd picture has been loading for days now. I am running low on supplies and fear I won't make it through the first post. I took a screenshot of a thumbnail and tried to enlarge it out of desperation... but it's pixelated and unusable. My mind is wrought with suspense.

If your hairloss progresses slowly, a HT without meds can work... but as mentioned above that's extremely difficult to predict. You might want to see some credible HT docs and have them analyze your miniaturization, maybe once now and then again in 6-12 months. Never assume your hair is stable just because it hasn't appeared to change much in a while... I've seen guys who were NW1 become NW3 in the matter of a few years. I bet they were thinking, "Man what happened? I didn't think this could happen!"

A+ I think this is just about as good as it can possibly get. I'm presuming this is FUT, it's too bad Konior doesn't specialize in FUE.

Alpoecia areata is a different type of hairloss the overwhelming majorty of us suffer from, right? Alopecia areata is a rare condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicbles causing hair to fall out in patches, correct?

I think laser combs are a waste of time, energy, and money. So while I cannot recommend a specific brand, I would recommend avoiding them.

For 1665 grafts I think this is at least decent. But the one result pic here is not sufficient at showing the outcome IMO. This is like showing off a car by taking one picture from the outside - okay, at a glance it looks cool but can we see inside? What's under the hood?

Yep everything on the site is slow. There's a long delay in doing everything, but worst of all is the picture loading. Each pic is 10+ seconds, and when there's a thread of several pictures it's becoming not even worth it. Really brings down the quality of the site.

That's good to hear Bronte. However in my honest opinion I don't think you should have been so insecure with her. She may be a great woman, but generally speaking when you doubt yourself and act like that you lower your value. Some things are better left unsaid. There is a difference between being honest but sugar coating it, and being too honest. For example instead of directly questioning whether she should want to date you, and specifically mentioning your hair and body, you could have said something like, "We haven't seen each other in so long, this should be very interesting. So much has changed!" and then go from there. That's just my opinion.

Thanks for sharing the immediate post op pic. Looks like the hairline was lowered and temple point work was done too. I wonder how many grafts went into the crown, it didn't look like he had much loss in the crown originally though. I agree overall there is a big improvement in the appearance of his hair. But there is also a big improvement in the appearance of my hair from the time I wake up, to the time I style it in the bathroom a few minutes later. It looks like the preop pics were taken in the office with the hair arranged to emphasize the hairloss. The pics taken by the patient were taken under a more favorable hairstyle. From what I can tell the front of the hairline looks good but there's no good shots of the temple corners and the crown is hard to evaluate because of the difference in hairstyles.

Agree, are the result pics trying to trick us into thinking his hair is better than it is or actually display the details of the result? I would tend to think more of the former. I think this is a large area for 2800 grafts, but with proper graft placement and high yield I think this could look really good. Not sure what it really looks like though.
