  1. I just looked up the Rachael Ray show and found more info about the Neograph machine and the doctor that talked about it. Hair transplantation "The NeoGraft machine is based on a vacuum technology," Dr. Youn says. "What we can do is use this machine to actually punch out the hair follicles [from one location] and then reverse the vacuum and put the hair follicles back into the new location. Plus, because we're punching it out hair by hair, you can technically take hair from your chest and put it on top of your head; you can take hair from your back, and even theoretically, you could take it from your armpit and put it on top of your head!" http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/...rgery-breakthroughs/
  2. Thanks for the responses especially Dr. Lindsey it's great to see coalition doctors respond to people's questions in here. I don't see any information or results from the Neograph so I don't think people know to much about it. I didn't get the doctor's name on the show but the Neograph can be used to take body hair and place it onto the scalp. To me I would rather use body hair instead of anymore scarring on my head. I can't afford a regular FUE I have a family, a mortgage bad economy you know can't spend tens of thousand of dollars on HT right know. With the Neograph supposedly it's less money for a procedure, less time, and less scarring so to me it makes sense. Great question from Curious that hasn't been answered who uses the Neograph? Any coalition doctors use it or going to eventually use it?
  3. Some of you guys need to do a little bit more reading about this Neograph machine because I'm not getting to many responses in here. Neograph sounds like the next big thing in HT. I am still getting more info myself but I already saw how a doctor uses it on TV. Here is the link, http://www.neograft.com/Home_Page.html
  4. The machine doesn't do the surgery by itself. Someone most likely a doctor uses a hand held device that sucks up each hair then places into the bold spot.
  5. My wife was watching the Rachael Ray show they had something about plastic surgerys. During the show they came out with this NeoGraft machine that is supposedly revolutionary for HT. The NeoGraft is like a vacuum that sucks the hair out from anywhere on your body and places it in the bold spots almost like an FUE procedure but less time, no scarring, less staff and cheaper cost. I would like to here from anyone that knows anything about this I'm hoping it's something I can get my hopes up on. Is there any doctors in the US already using this machine? Here is the link, neograft.com/Home_Page.html
  6. I know about how rogaine is only supposed to work on the crown but why is that? Why can't rogaine work on the top and front of the head area? Should I try applying rogaine on the top and front or is it just a waist of rogaine should only use it for crown?
  7. I know all about how your suppose to use Rogain 5% foam just on the crown but why can't it work on your entire scalp? Is their a reason why it only works on the crown and not in the front top of the head? If I apply Rogain all over my scalp can that possibly hurt the remaining hair in the frontal hairline?

  9. Someone In my local paper wrote to Dr. Gott from NYC that they used Tresemme shampoo for to months and see all kinds of new hair coming in. This shampoo had vitamin E and aloe with keratin in it. Now for you people who don't know who Dr. Gott is he is a doctor who answers questions to medical problems people are having. I think I'm going to check this shampoo out.
  10. Cmon guys wtf? No one knows about Minoxidil 15%?
  11. Don't everybody response all at the same time LOL. Thanks Bill.
  12. I use to take Propecia on and off for 4 years but no longer take it. I was getting some side affects but it didn't stop me from having sex. I was also concerned of the long term effects Propecia might have. I have been paying more attention to Proscar and like the idea only taking it on a M-W-F schedule that I saw somewhere in here. How many times would I have to cut the Proscar pill for M-W-F? I know Proscar is cheaper than Propecia how much is Proscar? On a M-W-F schedule will that be less of a chance to get side effects? Do Doctors recommend cutting Proscar who came up with this?
  13. Come on man is this stuff for real Minoxodil 15%? Bill, or any doctor out there give use an answer on this.
  14. I want to give Nioxin one more try since the last time I didn't really give a long enough chance. What Nioxin system # I'm I supposed to use 1-10 for thinning hair? Is Nioxin the best shampoo besides Nizoral 2?
  15. LT

    Proxiphen?

I never heard of this stuff plus price is ridiculous for 1 month supply. Does Proxiphen really work?
  16. dabuski, I have already tried Propecia on and off for 4 years had a little of side effects but not enough to stop me plus didn't really see my hairloss stop, I also tried Rogain Foam but I don't think I gave it enough time. I also used lasercomb, Avocar and 2 strip scar HT performed by a below average doctor so I didn't benefit me.
  17. Thanks Bill for the info. I think I'm going to get back on Rogain and probably use Nioxin Shampoo for now since I didn't give them long enough chance the last time I used both. I don't want to get back on Propecia I didn't really see it stop my hair loss plus had some slight libido loss.
  18. I just did some more reading on Provillus it looks like all there doing is taking Minoxidil 5% (FDA approved) which is basically Rogain and then adding some so called hair nourishment capsules. This is pretty frcken frustrating after being optimistic about some new hair growth treatments just another let down.
  19. I was doing some research and stumbled across these 2 products Provillus and Procerin. They both have 90 day money back guarantee and Provillus is approved by the FDA to regrow hair. To me Provillus sounds like something I might consider and I don't think both of them have any side effects. Can anyone tell me anything they know about these 2 products?
  20. You said "I have been using the Rogaine 5% foam product for about 20 months now" So is Rogain doing anything for you after 20 months? I am about to order Rogain and give a better shot than I did last time only 3 months wasn't long enough to see any results.
  21. Reading these posts just reminds me why I am not taking Propecia anymore and the possible long term effects isn't worth it. People in here keep telling me to get back on it but I will not. I was on and off Propecia for like 3 to 4 years. Every time I was on Propecia I did have a slight loss of libido but it didn't stop me for having sex but did feel a like less sex drive. I will use Rogain and other products and stay away from Propecia.
  22. I used my lasercomb for like 2 years straight it didn't stop my hair loss. The lasercomb sounded like a good idea at the time it was something different. Just one of many things I wasted my money on over the years to fight hair loss out of $600.00 with the lasercomb.
  23. Guys, thanks again for the input I appreciate it. Celeb hair vet, yes losing my hair really sucks and makes me angry but there is no way I will sell my house and downsize because of my hair loss that is ludicrous. Kokonut, I totally hear you about other people have it far worse than me in the world and the fact is I am lucky to have what I have it's just scks losing my hair makes me lose my confidence. Maxhair I'll tell you why I want to buzz my hair with a 1# guard. Since my frcken hair is falling off the top of my head buzzing the sides with a 1# makes look a lot better with thinning hair than having it grow thick on the sides looks like sht. That's really nice of you to even consider starting something like raising money for people who can't afford HT at this time.
  24. DB, this is what's good about being on here talking to other people with the same problem. Yes I am losing my frcken hair but I still stay in shape by going to the gym 4 times a week which gives me some confidence it's not a total loss. I am just trying to be helpful and say try going to a gym near you and start working out. Believe me it makes me feel good about myself at least I'm still in shape. I'm a NW3 so I am not totally bold yet but I wear hats almost all the time to and at work. I am just sick of wearing hats but almost nobody that knows me thinks I'm losing my hair because I've been hiding it forever, hats, dermatch. I can't spend $31,000 on HTs like other people in here to get full coverage. Like I said at this point in my life I just want to shave my head like so many other guys do when they are bold but can't. I don't see getting another HT anytime soon I have to much going on right now.
  25. Believe me Bill, one of my big problems is dwelling on my past wishing I never got that 2nd HT from that below average Doctor I went to. I wish I could turn back time and go to a top Doctor back then. I also think about how I was a stud with a lot of confidence only to become depresses and angry because of hairloss. You said "For some, hair loss, and even hair transplants have made life more difficult" that's me bro. I spent over $10,000 already, I blew my chances I didn't see a top Doc to perform my HT. So for me to get another HT is out of the question for a long time. I have been playing $10 of lotto almost every week so maybe I could get lucky then I would get a MEGA session HT. I can't even shave my head now because of my 2 strip scars so now I'm really fcked. This is why I was thinking about getting FUE put into my scars. Is their Doctors or Scientists close to coming up with cure for hairloss?
